  • If you have been wondering about how to level a class c or more specifically wondering about leveling a Super C Motor Home then this little video just might help!
    I have been leveling a super c motor home, our Thor Magnitude RB34, for about 8 months now and have set up camp in well over a dozen campsites and before that I learned how to level a class c with our 2019 Vesta. I set up camp with that class c motor home well over 500 times.
    Leveling a super c motor home is not to different than how to level a class c, just a bigger drive train after all. The biggest thing to remember when you are learning about leveling a super c motor home is that the more you do it the easier it gets!
    Come along with me as I explore leveling a class c and specifically leveling a super c motor home!

    Why do we have to have an intro? I just want information. I don’t wanna hear a country song and see pictures of deer and mountains. Just tell me what I need to know this goes for everybody.

      You are the first person to ever post this comment on any of my videos. If viewers dont provide comments or any feedback all I have to go on is the video metrics and they can be sort of vague so I truly appreciate your comment. Shortly after this video was posted I eliminated video intros on my channel. I too have never cared for them..

    Thank You, Your presentation on the leveling was excellent. Former owner of a Class C, and no leveling jacks, hauled lumber around and learned how to pick a camp site that required a minimum amount of leveling.

    I appreciate the video. I was not aware how the auto level comes down. I've had issues a couple that I think I can correct by watching your video. We just bout our Magnitude in July. Keep up the videos and I will keep watching. I see you are retired Navy. Thank you for your service, I am retired Army.

    Great video Bob. I never thought to look to see if a double wide plastic block was made for the rear dually. I might have to pick up a set. Those would make the job easier instead of always using singles. Happy camping!!

    Good info would it be better to use the lever on the floor because the cabinets can be off when they build them?

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a great point. I should have mentioned that in our coach the counter top and fridge were aligned so If you leveled to to the counter the fridge door would be level where as if I leveled at the floor the fridge door was prone to popping open when I walked through the coach. I really got tired of that fridge leaning out of the cabinet and reworked the whole thing and now I am leveling to the floor.

    This was really helpful! Thank you we really appreciate the tips. Are you going to do a meet up sometime? We're getting close on picking up our own Magnitude and would love to do that sometime!

    I missed the point of rolling your rig's rear tires up on those wooden planks. What did that accomplish? Seems to me that if you didn't roll up on those wooden planks, you wouldn't have to use as many pads under your jacks and your wheels would remain on the ground.

    • @DudeRV

      the slope at that location is more than the level system can handle. without the wheel blocks the level system gives a fault code and when the slide is opened it will also go into fault mode and will lock up.

    Thanks for your naval service. Can you level as much as a 5-6% grade?

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The steeper the grade the more blocks and effort required. I have leveled in some very steep sites, I have no idea what the slope was but on one of them the front wheels were about 20 inches off the ground. This is not something that I want to do on a regular basis especially with our coach having a full wall slide.

    I’m curious as to how you drive a beast like that?
    I sat in the drivers seat of a Class A and it felt like I was steering a warehouse.

    • @DudeRV

      Trudy really drives like a pickup. We have to remember that she is taller, wider and longer than the F150 because she drive better than the 150. nothing like driving a class a

    Random question: in your shower you have a metal shower caddy. How do you have that fixed to the shower wall?

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is not a random question! Nothing will stick to those walls! well almost nothing. here is what I used...

      amzn.to/3Ub1mHO
      amzn.to/3fh9tnp
      I also found a small plastic basket that fits inside the shelf and drilled a few drainage holes in the bottom so small things will stay in place.

    So automatic leveling is basically anything but.

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it really all depends on the site, the last five public locations only required the jacks and no blocks.
