Hey..ur video is appreciable..I want to clear one thing..is fuel pump lead is same as to fuel cam lead...I believe fuel pump lead is the distance from upper egde of spill port to position untill concerned unit is in TDC.so the one that u mentioned goes for fuel cam lead.... Please clear bit. Thanks in advance
Already I have expanded!!!! Please watch it from playist section in fuel pump part-6 Thank you Keep learning and sharing knowledge Please bring your friends also to this platform !!!
Mathematically, the plunger lift cannot be adjusted by shims, because IT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN X AND D1. SO WITH LESS OR MORE SHIM, THE SUBSTRACTION WILL CANCEL THE SHIM THICKNESS AND THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE THE SAME. Unless you alter the start of plunger movement, or lift the barrel up or down, there by changing the position of the suction hole, which is closed by the plunger for start of injection, you cannot change the timing even by a micromillimeter.
we insert shim between the top cover and the fuel pump body( note: the barrel is the part of the fuel pump top cover it is a single construction), thus by adding or removing shims we adjust the height of spill port changing the time of BOI.
Thank you for your support and response!!!! We always try to provide as much information possible But we cannot satisfy everyone as u know it is impossible But will try to improve !!!!
very good explanation and video

Hello Surajan!!!
Thanks dor for ur query
what u r telling is right
can you please explain 4 STROKE MAN B&W fuel pump timing and adjustment. nice video. thanks

Good one..!!
Try to mention all parts name while you explaining as well as in your diagrams.

Thatz very gud explanation with video. Sir, i have a doubt that how can we cut off fuel supply to a particular cylinder unit which is affected .
please click on the below link:

i hope by watching the video it will be cleared!!!!
Can you make a video of rt flex engine control system ..that is how the fuel is infecting through rail
Please make a video on alpha cylinder lubrication system
Yes I am going to upload video on alpha lubrication on last week of July!!!!
@@MarineEngineeringHub thanks alot
Sir what is vit index ?
Message me at my messenger In fb I will send you pic it will be clear to you
@@MarineEngineeringHub PLS I NEED THIS EXPLANATION TOO
in diagram ,i m still unclear of plunger position, while going from bottom to top,
Can we use this method on 4 stroke?
If can't, what is the reason?
Why we use different method for 2/4 stroke?
you did not gave clear idea about plunger position and piston position and process of measuring the lead. Kindly remake the video
When you say timing difference please give reference with crankshaft. You have not mentioned crankshaft as reference.
Sry it's position not a piston
Other wise mention it as a plunger
It is piston at TDC not for plunger at TDC.
D1 when plunger at base circle.
X when piston reaches TDC.
