Hi Lynette, your a super Mom, where you still find the time to share your family life with us is amazing. Thank you for always being encouraging and uplifting. You are appreciated. ❤
Using olive oil to coat your steak first, then seasoning very well and leaving them out at room temperature for an hour or two really brings out the flavors and juices. Also love to grill them and just before they’re cooked add a glob of butter and wrap them in foil and let set on heat for a minute or two!
I loved the dress on you at the beginning of this video…you looked so pretty in it. The sheets and the duvet cover combination was a hit! Good choice. The kids are all growing up so quickly……every time I see them I am amazed at how much they have matured….Little Harper is especially growing up so quickly…seems like she wasn’t a baby for long. So precious💞
I’m a silent subscriber but wanted to let you know I enjoy your channel, very motivational & ur home is so inviting. Thank you for bringing us along with you & opening up ur house to us.
Lynette, I love your dress. You always look so pretty. You have the most flattering clothes. You and the kids always look nice and are so nicely dressed. The kids really enjoyed the Kiwico. It is such a nice project for each of them. I wish they made these for adults.
I love when you do your hair in a video. Would you ever consider filming a tutorial on how you do your bun and what type of pins you use to hold it in place? I don’t wear a head covering but have my hair up 90% of the time. I struggle to get it to stay in place in a bun. Possibly because I’m using the wrong type of hair accessories. You seem to twist it up so easily and have it stay in place. Looks great!
I love the bedroom changes! Love the painting! Harper is really growing up! The boys are so funny too! The steak : if you salt & pepper it & brown it in a little evo on a cast iron pan & then stick it in the oven at 350 for 15-20 mins & then rest the meat with a cover for 10 mins it will be really tender. I add Garlic to my meat.
Your bed looks beautiful and inviting…but your duvet tutorial has strengthened my resolve to stick with quilts 🤣… we live in SC so when I rarely do need another layer, I add a down blanket beneath the quilt. Thank you for sharing some of your beautiful life with us ❤
Lynette any type of beef or pork even chicken you buy in the store please marinate to make tender. A lady many years ago gave me her secret. I’m 62 & have been doing this for years with our home raised meat. . It is plain yellow mustard! Now this will sound silly coat & smear heavy all over any cut of meat store in a ziplock back for at least 2 hours in fridge best if over night. Now you can rinse off the mustard pat dry & then season with what you want & cook it on the grill stove or oven. It will make such a difference. GOD BLESS FROM WEST CENTRAL INDIANA FARMLAND
Love the picture above the bed love the duvet and sheet set. Love the colors. Enjoy this video. Thank you for I always sharing the girls are both beautiful they’re growing and the boys are handsome❤ See you next Tuesday. God bless your friend Kathy
Your greenery you got cut the bottom with a pair of pliers they will cut through the plastic covering the wire that runs down the centre of the stems they will then sit correctly in you’re vase you can cut to size; as when you bend the at the bottom they bang into each bulge of plastic and don’t arrange nicely, you can also get some Oasis to put inside your vase to push in your flowers to help your arrangement look more in control x
Hi Lynette, you are sure a busy mum, my boys which I had four are all growing up and family of there own, know what it like to have a busy family, now we are busy grandparents of thirteen grand Children our first great grandchild little girl was born on Monday! Your home is beautiful and you have a beautiful family! Thank you for Sharing your life with us all love your video's! Gods Blessings Hugs Liz 😊❤🇨🇦
Greetings from the middle of Nebraska! It's always a treat to see your family and all the things you do. The bedding looks great on your bed and the print as well. You always make homemaking so enjoyable and not a chore. Thank you for sharing your recipe idea and your family!! Your video always brightens my day! God bless you all!
Hi Lynette. Tip for perfect steaks. Take them out at least 2 hours before you cook them. This way the meat is room temperature when you go to cook the steaks either grilling or in a cast iron skillet. I only cook steaks now in my cast iron. When you take the steaks out to sit, salt, pepper and garlic powder both sides. Be generous. Then heat skillet to high heat. Place a little olive oil and half a stick of butter. s soon as the butter melts, place steaks in the pan. Reduce heat to half. Let steaks cook about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium. Remove the steaks & let them rest for at least 5 minutes. Perfect every time. Oh and skirt steak, really only good for fajitas. Slice skirt steak in strips then add your fajita seasoning & sauté. All steaks should be room temp before you cook them. 😊😊Always fun watching your videos. Love the print, quite lovely.
Tip: Try buying a chuck eye steak. It came sour perfect every time! Also do this: Season & Sear steak in iron skillet brown both sides no more. Then put in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes! Let stand 10 minutes Perfect!
Well as I always say, your a great mom, wife and your always making sure you serve God and take good care of your family. I really like how you have done your bed. It's looks nice. Enjoyed your video as always. ❤❤
I always enjoy your videos. Try using a meat tenderizer on your steaks, the type with multiple blades. Then, marinade in one of the packaged marinades, such as Adolphs or McCormicks. You'll probably find them where dry gravy packets are sold. Using both the metal tenderizer and the mix should help. The bedroom is lovely!
Love the bedding so much! And your daughter who got wet is so cute bless her xx ❤ the picture you changed above the bed is much better. The bedroom looks so pretty xx ♥️
Love the way your bed turned out . The picture is very nice. Your home always looks beautiful. The picture on shelf in the kitchen looks good too! God Bless your beautiful family.
Love supporting your channel being a sister in Christ and loving your content. I ordered KiwiCo for my granddaughter and the stems for a vase for my bathroom.
Everytime I get a pineapple sliced at Detwilers, kids always come up to watch! And I love love your dress!!! I love doing Aldi pickup! I save so much money not going in the store! Lol
I have an oldish comforter that still had a ton of life in it, but I started to dislike the design, so I got a duvet cover to "fix" it. Easy fix, but just like you not having tabs, I obviously don't have tabs so it is indeed a workout getting it in. In the summer months I have a bright (cheap) quilt set that I use. Just to change it up. I justify it by making sure it is relatively inexpensive. 😊 I'm glad at Oaklynn's excitement to for VBS. It's wonderful that she's excited for that🥰. I know what you mean about cooking meat, some meats I'm confident that I am doing okay - others I dread because I am not confident and I figure if we spend so much money on it, I don't want to ruin it. 😳 Your food always looks good though. ☺️ Thank you once again for sharing - and I do like the new picture over your bed. It does look really nice.
Your steak did not look like skirt steak, but if it was, cook it rare to medium rare (no more than that). A fast sear works well as it is a thin steak (it's the diaphragm of the cow).
You have to put the steak in zip lock bags and marinate it for at least a day or two! Some spices a little soy lemons or oranges a splash of Worcestershire!
Hi Lynette from Ohio. We used to be monthly visitors at Der Dutchman Walnut Creek Ohio. If I’m not mistaken, I believe that’s where we seen you first! Keep up the wonderful content. God Bless you and your family.
Hi, I heard you can tenderize the meat with Baking Soda. Leave on 10 to 15 mins and rinse and wipe dry. I also heard you can add a little mayo to your chop meat for burgers. Also look up Chinese tenderizing marinades that should help.
I think it was the cut of steak. It’s not very tender. We don’t love Marinated steaks though, I’ll be honest. It takes us to our childhood 🤪🫣 those were not like the steaks we eat in restaurants nowadays. 😁 Guess we’re spoiled. And we haven’t gotten the hang of properly cooking them. Even a good rib-eye for instance. So I don’t often buy steak
@@LynetteYoder I no longer have a grill so cast iron it is! I discovered top sirloin steak, and watch the sales to get it for $6 a pound. I might pay more if I'm desperate but I try to get enough to last until the next sale. (But it's just me I'm cooking for.) Anyway, I cook it medium rare, my preference, and then when I warm the leftovers it's not too done. My main point is that I'm sticking with top sirloin.
mmm....steak... Grass fed is the best, but you have to be more gentle with it. Salt it and make sure it's sitting out at room temperature for quite a while before cooking. Then cook at a lower heat for a longer time. I eat my meat medium rare, so it's always tender, but even if you're cooking to medium, those tips should help.
Love the new bedding and 100% agree about the canvas in the bedroom, I looks very expensive! Your boys are growing like weeds.. are they standing in soil at night time 😂. Beautiful family. Have a great week.
I love your family and content. You've given me so many ideas! I wish I had you sewing and decorating talents. I'm always up for new recipes too. Those steaks look like boneless NY strip steaks which aren't supper tender. But it does look delicious.
Love those sheets and they knew duvet as well as the print is amazing. Beautiful colors.❤ thank you for sharing. I don’t know if you let anybody know about the pillows you had they look like good sleeping pillows if you can share them, that would be great.
I never a duvet! Seems like a pain to wash and put back in cover. Isn’t a duvet hot in the summer? I live in Florida also, I just use a thin quilt. Comforter seems too heavy in the summer.
Hi Lynette, I was wondering how your sisters are doing? I love your content when your sisters are on, and also miss seeing Nick! I enjoy all of your vlogs!
Hi Lynette, Google putting duvet cover on Google.it is very easy. I do it all the time now. You can use small safety pins on the duvet corners to keep your duvet in place, or just sew in the strings to tie. Those sheets are awesome. We have the same ones. They wear very well. In regards to the steaks. They looked good to me, and I am told I often overcook meat. If it is red inside, it makes me worry. I have tried marinating the steaks overnight in the fridge, and that helped. I don't bbq hardly at all. I have bbq'd a lot in the past, though. Can your children be any more adorable? My gosh how sweet are those girls. Harper, making the sound for the swimming fish, tickled me. Precious. I love that you bring them to the library. Those games were also very cool. The picture over your bed does look much better. Sweet dreams to you both.
I like your new Duvet and the color of your sheet set 😊 I fought for some time while trying to get my Duvet together 😅 I went to Aldi's the other day and also picked up the mini cucumbers...they are very good!!

Yes! I also struggle keeping a bun in! I thought I was the only one. Everyone seems to put it up and keep it up so easily! Tutorial would be nice.
I use a scrunchie to put around the bun to secure it before pinning ladies xx♥️

usually medium on inexpensive meat. still cooking after removing from pan.I would have sliced into strips before cooking ,like a stir fry.
That was a lot of groceries for the price! Great job!
I didn't cook steak very good either until my friend told me to try it the air fryer for 10 min turned out good maybe that will help
