Dodge Towing near glass replacement

I replaced the mirror with plastic assembly either I broke the tab off or it was gone used a screw driver between the mirror mount and the plastic that the mirror is mounted on it wouldn’t separate I pushed the mirror in at the window 4 mounting tabs that are suppose to slide out towards the window I took a hammer gave it a sharp rap on the out edge side of the plastic that holds the mirror came right out with no damage to the mirror mount
