Your content is SO IMPORTANT and your insights are invaluable to me. I still won't buy these bags. I respect my finances too much to pay for a look over QUALITY. I already have things at different levels that have stood the test of time and I WANT MORE of that. Please continue to let us know who to look out for. Polene just stands for poor quality to me when I hear the name and it's a SHAME that LVMH would invest in them and not raise their standard! It makes their group look bad as a whole IMHO. Thanks again for your quality content!
Polene is low hanging fruit for LVMH they only need to do crank up the marketing, open more stores and cut all costs and they will make a tonne of money!
Good morning Anesu, I am so excited to see this video this morning, I love the shape of Polene bags but decided against them on your advice. I sincerely hope that they get the quality together.
Our Queen Anesu putting the peasants who masquerade as aristocrats in their rightful places (Polene & LVMH)! 👑 I really enjoyed your fire in talking about the quality of Polene. I have never been overly tempted by this brand but clearly missed the boat anyway. The styles may be aesthetically pleasing but that wonky leather and edge coating speaks volumes ☠ I really appreciated that you commented on private equity dealings and didn't just report generically that LVMH made the investment (like most TH-camrs). Always intelligent, thank you! ☺
I'm saving for a Joseph Duclos bag. I have already purchased the Maison Guibert Allure bag in Dove and enjoy the sleek simplicity. The bag is wearing beautifully even with frequent use.
I love my Polene bag that I purchase for in 2018 now that same bag is double the price and more. The quality is great, however that was before social media took over the brand.
I’m in Milan and got a stunning pink croc mini bag from Colombo. I told the SA I heard about them from you and she immediately knew who you were. I could have bought 5 bags in there. It was a struggle to pick my favorite. Thanks for the recommendation.
@@SoAnesu Thank you for your kind words. I wish I could have bought more. It’s worth another trip to Milan lol. Do you think I should put a twilly on the handle? I’ve never had a croc bag before. I won’t wear lotion or perfume.
@@SoAnesu I totally agree. I don’t like the twilly’s either but I’m always afraid I’ll ruin the handles even though I’m careful. I’ll just be extra careful so I don’t have to put one on. She’s tiny so there isn’t much handle anyway. I can’t wait to go back and buy the next size up. Thanks again for bringing Colombo to my attention.
I like Polene's unique bag designs, and have purchased a range of styles about two years ago. No issues personally with wear and tear, but I have a lot of bags, which I rotate. My last purchase was around 15 months ago, and I noticed edge peeling off after only one day of use. However, their customer service was horrendous and when I complained, they 1) took 2 to 3 weeks to get back to me and 2) told me since I wore the bag one day it's not eligible for return. No grace or consideration given to the customer, and I have not wanted to purchase from them since. I second wanting to hear from you about Fleuron. I can't decide which style and color, since they have too many choices!
Thank you for your insight. I’ve been intrigued by the bags for a few years, but never made the purchase. I’ll have to stop by the shop in Soho to see the bags for myself. It might cure me or my desire to purchase the bags 😄Also, on the heels of this announcement, it was recently reported that LVMH and L’Oréal have purchased a minority stake in The Row. Will you discuss this business deal in another video?
I bought the nano numero une in 2022. Hardly used and the edging was chipped (I used it maybe 12 times). Disappointed with the quality. Also the leather didn't feel very soft. Bought a Guibert Allure bag recently and that is much better quality.
I am a fan of the Polene Mokki bag, though I am still investigating the size/height/wear ratio. There are weak areas in that bag, granted, but not as much as the Numéro Neuf in all of the sizes, to my mind. At a glance, I thought the weak areas on this bag are the bottom edges. I never considered the handles. In a few months time, i would imagine these issues you've mentioned be more common. Unfortunately! LVHM should have waited to see how the product fared. They, to my mind, bought it too soon..
LVMH is not concerned about the quality they like the fact that it’s fast become a popular brand and they can help take it to the next level and make a tonne of money in the process.
I've bought a second hand, almost new Polène numero dix in black grained leather. After using it maybe twice, the edge paint has already started to come off, peeling and flaking everywhere. Never again Polene!

Good morning! I'm not convinced the quality will go up. The bags are selling like hot cakes with poor quality there isn't an incentive to improve.

“Peasants who masquerade as aristocrats!” One to remember - thank you for watching as always.

Good to hear and may you continue to enjoy your bag.
The edge paint on my first Polene bag was a total mess. I believe they’re overhyped because of social media influencers.
The edge coating has been one of the biggest let downs...

I'm reliably informed leather the leather when the brand first launched was amazing and then social media took over!
I would like to hear your opinion on fleureon, you have become one of my favourite channels to keep up with. Keep up the good work🌹

I had heard about both. Never purchased from the brand. I like your perspective on the topic. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching.

Then you won’t get any oil or perfume on the handle. What ever you prefer… i personally am not a twilly person. I would enjoy the croc as is.

Thank you for this analysis. I’ve been to the Paris shop, but never made a purchase. Something was off.
Stay away!
Hahah love your pep talk 😂 suck it up, go and have a look at it ❤
When you have a channel crazy things need to be done in the name of content creation!
Thanks to you, my mind has been made up. I’ll be heading to Le Tanneur as opposed to Polene!!😉
Please do 🙃

Absolutely loved your analysis as always. The bags are, however, a hard pass for me. 😊

Awww interesting one. Sure will do.
True. The only good thing about Polene at this point is their unique design.
Couldn't agree more!

We like happy endings on this channel! Long may you enjoy your bag.
What is the point of the feet if the corners wear? Owners do not have care on the details...
My point exactly! Doing things for the sake of it but they haven’t been carefully thought through.

@@SoAnesuthen the popularity, like the quality, wouldn’t be sustained. This’ll be interesting to watch.
It certainly will!

Yes, never again!
At a much lower price point, I would go for Massimo Dutti bags! Superior quality, minimalist and affordable.
Thank you for the recommendatiion.
I wouldn’t consider buying one of those bags for a single second! Cheap and nasty!
