even though the cross is right then why is o blood group so common

It's coz if u cross two ii(O) grp, all the offsprings will have O blood group.
If the cross is between heterozygous A and Heterozygous A, 25% offsrings will have O Blood grp. Same goes for cross between heterozygous B and Heterozygous B. If you cross heterozygous A and heterozygous B, still 25% offsprings will have O blood group. Thats the reason why O group (i allele) is common in population.
