I remember not too long ago people were calling to get rid of Hoskins & Boehm. Now Boehm has really imbroved his fielding. And the Phis have at least 4 guys that can get hot and carry the team for a week+.
Looking at this series, the reality is the Phillies were a low playoff team which got hot. You see it happen all the time in the playoffs in every sport. And in every sport the moment that team goes cold, their run is over. They failed two spots to show that they were not cooling off in game 2. The first, and most important, was after McCullers was taken out. Big crowd, lots of excitement, momentum, everything you can't slack off. The reality was they were 1-11 with 6 Ks. Then they go out in game 4 and don't do a thing in the first 2 innings. As a low tier playoff team they could not do that and hope to win the series.
