Lynette, you're such a wonderful example of Christian love. Your emotions and heart are there for everyone to see, which is what is expected after what everyone has been through. Praying for you and your entire family, as you all work through this. Thank goodness with Milton, you were able to be safe at church. Love to you all and may Gods love and arms continue to hold and protect you, dear one.
Your emotion is completely understandable. The storms and hurricanes take a toll on us. Life in Sarasota has not been easy. We will get through this! Thanks for your videos. The children are growing up so rapidly.
What's happening in Asheville breaks my heart, but I'm encouraged by the outpouring of people across the country who have and continue to go in to help. 🙏
My heart has been so broken for all the people affected by the Helene floods in NC. I feel so helpless and wish I could go there to help. Do something. Anything. And I'm so thankful for those that can. May God bless them and keep them all!
There is no problem with the videos being out of sync, it’s been a rather stressful time in west Florida of late. Great to see the girls helping out in the garden, never too young to learn where food comes from. Best wishes from London, England (we should have been in Siesta Key mid-October but Hurricane Milton had other ideas).
My hometown has sent two semis to North Carolina. We are a farming community and now they are filling a semi with hay and animal feed as well as boots and gloves. Very proud that all of the people are focused on helping each other.
Lynette, you have a beautiful singing voice and a beautiful heart. The bread looks delicious! I hope your plants do well. Maybe they will get just enough sun. 😊 Loved this video. ❤ I understand your sadness for the hurricane, tornadoes, flooding and landslide victims. It's heartbreaking. I have cried and cried. However, prayer is definitely what they need. Those who have gone there to help need prayer as well. It's just so much! 😔 Praying for all of them.❤
I often feel like you do about what happened in my state. While I don’t live in that part of NC, I have spent so much time in those hills. People I love are there. It does feel hopeless at times & i feel like I am grieving. Thank you for your prayers & for talking about this. We are heartbroken & so many have lost so much.
Our churches trucked down supplies for the hurricane relief. We did some gathering. We picked up a dozen work gloves and I went to Wal-Mart and filled a basket. I made some tied blankets for children. I sell crafts and use my money to help. I cannot do a huge amount but I can do something. I found a half a case of new towels I had forgotten about. If we all do something it adds up. I donated gas money as it is about ten hours from us. We even had local farmers donate bales of hay and feed along with buckets to feed live stock. They immediately put them to use. I continue to pray.
Liebe Lynette!
Don't worry about the order of your videos. We enjoy them all. We can tell which are most recent clips or not, and we won't complain. We had recent flooding here this past weekend from torrential rains. Definitely, this has been a hard year, weather wise alone. Watching your videos lightens our hearts. Prayers continue for all the recent victims of Helene and Milton.❤
Helene has heartbreaking destruction but you’re right the volunteers have been amazing. Just normal people are doing so much. It does melt your heart. Bless you sweet friend
Hi Lynette...I have been watching your videos for almost a year now. I have never commented , but just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy them. Thank you for all of the love and encouragement that shines through to your viewers. Most of all thank you for sharing your life and your honest faith. ❤
It was a great video, even with the challenges. Apparently, Helene was much worse and IS much worse than we've been told by the administration. And they are begging for help that doesn't seem forthcoming. Americans are stepping up to help each other and thank the Lord for that. I've donated to Samaritan's Purse because that is all I can do and leave the rest to the power of prayer. God bless you to being sensitive to this chaotic disaster. I loved tagging along with you and the family. Those boys are so good at golf and what good helpers the girls are. I loved the music too. Love to each of you from Texas, Deb.
Thank you, Lynette, for remembering our area during Helene. Had no idea the damage it would do and how it will change our life for years to come. Landscapes will be different . So many homes destroyed but particularly the lives. If I’d had any idea what was happening just few miles on either side of my home I would’ve been in panic. I feel God protected my mind. We had around 17 large trees ripped up and shattered at edge of our yard. Think possibly a tornado looking at damage. Basement flooded some. No great big deal. We were blessed. We already had Starlink and a generator. Was able to help quite a few neighbors reach families. My husband repaired quite a few generators and other things people needed. I’m disabled… I prayed. You do what you can. My kids and families went out helping in neighboring communities. My daughter and granddaughter lost their cars and had some damage on home from falling trees. God is so good. The two places I mentioned on either side of by a few miles both had lost lives. We were trapped a while from mudslides, no electricity…. But we fared well here. Praise God. My heart breaks for others that I see and hear about. I find myself bawling. Wish I could help more….thanks and may God bless each one who have sent and prayed and brought truck loads of supplies. God bless you for caring….. keep praying. So much to be done.
Please stay strong and keep the faith and hope alive. Its so easy to get discouraged. We in the west are sending help through our church. And our prayers. I can't imagine what you all have been through but want to wrap you all in warm hugs and lift you up.
The bread you've made looks delicious. I love hearing you reading God's Word to the girls at breakfast. You have such a sensitive and compassionate heart when talking about and helping those who have been drastically affected by the recent hurricanes. God bless!!
TYFS all you do!!! I love the way you cook...everything looks SO GOOD!!! Cheeseburger soup!! Who knew??!! Got to try it, now that fall has arrived in Illinois...I understand your emotions about Helene. It is so sad that it's taking our government so long to respond 😢...prayers for everyone 🙏 ❤️
Hi Lynette, enjoyed the video...just a tip given to me years ago on using my kitchen aid to mix bread. My bread recipe make 6 small loaves..so i mix the liquid then i dump it into a measuring bowl and pour half the liquid back into the mixing bowl and half the flour. Mix on low.. Take out the dough..Then repeat. Then i finish kneading it by hand. My sis in law said they burned up one mixer doing it all at once so thats why they started doing half at a time.
I live in Australia Lyn and have followed it pretty closely. I too am brought to tears when I see the horrific scenes. I watch Knorpp and South vlogers who live in NC and they have been going on weekends to help out. I loved this video and am grateful the Lord spared your beautiful home. ❤
Been watching you since the Ohio days with two little boys. It is always my pleasure to watch ... I feel refreshed and inspired by your kindness and lo e of family! 💖🙏
I so enjoyed this video, it didn’t matter that it was out of order as the content was great. Lynette you have such a kind, beautiful heart, always thinking and caring for others. Sending love and blessings to you and your beautiful family. 🙏🏻💕🌸
Hello Lynette, God's grace and love is so powerful. We will be blessed when we follow God. Thank you for allowing us to see your family. God has blessed you with a beautiful family.
Each time I see you jab your bread loafs with a fork,it makes me think of my mom. She did that and I still do as well. I am 82 so that was many years ago that I learned that from my mom. Thanks for the sweet memories. From Lancaster Pennsylvania.
Thanks Lynette 👍 even though I don’t know you personally I feel like I know you (if that makes sense) love watching your videos💕❤️. So happy the boys are doing golf - great sport 👍. Blessings & enjoy your weekend away🙏🙏
Wanted to offer you a hug and some encouragement related to how you've been feeling about all the flooding. It's hard and I would also feel overwhelmed with all that's happened. The Lord is the best source of comfort and hope and He is so faithful and kind. Praying for you all to feel His presence and love today and in the days to come, Lyn!
Lynette, I’m glad you showed this video, it answered some questions I had about the last one. Soup looks tasty. So much tragedy in the world today, no one knows what to do. So we pray and help where we can. Take care, and God Bless you and your family.❤❤❤
I donated to help feed people after hurricane Helene. After our town was hit by a tornado in May, I needed to pay it forward for all the warm meals that were delivered to us for one week while we had no power.
Hi Lynette! I totally understand where you're coming from. My heart is so broken of over all the devastation & destruction, a the loss people have suffered & the lives that have been taken from these two hurricanes. I've watched videos, looked at pictures & listened to people talk about it all..i just can't fathom it. Some things I wish i hadn't seen it heard if I'm being honest. And sadly its still not over for so many, and for some it may never be over.😢 I'm so thankful to the Lord for watching over my family & home. Yes I was right in the middle of Milton & on the outskirts of Helene.. but only lost power with both. Sure it was an inconvenience, but absolutely nothing compared to what those up & around Asheville have been going thru. And there in the Sarasota area as well. Just like what your mom & dad went thru with the loss of their home. All I know to do is pray for all those affected by either or both hurricanes. I pray for strength, courage, hope, faith, comfort & peace for each & every one affected. I truly hurt for them all. Enjoyed the video! I pray you have a blessed week sweet friend🙏🏻
So refreshing to hear music glorifying our King Jesus. Thank you for that. I hear your deep care & sorrow for the people of north Carolina and Tennessee . It has overwhelmed me also. Not sure where to donate here in Minnesota. Praying for all there and in Florida. Thank you for being so real Lynette. God bless you & yourfamily❤
Good morning Lynette, I love you videos . I don't care what order they come in I'll watch them no matter what, the girls are absolutely beautiful love how they try to help you and those boys are growing up to be such a great little men. thank you for sharing your home and your family and your videos with us.😊😊😊
Reference…the sun’s location…I’m in zone 7. I garden in containers on my deck. The ☀️ reaches the deck around noon, once it moves over the roof. My garden does ok with that. I ❤️ 👀 the interest your daughters have in all you do…perfect mentoring! Yes…🙏🙏🙏‼️
I can understand your emotions completely. I too do not understand why there has not been more news coverage for us to really understand the magnitude of the destruction; which would hopefully boost donations. It is all so very sad. Continued prayers for all that were/are effected my that terrible, terrible hurricane (NC included)🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Always fun getting your latest video. That feeling you had about hurricane in NC damage was how I felt watching yours and others videos from Sarasota. I know wasn’t same scale but my heart hurt so much from your parents loss. All the things that were lost was so sad but it proofs JESUS is all we really have and need. 🙏❤️❣️
I love watching the boys golf! My husband coached my 2 boys and as adults golfing is a big part of their life!! We all went to Scotland at golfed the Old Course in St. Andrews! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Lynette it is still overwhelming to see the images from Helene. By the grace of God we were spared so much here in Florida although I know many here did go through this storm. Thank you for the bread recipe. I am attempting a sourdough starter, so far so good , this is my second try. Blessings to you and your family! God is great!
Tonight I made your Cheeseburger Soup, except I let it cook all day in the crockpot. It was the TASTIEST Cheeseburger soup recipe I have run across. Definitely will be making again. Thank you for sharing, perfect for this time of year.
Thanks for sharing this video even if it’s out of order. I enjoy every single video you post! I’m excited to see what your fall garden does. Love your apron too❤
Always great to see you. Sadly chimney rock was leveled and lake lure a vessel for all the debris. People have lost everything and aren't receiving enough help.
Lynette, i donated to Samaritan's Purse, Team Rubicon, and Cajun Navy 2016. I've also been praying daily for the affected families. It is so tragic, but we must put our trust in the Lord. Every little bit helps. ❤🙏❤️
Our county (Johnson) isnt getting much info out, but we were hit pretty hard, lots of homes lost, main routes washed away, folks sleeping in tents, lost everything they had. We are just across the state line near Boone, NC. We’ve never experienced anything like this. 🙏❤
Oh that bread looks so yummy! I can imagine how good your house must smell on the days you bake it! The cheeseburger soup has me intrigued! I might have to try that one. Our weather is starting to turn a little more seasonal here in MN so I might like to make some to come home to after church. Thank you for posting the recipes!
Hello Lynette!! Really enjoyed the video!!! I loved the music!!! It's so uplifting to listen to good Christian music!! Life is stressful at times but God is good all the time!!! I make the cheeseburger soup!! It's so delicious!!! The kids are adorable!!! Take care and God bless friend 🙏 😊❤
Thank you for showing your compassion for the hurricane victims. We should all have that much feeling for others in our hearts. My brother and sister in law have been to western NC 3 (from the Lowcountry of SC)times delivering supplies and they have at least one more trip planned as they collect more supplies. I hope your area is recovering well from Milton. May I make a suggestion if you should have to replace yourYour Kitchenaide? I recently bought a Bosch Universal mixer. It is such a workhorse! My bread recipe makes 5 loaves and it mixes and kneads without a problem for 10 minutes! That was one factor in my decision but another equally important fact is that the Bosch weighs almost half the weight of the Kitchenaide. This aging lady appreciates the lighter weight-and hand kneading has become increasingly difficult. I’ve also mixed pound cakes in it with great success.
This is the first year my brother has had a small garden here (high desert in Southern California). He put plants on the north side of the house to protect from our bad wind but now they aren’t getting a lot of sun. Next year the garden will be in a completely different place. Live and learn. (This is his first summer here)
IT IS SO REFRESHING TO TUNE IN TO YOUR ABSOLUTELY -DELIGHTFUL VIDEOS ABOUT YOUR HOME AND LIFE IN SARASOTA!!! THIS WORLD IS SO CRAZY AND SO STRESSFUL, THAT TO COME UPON A LOVELY, NORMAL, INDUSTRIOUS, HARD-WORKING LOVING FAMILY IS LIKE BREATHING GLORIOUS FRESH AIR!!!! I NEVER TIRE OF HEARING AND SEEING ALL OF YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY ACTIVITIES!! YOU ARE SUCH A TALENTED HOMEMAKER IN A HUNDRED DIFFERENT WAYS!! ALL OF YOUR VARIOUS MEAL PREPARATIONS ARE SO INTERESTING; AND YOUR DECORATING IDEAS ARE THE BEST!! YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY, INCLUDING THE CHILDREN, STAY BUSY EACH DAY WITH A VARIETY OF CHORES; BUT IT IS ALSO NICE TO SEE YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY INVOLVED IN "FUN" ACTIVITIES AS WELL!! BEST OF ALL IS THE FACT THAT YOU CENTER YOUR LIVES AROUND YOUR LOVE OF GOD!!!! GOD IS PROUD OF YOUR EXAMPLE, AND I ENJOY EACH DAY'S VIDEOS THAT YOU SHARE!!!! BLESSINGS ALWAYS TO YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY!!!!!
Really enjoyable video. You feel like most of us about the horrors from the hurricanes. And, prayer is vital, for sure. Just as in the days of Noah, so much is happening. People are coming together for each other. We lived on a golf course for many years. They told us not to walk on the grass in our bare feet or lay on the grass, because the used chemicals on the grass to keep it looking good. They said it might be harmful to us. Check with your golf course and be sure yours is safe for the children to be on.
I understand the weirdness of all of this, I live in Bradenton and although we escaped with minimal damage, so many people didn’t. It is really hard to get back in the swing of things so to speak. I also have property in Virginia that was hit with the storm. It is just heartbreaking. Listen, if Nick and the boys want to play golf at my club, I would love to host y’all ! Let’s start having fun! God is great!
I see my cousin’s (Urban Fresh) food truck in this video. I visited in February and had the chance to try their food. It was delicious! They satisfied my tastebuds wonderfully even with being dairy and gluten free. Although I did hear they offer a bread option now that does not affect those sensitive to gluten. I visited for a friends 50th birthday. It had been 10 years since my last visit. The winter months are my favorite time to visit. I also had the opportunity to visit Detweiler’s while there. It was a very worthwhile place to shop at and see all the wonderful varieties of food and specialty items.
Lynette, my 12 yr. old grandson absolutely loves pickled baby corn and I ordered him a 32 oz jar from Walnut Creek foods. It’s his favorite! The baby corn is huge compared to what you’d find in grocery chains. 😊
Hi Lynette. As I was listening and looking at your video .I could feel how overwhelming this experience was for you and your family. But look at the grace and mercy of our lord in this situation. You are all safe including your parents. Thank the lord for that. And their was minor damage to your home. The lord knows the why and how of all this. We just need to take all of us to him. For the lord put as at more ease and strengthen to continue and go on in life. The video was a good video. And I didn't see anything that effected this video but only you know what was and wasn't. So let God continue to comfort your heart and know it's all in his hands. In all we are to give thanks to God like Job did when he lost everything. In my prayers for you. Have a blessed day.
Hi Lynette, your bread looks like a bread I make called Wecka, it’s so delicious!! Your boys are really growing up! So nice to see them enjoying golfing like their Dad ❤
Being out of order isn't a problem Lynette, always enjoy watching you and your lovely family xx
Thanks so much 😊
Agree!
Agree also!!! And it was kind of fun to see what you planted only a week before the hurricane and what "survived" right? 💜💙💚💛🧡
You play the most beautiful music in your videos.....thank you for always showing your heart for Jesus ❤❤❤
Your emotion is completely understandable. The storms and hurricanes take a toll on us. Life in Sarasota has not been easy. We will get through this! Thanks for your videos. The children are growing up so rapidly.

Lynette, you have a beautiful singing voice and a beautiful heart.
The bread looks delicious!
I hope your plants do well. Maybe they will get just enough sun. 😊

I love that you keep it real, so painful to see the devastation, here in CA keeping you all in prayer

Thanks for sharing this video even if it’s out of order. I enjoy every single video you post! I’m excited to see what your fall garden does. Love your apron too❤
Those garden plants will grow extra large.
Always great to see you.
Sadly chimney rock was leveled and lake lure a vessel for all the debris. People have lost everything and aren't receiving enough help.
Awww, the children are growing so much.💜
Dear Lynette, you are beautiful inside and out. I love your family, recipes, Faith.
May God bless you all indeed. AMEN
Love from South Africa ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I got to Walnut Creek. It was amazing!
Thanks for sharing ♥️.. blessings to you and your beautiful family 🤗
Love your videos. It is always so calming to watch. You have a beautiful family!
Lynette, i donated to Samaritan's Purse, Team Rubicon, and Cajun Navy 2016. I've also been praying daily for the affected families. It is so tragic, but we must put our trust in the Lord. Every little bit helps. ❤🙏❤️
I've watched this one in full but happy to watch it again 😊. You are such a beautiful family. Glad you are enjoying your Ohio trip.
Our county (Johnson) isnt getting much info out, but we were hit pretty hard, lots of homes lost, main routes washed away, folks sleeping in tents, lost everything they had. We are just across the state line near Boone, NC. We’ve never experienced anything like this. 🙏❤
Thanks for helping out those in need! O-H
Prayers for the hurricane! Sending love ❤
Pretty good little golfers...I'm a golfer myself...hope they stick with it..
It was so fun to watch them!
Have a wonderful trip to see the Buckeyes.
This is the first year my brother has had a small garden here (high desert in Southern California). He put plants on the north side of the house to protect from our bad wind but now they aren’t getting a lot of sun. Next year the garden will be in a completely different place. Live and learn. (This is his first summer here)
All over the place are the best videos ❤ blessings from Kansas..
Such a beautiful family! We love and pray for you often!
My husband has played there when we visited our friends in Sarasota

Another fun and sweet video, Lynette! Also, you look beautiful in green!
Loved this video! I’m glad you decided to use the footage even if out of order. 😊
Love your new intro & outro!
Soup looks soooo good! Enjoy your trip. ❤🇨🇦
Thank you!!
Love your videos, the cooking & baking, but especially the music!❤
Thanks a lot for your video and the recipes.
Great video. I love the music! ❤
Thank you from nc. We truly appreciate all you've done.
Always enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing ❤❤
Hi Lynette, your bread looks like a bread I make called Wecka, it’s so delicious!! Your boys are really growing up! So nice to see them enjoying golfing like their Dad ❤
