Superator looks like he’s already begun transforming, just looks too heavy up top and knees always look like they’re buckling in. Have not seen him in hand though, Grinder I have.
Winner for me is...Reximus Prime still. The largest and most in scale with the others in the MP line while in Dino mode. In bot mode, he is a bit bigger than MP Ultra Magnus, as he should be according to the scale chart. As for aesthetic, MP 08 mold is still the most toon accurate imo, so Reximus wins this as well. He is also well made, just like these 2.
Fingers On Plastic you may already know, there are 3 versions of him. Metallic silver comic book colors, metallic silver G1 colors, and version 3.0 is G1 gray 100% toon accurate colors. That’s the one I held out for. Very happy with him.

As someone who's all in on Giga's Dino's (Waiting on Metallic Grimlock!) I must say IMO I actually like FT's Dino mode over GP's. To me it just feels like GP's T-Rex mode is a little too busy/alot goin on. Yes I know the other GP Dino's had the details also but to me it doesn't seem so busy. For Bot mode 100% Giga for me. FT's looks like a teenage girl wearing Leggings with Ugg boots on lol.
Gosh! Giga Wins! Again..your a Gigagroupie!! ..mann! The Gigapower wins hands down! No question. The proportions on that Grinder is way off. To be honest I think even the Reximus Prime oversized Grimlock KO is better! 👊😹👍⭐ I wish I could smash the thumbs up 100 times!
Its videos like this that make me appreciate point for point clear and concise reviewers like Bobby Skullface. I'm not trying to be a dick but I've learned nothing from your experience with two bots I couldn't pick up myself from pictures of both online.
@@FingersOnPlastic no problem. I assume you make these videos as a way to inform people about your experience with the figures. Some things you can touch on in subsequent comparisons may be the sculpt, build/materials, paint, scale, articulation, accessories, etc. I apologize if I came off harshly.
They're very close in Dino mode.. Giga has that squared off chest and a bunch of just made up paint apps like those yellow circles near the jetpack? What's that about. Bot mode to me gigapower really loses it all they did was up the chest size 20% arms 30% crotch 10% and liberally sprinkled meaningless detail.
I think the paint apps are a little carried away in Dino mode but work in robot. He’s a bit like an Xmas tree with too much tinsel! I do think the robot mode is amazing.

The ggas I have in Dino, but, only because they are too tall for the shelf in robot. Lol
Fanstoys bot. Giga. Dinomode.
So it looks like Fanstoys has the better Dino mode, but the Gigapower has the robot mode going for it.

I love Grinder! I have the G2 blue one and a grey one signed by Gregg Berger. GP Grimlock is nice, but the proportions are unique.

I missed out getting Reximus otherwise he would have been in here. He would have taken Dino mode for me, but not robot.

Plastic is great on both. No complaints at all, but, giga Grimlock in Dino mode has iffy ankles.
