I thought you knew about the premium kit from Steiners? Theirs uses two large pan head screws that center the pin off of the outer holes. It fixed the slop on my 350.
Yeah Ive used those innthe past. They dont work bad, I just like the idea of replaceable bushings hidden making it now serviceable for the next generation.
Could be the shift rail is loose and out of alignment. Id pull the shifter out and see. Put it in neutral before pulling so you can see if all 3 are lined up.
Get yourself some reamers! Much more accurate for sizing holes than drill bits. Clutch pedal is really sloppy on my 400 and 450. They will get bushed someday.

Nice video, great fix.
Thanks man
Wow that's really cool. Excellent work. Really enjoy your detailed work bringing these old tractors back to their original glory.
Thank you 😊
I’d never attempt the repairs like you do but I enjoy watching you refurbish these. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed week ahead.
Thank you! I always say that the only way to truly learn is to fail a time or two.
An old neighbour of mine would say when explaining such a loose fitting " it rattles round like a spoon in a mug"
Yup!
Was wondering about that little baby Cub, it needed to have a nap, but will it be coming back out to play again soon?
My daughter has been asking as well lol Soon , very soon though!

I have reamers but for a job this small and not a precision fit drill bits work fine. Yeah Im getting ready to order a couple of shafts for both 450s.
well if ours gives out i'll just ship it to u lol :)
Absolutely!
Very helpful but wish you would put the camera on its stand. Makes me feel seasick watching lol but very useful information.
Seriously?
I can't imagine being that sensitive, on rare occasions I see other commenters say this but it isn't often, I just can't imagine.

Great fix for a common problem. Thanks
Unfortunately to show everything the stand isn't always the best option.
I thought I was moving semi slow with the camera lol
