Really imaginative mod, with some genuinely inspired level design. Really contributes to an uncomfortable atmosphere, as well, particularly as it plays with your expectations of familiar areas and spaces, turning it against you. It's actually a lot like a bad dream.

4:33 I think the level teleporter trick is literally as old as the first episode of Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny (1992). In the last level when you get the spear of destiny you are seamlessly transitioned to Hell. I played it a few years ago and it WAS amazing.
You had me at "the next level is set on a train." I am definitely seeing the rest of this firsthand. Bloom is such an incredible mod that I hadn't even heard of Blood before this video and still love the hybridization of the two themes.

The merging is done so well, there's enough of Doom and Blood to anchor the aesthetic, and transition parts are just enough - other games that use unlimited space with broken up reality tend to over do it. Anyway, amazing!
This looks absolutely magnificent. I love the whole void and mindfuck aspect of it. If there's one thing it's that I can't help but noticing the flat lighting on some of the maps. IMO it could use more contrast and darkness.
I played this last night and yes, I can't also wait for the thing to be completed. This mod manages to be intense and also pretty scary at the same time. Small glitches be damned it was such a blast to tear through things as either Doomguy or Caleb. Wonderful stuff!

You know what I loved about this map pack? Even if we don't take the alternative storyline into account, this is how I imagine Earth would look like after Hell's invasion. Compared to this - I know, due to hardware and other limitations - the original Doom II is a nice little afternoon tea seance.
This mod looks too damn good to be real. I think what's so amazing to me about Doom and Blood is... I don't like horror movies, which Doom and Blood both pull inspiration from... but I still LOVE THESE GAMES.
You can use Bloom with every other mappack which does not change weapons or enemies. There is a mappack which has the blood maps available... Absolutely amazing with bloom.

This ... is fucking amazing. No words can describe the amount of amazement I have to the creator/s of this mod. Meshing two universes together in this weird yet aesthetically sound design. I can't love it any more man! Not only is it just badass mapping, sound design manipulating and being able to play as Caleb, but to see the mix-up in enemies from the Cabal's ability to bend Hell to its will is breathtaking! Also, can we give a shoutout to Civvie11? I feel without his influence with PRO BLOOD, we won't even have a mod that is just AWESOME as this. So this mod looked pretty cool, but I tried playing it, and yikes the difficulty spike compared to normal Doom is absolutely no joke. Guess that's the Blood side of things, as I've heard that game is pretty intense.
I'm really hoping this means that we might have a Duke Nukem Shadow Warrior crossover. Those are two games that compliment each other quite well seeing as they are both more 80s action movie-esque than Doom and Blood (both of them obviously being horror).

I love the idea that the Cabal took over the UAC facilities, presumably to combat Caleb, and they get the Doomguy/DoomSlayer instead.

I like this idea of a combi between DOOM and BLOOD. Both were really nice FPS with a creepy atmosfere.
I found that the teleports made it really feel like your character is in the grips of insanity.

You heard right about Blood's difficulty. Even a single cultist (enemies equivalent to Doom's standard Former Humans) can take you out very fast.
I love Blood, especially since the Deathmatch issue much fun, bu with Doom? Two good game in one!
Fun fact, the opposite of this mod is apparently DooⱭ. Wasn't expecting that, but it would explain the mangled geometry.
