The funniest thing is that when I can't remember the name of the song, I have 'Len elevator' in my TH-cam search history and it comes up. I always find myself laughing at that lmao
I have to say, the Kagamine twins really seem to have the most powerful voices out of Vocaloid. I admire how Len basically loudly yells the lyrics on this song, given how it's clearly about today's society and it's like he's trying to spread the word.
I still remember watching this when I was a little kid, I'm glad to say that I still find this song a masterpiece, along with all the vocaloid songs. Really glad that i had the opportunity to hear this again.
In high school id watch this obsessively when doing homework. And now if i need to remember to an obscure math problem i forgot ages ago i listen to this song
I think what happened was Len was stuck in his privileged life, the elevator/his life continued to rise while others' in the world weren't as lucky, and he wanted to help them, but he kept being told that he couldn't, by who is revealed to be himself. He told himself that that's just how life works and that there's no hope, but then he realizes he can jump, so he goes back in time, way back to the dawn of time, where he creates a new world full of happiness for all.
My theory is that Len has died. He was in an elevator going to heaven and miku was the angel sending him their. His life was very difficult and horrible and he couldn't rest in peace with the world and the living still in fear and destruction even though he was dead and going to a better place. The angel then turns into a different version of himself and tells him how to save everyone and himself. Len then jumps off the elevator to find a glowing sphere which he can fix everything from his childhood to adulthood. Then Lens child spirit can rest in peace and go to heaven. :)
This is a song from the Saga "The End of the World", in the first song we see a teenager Len that apparently ,provoked a world war. then, we see another Len (some years later) that is in a relationship with Rin and they decide to go under a treatment that will make them androids, the treatment works but, both of them end without feelings. In the next song, we see some younger Len and Rin that had been taken care of by their parents, (I should mention that this is 50 years after that, and that now every human being besides Len, Rin and their family is an android) and the kids escape until, they find a place where they remember all their past lives (in that over we see songs from another artists like Paper plane, etc) Rin then decides to save him by sending him to that elevator, Len sees all the mistakes and suffering he had in his past lives and, takes action and changes his past. The Len we see in the end, is the one from the fist song...
After all these years I still absolutely adore coming back to this song💛💛. It’s just so freaking beautiful and powerful. Likely one of the first songs I also listened to regarding VOCALOID…
It’s 3 am and I randomly thought of this song for the first time in nearly a decade. P good shit Too bad I have no idea what they’re saying since the annotations r gone
My theory about this song is that Len is looking out onto the world as a privileged person in a middle/upper-class part of the world. He's shown the horrors and the ruts that people are in and have been for so long, and he believes that he's in a never-stopping elevator that the outside world could "live" without. However, he realizes that he can make a difference in the dystopian/apocalyptic world, and make it better.
I really did get goosebumps. Meaningful, beautiful, impacts a powerful message--everybody needs to see and watch this. This isn't about fandom anymore. It's about knowing what this video is telling us. I really liked this!
It's what happened to the elevater girl. At first, (just going to use names here) it was miku wearing a hat with her hair in a different style. later, right before len jumps, the hat falls down and the appearance of miku glitches to Len. teal -> blond XD
Missy Crenshaw oh... ................. -facedesk- I'M SO STUPID XD I thought... -sigh- yeah, that is most likely what they said... GUYZ/PEOPLE WHO SEEZ THIS: IGNORE MY LAST COMMENT D:
i remember sneaking up behind my older sister in the family office to watch her watch this video when it came out. didnt realize that it actually wasnt very good lol but the nostalgia is all there
The way I understand it, and realize that this is an interpretation, and there can always been many interpretations to something, is that while things may be wrong in the world, you will not realize it at first. You will realize yourself and your life, and that is normal; that is not selfish. But once you do realize it, you have to what you believe to be right, but you can't regret that you didn't act earlier. It takes wisdom to realize this.
I suddenly burst into tears when I read the English translation. Humans are truly doomed, with our new devices, and so blind as to what is happening around them in the world itself. All the things humankind has done over the years since the beginning of time. Life is like an elevator, always escalating, onto newer things that may be a horrible change for humankind... Or it can be a beautiful, good change for humankind.
i think i understand this now! both the people he sees are images of himself, and he sees the world as it grows older throughout history, then hes embracing the world, then hes changing it throughout time. len represents god in the song
AHHH, thank god I remembered this song before I chose a song for my Music project in a class.. We were supposed to choose a song about war or peace and translate the lyrics into our own words. Now to put the romaji, translation, and my translation of the translation together on 1-2 pieces of paper..
This song is so beautiful. Its much deeper then most people realize. It really touched me and brought tears to my eyes. Go ahead and call me whatever you want but we're falling farther and farther into a black hole. All the hunger and pain people go through. Its terrible...
The song is so simple people. The World, Life, and Society itself has changed so much over the course of people living on this earth. Basically in the end you could either choose to live in the cruel real world or choose to make it your worth; change the world for the better. [on a side note, Len looks adorable cx]
Came back here and realized how accurate this currently is. I once posted a long comment here about my theory of this trilogy and that theory of mine hasn't changed one bit.
Awesome song! and as much as I hate to admit it, so true, in an ironic sort of way. the part about technology was ironic because well...Vocaloid in general is that "always advancing improving" thing. anyways, I got distracted, a GREAT song and of course ((as always)) Len is amazing :3
It hits heavy!! I remember listening to this song when I was 11 and didn’t understand a lot of what Len was singing about. 25 now and seeing the genocide unfold is so terrifying 🍉💪
This........is.........AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! The first part of the song is soooooo sad, but this ending is perfect! I wish Len could have been reunited with Rin, though. Well, at least he created a new and peaceful world. I bet Rin and their parents are totally proud of him for granting their wish!
so if i get it right, the story behind this song is that len goes back to see what exactly went wrong in the history of humans for everything to be destroyed in the song before this.
The elevator represents mankind evolving and changing and always going up until you simply can't go up anymore. "I'm so greedy because I keep going up", because the world is trying so hard to evolve and solve problems and make everything better for itself. No matter how lovely you think the time you live in now is, you can't stop it changing and growing. And once you reach the peak of civilization, or the top of the elevator, it's "Time to make a new world", or go back down.
I think what the elevator represents (judging from the song) Is it's a representation of a cycle of greed and ambition to always get higher while ignoring those below you, and the nearly inescapable cycle this creates.
I love how in the very end, len's looking at the audience with a face that says, "Just pointin' out the obvious, you all need to do something cause, hey, I'm only a computer program!"
The funniest thing is that when I can't remember the name of the song, I have 'Len elevator' in my TH-cam search history and it comes up. I always find myself laughing at that lmao
lol same
SHUT UP LITERALLY ME TOO AJSJFMGLG
So i'm not alone then. I literally typed "len elevator song" to find this video. Nice!
This..this is exactly what I do
I legit just wrote that 🤣🤣 to hear it rn
I have to say, the Kagamine twins really seem to have the most powerful voices out of Vocaloid. I admire how Len basically loudly yells the lyrics on this song, given how it's clearly about today's society and it's like he's trying to spread the word.
im rewatching old vocaloid songs and man this song is still pretty good

@@JeayK definitely a classic thats for sure 😎😎
Sometimes I think that they just don’t make vocaloid songs that hit this hard anymore
FACTS
kikuo stills does, spiral was really good
The art changes like five times in the video XD
Its a compilation of several different artists.
I never even noticed that when I first saw this years ago
I still remember watching this when I was a little kid, I'm glad to say that I still find this song a masterpiece, along with all the vocaloid songs. Really glad that i had the opportunity to hear this again.

I feel like this song is more relevant now than it was then
I feel so old. Going down a rin/len childhood rabbit hole. I love it
I randomly remembered this song in the shower and started sobbing, its been around 10 years since I last listened to it 🥲
This brings back memories. I remember my 6 year old self watching this a good 3 hours out of everyday. I scared my family xD

Sssaammmeee
You're probably 19 years old now. Am I right?
In high school id watch this obsessively when doing homework. And now if i need to remember to an obscure math problem i forgot ages ago i listen to this song

Awesommmmeeeeeeee
Well, that's an excellent interpretation of the themes and message, but far from correct as far as the literal narrative
The new MilLENium.... Damn u Len
The last time I heard this song I was in 7th grade. I graduate from university this semester. Thanks for making this song a part of my life.
Goddamn that was some good nostalgia right at the beginning. I could remember back when this vid had subs. Can't believe it's been 11 years...
My theory is that Len has died. He was in an elevator going to heaven and miku was the angel sending him their. Allen Avadonia everyone's like oh but me am like "THAT DUMBASS STARTED WORLD WAR THREE?!?"
Thanks
Anima Annorum Sapientia I’m honestly not surprised if he died
2021 now. I didn't realize it was already 12 years long. Omg, the nostalgia 🤣
Omg me right now going through a vocaloid playlist. I was OBSESSED in middle school. Haven't listened to these in years
After all these years I still absolutely adore coming back to this song💛💛. It’s just so freaking beautiful and powerful. Likely one of the first songs I also listened to regarding VOCALOID…
I remember hearing this 10 yeras ago-... so much nostalgia is hitting me
Man I finally came back to this song since forever. I can't get the English translation anymore since annotations don't exist anymore. XD
It’s 3 am and I randomly thought of this song for the first time in nearly a decade. P good shit
Too bad I have no idea what they’re saying since the annotations r gone
The animation is so smooth and the elevator scenes are really adorable for some reason >w
That was so awesome! For some reason, this song made my legs feel heavy...Wierd. :/
My theory about this song is that Len is looking out onto the world as a privileged person in a middle/upper-class part of the world. It's been 9 years since I since this!? The ending still makes me cry ^^ I never understood why this hasn't been more shared with "powerful" people
Oh my Len, that's among the most accurate analogies I've read so far! 0.0 Bravo!
I bet she told him she was pregnant ...
LOOL
I really did get goosebumps. Meaningful, beautiful, impacts a powerful message--everybody needs to see and watch this. This isn't about fandom anymore. It's about knowing what this video is telling us. I really liked this!
I wonder what the Elevator Girl said to make Len jump...
It's what happened to the elevater girl. At first, (just going to use names here) it was miku wearing a hat with her hair in a different style. later, right before len jumps, the hat falls down and the appearance of miku glitches to Len. teal -> blond XD
I think they said this: "Go you idiot!"
Missy Crenshaw oh... ................. -facedesk- I'M SO STUPID XD I thought... -sigh- yeah, that is most likely what they said... GUYZ/PEOPLE WHO SEEZ THIS: IGNORE MY LAST COMMENT D:
Yeah, honestly when I read it, I was confused XD
cookielover1234 I'm sooorryyy >.< - sigh - has that ever happened to you before?
omgs i was looking for this for years ty for the upload ^-^
I'm laughing. Not because of the video, but because of the people that say it doesn't have subs. They're CC subs, guys XD
They're annotations actually. CC subs appear at the bottom of the video. Annotations appear anywhere. Sorry if i sound rude.... just sayin XD
No there aren’t... I had to watch another video that had real subs
And so, Len turned everything in the world into flowers
nostalgia!!!
Even MORE nostalgia!
Miss Scribble Doodle even more nostalgia
idk why I love this vid so much compared to other ones of Len. This stands out :3
2023 gang
lets gooooo
This is one of the most beautiful Vocaloid songs~ "Time to change the world," gave me freaking chills.
rip annotations
My inner middle schooler rejoices.
Omg in the beginning with Len's head down I thought he was Meliodas
Why yeah....
i remember sneaking up behind my older sister in the family office to watch her watch this video when it came out. didnt realize that it actually wasnt very good lol but the nostalgia is all there
Hey crossdressing!
the sped up len jumping out of the elevator scene will always make me laugh
Is this the sqeuel of another video?
Yup. Faint wish. :3
i thought someone said it was not connecteed to faint wish?
Mistress Meloetta Buuut... It IS... XD
Laura Kim But KagamineAl1 said Wait, doesn't this take place after a Faint Wish
Mistress Meloetta I'm so confused! I thought it did! someone told me it did, and the elevator scene's the same!
FINALLY!!!!! someone else understands the world i want!!! and what is so messed up in this WORLD!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! (the song and writer!!)
Len: Miku, why do you keep making me feel bad?! Stop!! ;A;
Miku: ...
Len: ?
Miku: Len, I AM you.
Len: O_O
This is the song that made me become a fan of Len. I've loved him ever since.

TwT
Len and Rin's songs always manage to smack my emotions off a cliff.
AND +1 FOR LEN BEING IN A DRESS, AGAIN!
The artist makes len look great in the beginning, gets lazy in the middle, and makes him look great again at the end
i always loved this song for to things Len doesn't die at the end and this video is so amazing
OHMY GOD WAS SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG FOR DAYS
few words describe this accurately and they are beautiful and very, very deep and accurate
and it never stops just keeps going up. Just like humanity
Len, you're the reason why I'm obsessed with technology.
i think i understand this now! both the people he sees are images of himself, and he sees the world as it grows older throughout history, then hes embracing the world, then hes changing it throughout time. len represents god in the song

Thanks! Ill be sure to listen to them all!
Len in glasses and he's not singing SPICE!......my life is complete
The part where the people launch the missels is so dramatic! I LUV IT!!!
This song has a valuable lesson in life. I hope all of you realize that and learn from it.
2023 and its still going strong ✊🏼 making me cry everytime
a masterpiece, when you realize what the song is about
I just love how it say new Mil len nium and all the people who len interacts with are different versions of len
Came back here and realized how accurate this currently is. I once posted a long comment here about my theory of this trilogy and that theory of mine hasn't changed one bit.
Awesome song! and as much as I hate to admit it, so true, in an ironic sort of way.

Miku works that elevator like a pro. -presses up button- -entire universes implode at the awesomeness-
Gakupo looked pretty cool too
I cant stop listening to this song...
Damn... why do i always get chills down my spine when i hear this song
this song is too good for someone like me to listen to
but i cant stop
I think its main point is that although there is suffering, progress, and (subsequent) failure, life continues to go on, no matter what.
Man, listening to this on 2023 when Israel just executing their seemingly last effort to demolish Palestine & Gaza hits different
It hits heavy!! I remember listening to this song when I was 11 and didn’t understand a lot of what Len was singing about. 25 now and seeing the genocide unfold is so terrifying
🍉💪
i like Len's face when he smiles and the face before that its near the end
ya made it to 100 yay infact you almost made it to 2000
yay len is alive
this is basically the egg theory hang on
Len hugging the world in the end...I can feel his warmth...those....skinny and slightly wet arms holding me.
I swear this series of these video's are the only video's that make me cry. I wish I had a sibling like Rin. ;^; I'd love her forever
Why do I feel a connection between this song and the concept of Samsara? The endless wheel of death and rebirth?
OMG what a the most wonderfull song !!
love this song
this song is an epic win. I want to cry but I'm too stunned by it's awsomeness
Every time they put Miku in a Video and has her voice echo it send chills down my spine o.o
Anyone notice the cage at 2:07, its real quick. I watched this 10 times before even noticing.
i love this song so much!!!
Beautiful in an incredibly awesome way. I have been trying to make the point this song is making since I was 13 years old.

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

And once you reach the peak of civilization, or the top of the elevator, it's "Time to make a new world", or go back down.
I just remembered this song!
How does Len stay so calm going down so fast!? I'd be screaming my head off! x__x
I think what the elevator represents (judging from the song) Is it's a representation of a cycle of greed and ambition to always get higher while ignoring those below you, and the nearly inescapable cycle this creates.
its songs lik these dat prove how much bettr vocaloid songs r than da stuff we listen 2 today. we need more songs lik these in america
This song can easily explain how life is today...
Life is like the elevator in this video, you cant stop it. even if 'your' life stops, everyone else's wont.
this....this also almost made me cry.....
I love how in the very end, len's looking at the audience with a face that says, "Just pointin' out the obvious, you all need to do something cause, hey, I'm only a computer program!"
