Nice! Good to see new FW06 owners. Since it’s getting cooler now, I just pulled my FW06 with the NSX body out of the closet. Hoping it’ll start since it’s been awhile the last time I had it running.
I cut my window out enough in the front to access the fuel tank and in the rear for the Engine Heatsink. In Texas heat I run about 220ºF - 240ºF with the holes. I run it a bit lean, just a bit.
You know... Kyosho new engines do face the heat much better. I did not cut mine. I use a temp gun to check it out. No troubles at all ( I had a RS4-18SS-HPI before.. That one needed holes in the body hahaha)
This rc car is around $350 USD but the subaru wrx shell is unavailable , they have the same model (chassis, engine, servos, etc) but with a different shell from an Alpine gt4 , or from de Acura NSXG3 available at this time.

Awesome! No one should say "electric RCs have more power". This is power! Combustion Nitro Power!

What percent nitro fuel were you running? I've got mine running on 20% nitro but I think it could stand to run a little hotter fuel.
