Good list, but definitely missing some key characters like Dino, Basil, etc.. Byakuran should be a bit higher due to his hax. Xanxus should be higher too since his liger can pretty much vaporize anything

Marion Jared Cacho they were trying to piss of xanxus so he’d fly into a rage and leave himself open for hibari to destroy his watch. Either way they were underestimating hibari since they thought Xanxus had beat him when hibari was just fine after getting hit head on

Good selection, it's clear you've seen KHR manga till its end XD.
I don't agree with putting Jagger in an honorable mention. Xanxus, Squalo, Tsuna... tried to defeat him and they couldn't. Kawahira was the one that "finished" the conflict. Jagger is the most powerful fighter (actually Kawahira is the most powerful being because he is not human, but he had never fought). Even Reborn wanted to surrender, until he knew Bermuda plans.
Jagger was an arcobaleno and he has caught a lot of criminals (it's their job), so it explains why he is supposed to be skilled.
I really think that Tsuna is overestimated, He shouldn't be in the TOP 5 of powerful KHR characters. Tsuna has no personality, always relying on Reborn to manipulating him, he is an adolescent that is not used to fight. The "super vongola power" and "intensive 1 year trainning" are not enough for being a good fighter/mafiosi. It's like Tsuna has to be "the most powerful" because he is the main character, however, he has no combat/battle experience compared to Varia. Having a lot of "PM" doesn't make him one of the most powerful characters.
That reminds me that Xanxus obtained the ring and put it on his finger (he won), however the ring hurt him a lot (the ring defeated Xanxus). Xanxus had to retire because he isn't blood related to the 9th. It was an automatic win. Varia won the sky battle, as simple as that.
About Reborn, he is supposed to be powerful however, he didn't prove it, you know, Tsuna team is supposed to be the one kicking asses...
About the ring conflict technically tsuna one but Marmon and bel unfroze xanxus

Oneal Gray uhm. The sky battle is all vs all:
- The judges stated the ring is the whole school
-the judge didn't tell the other member to stay quiet. Cooperation is allowed, that's why it isn't a 1vs 1 battle.
Tsuna wasn't allowed to interfere in Lambo vs Levi battle, nor Xanxus in Hibari vs Gola Mosca battle. However, in the sky battle no one was discalified because of cooperating with other members.
Tsuna trashed Bermuda (Which is stronger than Jaegar) with low difficulty. He even managed do counter a attack in speed of light. He could solo everyone in the list except for checker face.

Yes, gokudera is said to be weaker than yamamoto, but that's not always the case. You can't really judge the characters based on their raw power; there's other factors. First, environment. Yamamoto excels in wide open areas, while gokudera fights just as well with places of lots of cover. We've already seen how takeshi was getting killed by that boomerang guy in the anime. Second, variety. Yamamoto has a lot of sword stances, and has a much wider variety than gokudera. Theyre all strong, but lacks the power to consistently used in all situations. But gokuderas powers can be used in any set of area, with his shield, his blaster, uri, variety of different kinds of flames, and even dynamite. Third, flame. Gokuderas storm flame holds the (im not sure what but destructive) trait, much more suitable to combat than yamamotos tranquility rain flame, which calms (paralyzes, slows, or petrify). Of course these rain traits are vital, but in pure combat, the storm flame sou be much Better. Fourth, situation. What stakes are they betting on for this battle? Is it the lives of their teammates? Wasting time? Protection someone? Yamamoto's great at retrieving hostages and fighting battles using teamwork, but gokudera is great at fighting someone one on one, to the death. Also, if it relate anything anything tsuna directly, gokudera wud fight a bit better than takeshi. Well in conclusion, u cud say that they're tied, but one can easily have the advantage over one other according to the four things mentioned.

Well as I mentioned, the storm and rain flames are varied, plus gokudera has the ability to produce many different flames... so ur point is invalid. In terms of power, you may be right, but I feel like Takeshi has more technique and agility than gokudera not power
but not control them as if they're his soul and yamamoto is very powerful and i know this is kinda stupid but Yamamoto is a batter and however you look at that its stronger but still he's stronger than gokudera in almost every aspect except intelligence and...loyalty?I guess?

This is going off manga but proper scaling puts tsuna enma cheker face and bermuda at the top. Tsuna and enma are capable of destroying planets and bermuda can semi counter it and checker face is implied reality warper.
Enma would shit all over most of these characters in the list. lol
why is yamamoto there at all he should even be in the honorable mention. also byakuran broke mukuro 2 times so how come mukuro's higher. primo is also definetly stronger than hibari and how come jager isnt here he basically beat 4 on the list...
Yamamoto is pretty strong, he deserves to be in top 10. His Rain flames are kinda OP in battle.

anyone have advice on whether to read manga after the anime? I mean apparently the manga ending is terrible thats why they cut the anime
i love the anime and manga so much that i would kill for it but, that put aside, the manga was quite shitty and the storyline was terrible. while i would love to see the inheritance ark and the curse of the rainbow arc in anime, i think they made the right call to end the anime with the future arc (which was a flawless piece of art in my opinion lol)

i dont think tsuna's dad is that strong its just the shitty writing in the last two arcs that made iemitsu look like hes completely dominating tsuna, who just got his ring unlocked for the third time. even if he lacked the resolve he should be able to beat iemitsu with ease
i definitely think primo should be there rather than iemitsu. he may have lacked screen time in the anime and didnt fight at all in both, but you cant deny his power and strength i mean hes the creator of vongola and the original bearer of the x burner. he could probably beat half the people on the list with so he definitely is a part of the top 10

I would put Tsuna at 4th place because he definitely can't use Ultimate Dying will on his own accord, and without it is no where near Bermuda or Reborn (of course if you use that specific form and one off event then yes he's easily second). Byakuran is much stronger than Mukuro, and the only reason Mukuro's team stood a chance was because of Verde's technology. Xanxus was pretty much confirmed stronger than Hibari by Dino.
I think everybody is ranked based on his strongest form , meaning that Tsuna is ranked based on his ultimate dying will mode and Mukuro is ranked based on his power up with Verde's equipment otherwise Tsuna would be below Reborn and Mukuro would be below even Hibari I assume , and yes it was stated as clear as the sun that Xanxus is stronger than Hibari , only fanboys would put him above Xanxus , but it's weird to see SonTj put him above Xanxus since he's a good list maker
