Thanks for consitlely posting GR content. I believe you are the only who is still going with the GR content. Everyone else I followed. Pretty much stopped.
@ArthaxtaDaVince777 for $80 more than the MST v2 ($880) you could have the SXTH intercooler ($499) and the SXTH complete inlet back intake kit ($459). Could make it even cheaper going with the K&N intake that is getting 18hp. If the intercooler can mitigate the IAT I think that may be the best bang for the buck personally.
@TheHoodOrnament Yeah SXTH is solid, I would definitely go with them over eventuri, but MST is offering a closed box design for only $880, that's different from the others.
@LifeSOSlive I believe the performance and cool air is there just minimal sound. MST intake i think is one if not the best at this price range. I was iffy about it when it was open box, but then got really excited because of the closed boxed now I'm back to being iffy lmao
@8:56 - I went with Stratified to tune my GRC. $630 for ECUTEK dongle + vehicle license. $450 for 93 octane tune. $100 for E30 tune. $20 shipping. Total = $1,200 USD. I really wish you had a datalogger to see what IATs you are getting. My Eventuri intake runs anywhere from 1 to 3 degrees F above ambient at the end of a 3rd gear pull.
I had the SXTH element and didn’t like it. Didn’t even include the back turbo pipe and cost as much as the MST one. My filter even crunched in on itself. Check engine light even cam on with their fix.
I have the Sxth intake and while it’s been working fine I cannot wait to get ride of it and never buy anything from that company again. Everything they make feels so poorly made
@@JohnnyTranJTP I mean that price depends on who you go to, but I mean if it means comparing numbers then yeah, who can say it's the best if you can't prove its performance? Or actually do an apples to apples comparison?
Please tell me what AWD dyno you go to that will charge you less than $150 per session for 3 pulls? And and who actually cares about the numbers just throwing on an intake will do without a tune. Everyone knows by now all intakes for the GR C and GR Y are only about a 10hp gain.
@@JamesTran04 Even with the air inlet duct that feeds air to the lower portion of the factory air box where the flap opens? I got a solid respectable 15-wheel horsepower increase, So I don't think what y'all are saying makes it that bad
Hands down the best one on the market right now!
I agree! 💯
I disagree 😂

i been waiting for this update!
Hopefully it answered any questions you may have had.
$700 for this intake is a great price!
Agreed!
Too bad every place stateside is selling it at $880.
Yeah the eventuri is $1600, which is insane. This is the best bang for the buck.

Best Intake out right now!
This is probably the best intake design out right now especially for the price.
How are you liking the MST Downpipe?
Is there a turbo inlet pipe out there that works with this intake?
I want the MST v2 with HKS red honey comb filter. Will the filter fit???
I take looks awesome 👌
🙏🏼
Cons of removing the plastic cover? Would that give it more sound?
It would probably give it more sound. But then it would just be sucking the hot air in from the engine bay.
Do you get better gas mileage with this?
Is it any louder than the stock intake setup?
Not by very much.
Another question have you had any issues when going to the dealer or you do all your maintenance yourself?
I take care of all the maintenance myself
Do you hear the BOV at all?
It's faint. Radio has to be down but you still can hear it a bit.
@antdo I'm so torn, I love the concept. But I love sounds too.
@@AcostK26Agreed. I want better performance, cool air and more sounds. Nothing seems to be offering this.

What's wrong with stock intake? I'm stock with an ssqv4 vta - no cel
What seat cover do have?
They are Recaro Pole Position seats.

Typical Ricer
Pretty cool looking toy car you got there. Try and get a big boy car like my Toyota Supra.
That’s so weird, in your other comments you said you had one of these car??? No life lmao
Still not worth it vs the SXTH element Intake. Esp with the CEL issue ongoing
CEL hasn't been an issue for months now all companies include a bypass for it 🤦♂️
SXTH Element $500. MST $700.... Yeah not hard to figure out the MST is the better deal for the price.
Nothing SXTH element sells is good. Their Arm rest is trash. And their intake filters collapse in on themselves.

So you never took it to the dyno to have it baselined and then what it performed after you installed the intake. What the heck man
And are you going to pay the $300 for the Dyno sessions?
