I’m guilty of it, but a true OG fingerboarder never bashes and rips on tech deck that’s where it started for me at 11 when I started skating . I learned to rip with a shitty 28mm small as hell piece of plastic ha only to find out about professional fingerboarding in 2011 at 21 lol. It’s funny to think about growing up using techdecks forever not even questioning or considering there’s a much better alternative. That’s not true, they were the most popular when searching for wooden fingerboards but there were other brands. I used to fingerskate 4 corner fingerboards. 4CFB.
Was looking for a video to get me into this. I'm starting to feel it as I get older and it's harder to get out there and skate, but finger boarding you can do during rainy and winter days. I got techdecks and can kick flip and 3 flip on the thing no problem so I think I'm ready for an upgrade. Especially considering the parts break/wear down so easy
@absjdnnd4676 Not sure, but I looked at their site. The prices seem fair and what I mean by that is they have low prices and you have to ask yourself why. All their hardware/trucks and wheels is china stuff and isn't that good compared to custom trucks/wheels and bearings. You get what you pay for with these things
@@blazingfingerboards Seriously, the most realistic and gripy wheels. I find that most people usually fingerboard on a surface that isn't rough enough to get good grip so they slip out. I just want to strap it to my 🐢. Sounds like the cheap one would be better because it will have wheels that aren’t that grippy. It’s got to be able to slide so that he can turn.
I was think about upgrading my tech decks parts but somehow the wheel broke off and I think it chipped the metal part that screws on the nut. Now I have these small tech decks that I can’t land tricks on (not even a pop shove it) it can’t turn because of its plastic bushings and it keeps flipping upside down when I’m trying to do a ollie but when I looked at flat face it looked pretty cool I’m gonna try to buy one Also sub to The Gripsion
