What's not to like about this episode? It's Gene Simmons! He's an older person who comes from a generation that trusts that the government vaccines are safe he doesn't really know any better. Give him a break. It's cool Adam got him on the show. It was a good conversation! Right?
I totally enjoyed it. Laughed at every stupid joke. I’ll give him a pass on the earlier brainwashing. The next few years will be very educational for a lot of folks.
Did you really just interview gene Simmons and then talk about being honest about your views and the whole Covid and political crap going in? So you just sat with gene like he did nothing wrong and then talked to the next guy complaining about people just like gene. 😂wtf is going on
Ya, that's called a professional. Adam's job is to be a good host and provide entertaining content. He has views but knows when to push and how to be appropriate and respectful to people he disagrees with. Try it sometime Dipshit.
At the end of the day though, Adam knows how to play the Hollywood game. I agree that even if Gene is a hero of his, the Truth Yeller should've asked him if he wants to walk back any of his Covid comments, but you can bet that if it wasn't brought up, there were pre-conditions.

Gene came from nothing and hugely appreciated everything that America had to offer, especially the opportunity to make something of himself - which of course he did, in spades! Nothing was given to him or his band. Lots of talent, hard work, ingenuity, and perseverance, resulted in kiss, climbing the ladder and making it to the top. People threw tomatoes and many other things at kiss when they first started, but that just made them work harder to read better songs and become better musicians, as well as put on a better show. Over the years they spent millions on their shows in order to add a whole new level of excitement to their concerts that no other band had done. Few if any of you out there could do anything even close to what gene was able to accomplish in his lifetime. So he deserves our respect and not the hate and stupid from the many young tweedle dumbs out there who obviously know nothing about him and what he went through to get ready at today. Rock on forever, Gene!!

Yes, certain things we did we didn’t have to do regarding Covid. Adam never brings up what was happening in hospitals. My wife works as a traveling nurse, and in many places they were stacking bodies in refrigerated trucks. The main issue was about making sure the entire healthcare system did not collapse. Note: I did have two close friends who died, one was a marathoner, neither had any pre-existing conditions. One was 64 and the other was 35. Sure mostly old people or people with pre-existing conditions, or both, died. Some younger folks died and it wasn’t many, not important until it’s a member of your family. Note: The CDC’s China headcount had shrunk to around 14 staffers, down from approximately 47 people in 2017. A President Donald Trump decision! The cuts in staff included epidemiologists and other health professionals. Hello!
Covid was a serious disease. The problem is there would be no such thing as a "victory" against it. We could have protected your friends from death before it got out of Wuhan, not after it got out. Many of the subsequent measures made it worse.
Years ago when I was in a drug treatment facility where clothing was donated and clients would take on stuff, a group came to our facility for a live-speaker meeting one night. Seated in a chair was a very black man in his 40s with short hair, and he was wearing an orange and black football jersey that had KISS ARMY on the front and back -- and which I automatically assumed he had acquired as a donated clothing item. Yes, because the man was very black and with short hair, I immediately was sure that he did not know anything about rock or what the wording on the jersey meant and started to volunteer my explanation to him about it. The guy got pissed and spun around in his chair and snarled at me, "Man! Whachu know about Kiss? Man, I'm from DETROIT!!!" That was the end of that conversation! 😂

Adam, I’ve written to you in the past about the power of daily brisk walking, I guess you didn’t take me seriously. You’re obviously a Kiss fan, look at Gene Simmons. PS- Please, I beg of you, check with your Doctor before starting this process. I suspect in some people it can cause an event. Practicing the art of daily brisk walking is that powerful. When you're a peasant, the contrast between people over 70 where you are and people over 70 in Hollywood is just bizarre. Here, we've got your boiler plate old people ... wearing old people clothes with slippers on the wrong feet, with grey messy hair(if they're lucky), sad, confused, or plain gone in the head. But in Hollywood, you've got the exact same old bodies, but with all these grotesque affectations ... fake hair styled and dyed as if they're 30, ... wearing inappropriate clothes and shoes like they're 30 ... using words like they're 30. It's like me turning up at a super car meet-up, with cardboard cut-outs sellotaped over my 21 year-old Volkswagen Bora and a grainy cassette of fake engine sounds playing on a loop, seriously expecting to pass it off as a brand new Lamborghini Huracan instead of the knackered old shit heap it is. Still - good interview. p.s. the CIA missed the Velvet Revolution??? Are you fucking KIDDING me? The CIA/NSA were behind ALL of the colour revolutions, from eastern europe through the middle east, to Maidan in 2014.
Sorry, but Todd Rose doesn't know what's been going on in the world for the last 100 years. Get Mike Benz or Daniel Sheehan on Adam - they'll set you straight brother.
I had no idea that Subaru developed attack helicopters for the 'Japan Ground Self Defense Force'....that's tight! 👍...I wish my Subaru was an Attack Helicopter! 💭💥🚁
Mitsubishi built the Zeros that attacked Pearl Harbor.
@@vasil12361 Interesting 🤔 ....I was wondering what ever happened to the Mitsubishi Eclipse? It changed from a 2-door Sports car to a utility crossover and nobody seemed to notice
Gene is the man. Love him
For the birthday cocktail parties, do the celebrities pick the list or does Adam and crew?
Definitely not the guest...probably not Adam either, just the crew, probably Dawson.
Nobody LOVES GENE more than GENE 🧬 ❤😘
Bottom line, unless you were there, in the 70’s, it’s hard to grasp how huge Kiss was… I was in middle school when I saved up enough money to buy “Rock and Roll Over” in the winter of 1976. (“Destroyer” was sold out). Still one of my favorite albums. Gene is a marginal song writer and a very underrated bass player. Love Gene but this interview gets side tracked too often. Keep up the awesome work.
I really thought this was a rerun of the last time Gene came on, bored, and they talked about Hungarian foods and names. Did they not do this same talk the last time?
It’s Chaim Witz
I wish women still weighed 100lbs! I’d even settle for 120lbs!
Such a humble and selfless man...
Great show. Gene is a great bassist, a rock icon and a national treasure.
I'm in my mid-40's and love bands like Megadeth and Tool. But I'm also a Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson fan. Wide range. Never understood the KISS love. What am I missing?
You’re missing the fact you’re a knob factor
Kiss is trash ...I play guitar going on 60 years, and that is the bottom of the barrel 😅
Go listen to early vinyl..it's cool..not the circus show..there's some good tunes
Great show!!!
I think the Carnation Revolution overthrew the dictator of Portugal without bloodshed as well.
Hows that medical experiment you volunteered for working out, buddy?
Loved under the Trump admin when Gene addressed the country on his life and Israel
Is Gene SImmons the guy with the tongue? I know I have Google but I don't wanna know that bad.
His music knowledge is amazing.
Yes
damn 74.. fucking guy looks amazing, and still sounds good.... DEM FUCKING JEWISH GENES... PUN-INTENDED
1 hour 25 minutes Tom Rose starts, the Velvet Revolution is at 1hour 43 minutes
Gene always looked to nickle and dime. Basically, if you're a fan, KISS your money goodbye.
Did Gene just say don't poke the bear‽ what's next, an AARP commercial?
Poke the bear as a common saying in the English language is a figure of speech, what does that have to do with age I'm young I know what that means it means don't poke the bear cuz it's going to eat the s*** out of you has big claws tear your face off
Sad that Adams admins censor his fans comments. Not cool
Mole people!! Loved watching that on Saturday local channel horror program! Then they would rerun it on Sunday afternoon! So not to horrific for daytime!
Why cut out the music pieces?
