I also bought a PJ dump trailer, although I got the 14' model. It was a serious upgrade from a previous dump trailer I had.
My only complaint with PJ was although they have plenty of grease zerts, they did not grease them at the factory and I did not have a reason to open the doors that hold the ramps till after a Michigan winter (lots of road salt) and the doors are for all intents, are rusted shut. Get a grease gun out as soon as you bring it home. Otherwise, a great trailer.

Sometimes you just have to jack it, if you have a problem getting it in the hole.......

After 9 months of ownership how do you like it?. I have heard mixed reviews about PJ. Some say they are still one of the best others say no quality control and no longer a good trailer. Thanks for any info.

I like mine so far, no issues. It pulls well. They did some upgrades too like a heavier jack and side steps. Everything has worked fine on mine. Im sure with anything some will get with issues. I keep mine garaged when not in use so that will keep a lot of wear from happening as fast than others. I don't have any complaints on mine so far!

@@thatslumlordlife I am starting the process of researching brands and prices. Midsota would be my first choice, but they are so expensive. PJ has a 16' 20K gvw DE bumper pull dump trailer with 10k Dexter oil bath torsion axles, I beam frame, 7 gauge floor and sides for about 20 grand out the door. Thank you for posting a video of your trailer and the feedback.

I’ve owned mine for 2 years. Zero issues. I use mine mainly as a dumpster for house remodels but I’ve also used it for hauling gravel, dirt and heavy equipment. Excellent trailer. I moved from California to Pittsburgh last summer and I towed the trailer cross country. Made the trip in under 40 hours fully loaded with tools and equipment. I’ve pulled lots of trailers, the PJ is the best in my opinion. Very safe trailer.

Good video where are you located? it's a real bummer, that exact trailer not counting the tire upgrade is 5k more here in Arizona.

Dang, here it was about $3800 cheaper last year. Things are for sure going up. Been looking at a box blade and it went up $300 since last year. I'm in Iowa. I purchased it in Cantral Iowa. These trailers are made somewhere in TX. Might be worth it to call around and travel over a 5k difference.
