Could you make a video on what the best Hunter Subclass is for crucible. my best friend who's a hunter has been complaining about how hunters are at a lower playing field in the crucible since the beginning of yr2. His brother and I keep telling him to use blade dancer but he says it won't make a difference in his playing. could you help us out in convincing that blade dancer is good, if not the best hunter subclass and possibly get a blade dancer load out for him. he won't listen to us and we have had major arguments over this topic. it would great if you helped us out

Watching this almost 3 years later, it makes me wanna load D1 and jump back in Crucible with my old loadout! I miss those maps and my D1 pulses... Don't worry Grasp of Malock and The Waltz, you are not forgotten! lol

Honestly so glad you use the Gunslinger. It was my favorite subclass in Vanilla. Warlock has been my main for a while now, since HoW I believe. But my Hunter has always been a Gunslinger and I totally love the throwing knives! The Ahamkara's to get an additional throwing knife and a Str/Dis build is boss! A Str/Int build would be just as nice honestly but I like tossing grenades. lol
The Dragon is nasty, especially with HC on. Curious which changes (if any) we'll see with the "Dawning" patch coming in next Tuesday. So happy to see you playing Gunslinger (again), it's such a great but underrated class. And thx for sharing the "pretend it didn't happen moment" on Vertigo. There are not too many streamers who would show themselves jumping of the ledge. As always, keep up the good work.
Hey tv. Glad ur back on goldy I used to love your chaperone gunslinger gameplay. I use it when I really want to have fun. Lately been using hawkmoon and throwing knifes. Throwing knifes are the most satisfying kills I feel
My favorite load out for IB this week has been my distant star with HLS, HCR, and Zen Moment with the Binding Blaze sidearm. I love outplaying matadors with the sidearm, so much fun lol.
"This gun brings back the primary meta" - exactly. I feel a lot more confident countering both snipers & shotgunners with the Dragon that I ever did with MIDA or my Lord High Fixer.
As much as people will disagree with me because they don't want primary weapon nerfs, high cal has to go or be changed. It doesn't help counter the special weapon meta as snipers are horrific right now after being triple nerfed and shotguns aren't going to miss at close range because you flinched them a little bit with your pulse. The only purpose high cal serves is to make snipers even more trash and to ruin primary gunfights to the point where the guy using a primary without high cal is going to lose.
Love that Tbag Karma at the end. Great clip TV, and you make a great point. Clever Dragon isn't OP, other primary weapons are UP. Particularly auto rifles. #Primarykillsmatter!
i got a amazeing distant star that competes with the clever dragon very well. Braced frame/ reinforced barrel high caliber rounds/ lightweight fire fly/ life support only 10 shots in the mag due to braced frame but it melts people and the high caliber rounds makes them miss a lot of shots :)
TV you should give the Impeacher sidearm from New Monarchy a try. It is a higher ROF, lower impact sidearm archetype. Think of Doctrine of Passing on sidearms. I have a rangefinder, hand loaded, high caliber rounds roll if you'd like to take it for a spin. Scary fast fire rate.

Tv, i don't mind gunslinger gameplay, in fact i wish to see more hunter/gunslinger gameplay! Most people use titans/warlcoks and many of your videos have been on those two so i would looooove to see gunslinger gameplay
my clever dragon I got from the very first IB from efrideet herself when I hit rank 5. but it rolled with perfect balance or braced frame, high caliber rounds and glass half full or life support. I run perfect balance because you need a 30 mag, high caliber, and glass half full which procs all the time because it shoots so fast
the drop off is so minimal as well. I have seen from 23 to 22 headshot at some crazy range. I have been running mine with a fusion for the majority of the time but sidearm has been run as well.
I got this exact roll last IB, and have been using it constantly since. So so good, but I'm getting a little bored with it. It's so good, I don't want to use anything else, but I miss my variety of slightly less good guns...

I thought Counterbalance was considered kind of unnecessary on the CD, because it doesn't have much side to side recoil. I have almost the same roll, except Hidden Hand instead of Counterbalance and I like it a lot. I've been getting some interesting rolls on pulses lately, and they're a lot of fun to mess around with.
I got this roll with Smallbore instead of perfect balance. I feel like it hits head shots more frequently than my braced frame version. I think the range helps with headshots since the drop off is very rare even with hand laid.
fyi my favorite gunslinger Loud out is red death and saladins vigil w/ scatter grenades. you should try it out, since you said you liked using gunslinger so much. also nice video btw huge fan of your work
certain scouts at range can battle against it like the cryptic dragon and its class of scouts but get too close your probly going to lose unless you have high stability, unfliching or zen moment.
lol, the number of times I have gotten the most kills overall on First Light using an Auto Rifle and a shotgun :) That map does have an interior that is close angles and blind corners. I don't enjoy Crucible much so usually my goal is to use outlandish stuff to piss people off, like in Year 2 I would use Necrochasm for Trials.

Lol instant karma. I have a clever dragon but no high caliber rounds ☹️. I only got to play iron banner one day the week it was sold because I was moving. I find myself using blind perdition more because it has high caliber rounds. If I do get a clever dragon with HCR I would use it exclusively.

I was using the artifact that removes sprint cool down. Blade dancer with fleet foot mida and frosteez. Amazing build for running the spark.

I had three matches earlier today with 30+ kills with that exact same loadout. Same perks on clever dragon but the vendor wormwood. It was fun!

Instead of counterbalance, mine has feeding frenzy and I love that perk. I'd prefer the faster loading over the stability in my opinion
