You keep referring to cericoating different parts of the tractor. I’m unfamiliar with that, is it a name brand paint or like powder coating? Love the looks of your tractor, the tire upgrade, the paint scheme, all the small details were spot on.

I just did a seat overhaul like that on my 400. Old one was absolutely shot, picked up a fantastic replacement at Red Power in Spencer. Tore it apart, painted, and replaced shock bushings. Shock was good. Also picked up a new seat pan at Spencer, wow, what an improvement!

Thanks for your video. I am very mechanically inclined, but that plastic ring had me baffled. I think partially, because it looks like one that I have does not have the indentation as shown. I will try and see if I can install it under the clip. (Edit, I was able to install the ring as shown. There is a slight indentation on the assembly.) Thanks for the info on the adapter. That is very helpful, as you mentioned, no one shows to order the additional part. Thanks again.

This was a problem with the 140 as well. The factory fix was to weld the gear to the shaft, I have done that many times and never had an issue doing so.

The only question I have is...what the hell is a Bud Select..??? We don't have any of those in Detroit 😮 Maybe I have to go to a fancy store..! P.S. thanks for the part #'s

Are you running a standard generator or inverter generator. I had to replace my generator and unfortunately discovered that my inverter will not accept power from a generator unless it’s an inverter generator. I am looking at purchasing this unit in the 15k version for my off-grid system but need to make sure it will accept power from a normal generator. Thanks, Matthew

I can't remember how he did it, but I''m sure the way my dad used to do it is pull the roll pin out of the coupler and remove it and he changed the seals without disassembling the transfer pump. I'd just use that transfer pump if you reseal it. The A pumps use a different transfer pump with a scavenger port. You can do the transfer pump without pulling the injection pump. The world is just nuts. People can't figure out their gender and yet they want to do a body transplant. Thanks for the video! I did subscribe a while ago.

I see there are no replaceable valve seats in those old engines. I think most newer gas engines have hardened valve seat inserts now. Do the cast iron valve seats in these engines hold up well with the modern gas we get today? I'm just wondering because I know a lot of those old tractors are still working everyday and it seems like they still run after all these years.

Looks like a Farmall 450 Diesel by the injectors. I have to fix a Super WD-6 leaking fuel in the pump. It is likely the transfer pump seal but it could be leaking at the delivery valves as well. Usually.
