i remember when there were only parts 1 and 2 out and i died waiting 3 years for this

I swear whenever Rin and Len sing together, it's the most gorgeous thing.
My theory is that Rin and Len are like two parts that were meant to make one whole diva (divas dance and sing to gain the blessing of the dragon), but they were separated at birth and Rin was trained to be the diva. Because Len's not with her, singing and dancing for the dragon slowly starts killing Rin because it's sapping from her life force instead of her diva power. The reason why Len can hear her voice is because they're mentally connected. Len shatters Miku's mask (which was controlling her aka the dragon) thanks to Rin, who danced and sung the last of her power into him so he could get back up and defeat Miku. Rin dies and Len is sad, and meanwhile Rin's spirit and Len's spirit and conflicting inside of Len (because their powers are both inside Len). Len is angry because Rin has died and jaded from the hardships he faced on his journey, and Rin's voice is like his conscience, in a way. Len wants to destroy a world without Rin in it, and Rin tries to convince Len that the world and people are worth saving. Miku, who is freed from the mask's power, realizes Rin and Len have the power to free her from the spell keeping her trapped in the cave and brings Rin back temporarily. The twins realize that they don't have much longer together and sacrifice themselves, using all their power to free Miku and rid the land of the Diva's curse. Their spirits become one in the great light and they become whole once again.
Also, the weird disjointed part is Len starting to feel Rin's power inside of him disappearing (going back to Rin, but he doesn't know that) and for a short period of time before Rin comes back, Len thinks he's completely alone and for the first time he cries.
Miku's laugh I think was a little bit mocking the twins but in a "oh you silly humans" sort of way. She's a dragon so she doesn't view death the same way. She brings Rin back to humour Len and to basically coerce them into setting her free.

What I think:
By shattering Miku's mask, Len destroyed the seal on her memories.
When Len cried over Rin's body, Miku brings her back to life (she was smiling), and revealing that she is the dragon. (the scales and the gold eye)
And I guess they live on for eternity with their Dark and Light elements balancing each other out? Not sure about that :x

I love how Rin wears a G-clef pendant and Len wears the F-clef pendant~ If I remember correctly, you play the notes on the staff with the G-clef with your right hand, and the F-clef notes with your left hand on the piano - so it fits them perfectly! Rin is even chosen as Diva, since like, when you listen to piano music you "mostly hear" the melody played by the right hand, so I kind of can relate it to Rin having more power as a Diva. By the way, I'm not an expert on music so...

Although, I am kind of sad that it wasn't as climactic as part 2, and the ending didn't really feel complete.

My take (rin/len only):
When Len was injured rin gave some of her strenght to him, but then she didnt have enough to go on.
she tried her best to fend off the dragon/miku
but collapsed from the lack of power.
Len came and began to sing with her, she sang to her last breath and len kept singing in her place, because he was doing everything just for her.
Miku's freedom and life were taken from her and seeing them giving up everything for each other she gave them the power to defeat her so...
took them long enough to launch the last part...
but the wait was so worth it

I think it could've done well without all the special effects, but it was a grand finale~
happy ending for the two. It is to be noted that the illustration used on the crossfade for "Synchronicity Part 3" is from Suzunosuke's illustration book "Colorful" published on 2009. Meaning if that truly is the "ending" to the series, it has been decided from that year. The second crossfade contains the preview of the third song played.
Ah, it's nice to see this finally finished. I loved the visuals of this entire series.
