How to Do a U-Turn & Three Point Turn (Driving Instructor Explains)

- Jaqueline explains how to do a u-turn and three point turn like a pro! She goes through how to determine a safe spot, where to look, possible dangers, and common mistakes.
If you find yourself making a wrong turn or going down the wrong street, u-turns and 3-point turns can be quite handy to handle. If the road is wide enough, you can make a u-turn. If the road is too narrow for a u-turn, you will need to make a 3-point turn instead.
Before you make the maneuver, make sure that you have enough space to do so and that you will be able to complete the maneuver without impeding the flow of traffic. Think of u-turns and 3-point turns as the last resort, most of the time it's easier and safer to go around the block!

It is so easy to do a 3-point turn. I don’t do it that much but, I do remember on how to do one. I don’t do u-turns at all. I will just turn into a parking lot to turn around in to get to the way I want to go. I seen people doing u-turns on a busy road.

Do you accelerate while the steering wheel is all the way turn during the the u turn? Or do you accelerate after you turn the steering wheel all the way back to it's position?
U just how your foot over brake and accelerate when u turn completed

Wouldn't count it as a u-turn would have been better to be on a public road with multiple lanes that allows you to do a u turn, instead ur just going around that neighborhood. The 3 point turn was very informative though thank you

The turn is not hard to do at at all it its just in a small space i did the turn so many times in real life so it simple to do it is just the blinker part is a issue.
