    thank you very much!!! I'm having that annoying airbag light On, it goes on and off sometimes so I decided to buy the Clickspring to do it myself. You made it look easy so thank you very much for the detailed instructions.

    Very helpful and concise, thank you. Swapped my 09 laredo's. Mine had metric hex/phillips screw on bottom cover, pia

    Great video and it def helped me switch mines out. But any idea if i have to reprogram the key fob because i cannot get it to open now 😢

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, this should have no impact on the key fob operation.

    What about the EAS BPS and traction light? Does replacing the clock spring help?

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on what the code is, but most likely not. Even with the airbag light, it isn't always because of the clock spring. I would recommend having those lights diagnosed before throwing parts at it.

      That was my exact problem and yes it fixed me.

    Out of curiosity did you ever finish the tdi ranger? Going to be attempting a similar project soon

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, someone else here in town has that project now, but I am onto a TDI Dakota swap. I have a couple videos from that on my channel now, and a bunch of pictures and videos detailing the build on my Facebook.

      Dakota TDI is up and running! Video on my channel.
      Have you done that swap yet?

    Where did you purchase this clock spring?

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't recall, but I know they are readily available through the dealership, parts stores, and online from pretty much everywhere including eBay.

      @@JonathanErber ok great. yeah, I was asking because I found one similar to the one you have on ebay. NOnetheless, thank you for the reply.

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, that should work fine!

      Did you torque down the bolt? Noone mentions this

    • @JonathanErber
      @JonathanErber  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ShyRage1 You talking about the steering wheel nut? Honestly, I know my little Snap On impact gun pretty well and gauge size of bolt and thread pitch for how hard to hit it, but that comes with experience. If you are questioning your torque and don't have a ton of experience, throw a little blue loctite on it and tighten it down good and tight. On this application that nut will be forgiving, especially with a little blue loctite.
