I know it is timed release but still to see all the notifications come out at once. I will be passing on the Mini series still holding out for a DJI FPV rumorred ? I finally am getting my Skydio 2 this Friday after waiting 51 weeks.... Stoked to see the technology experience from that of all my DJI drones. Great job... off to watch more reviews.
I think my Mavic Mini 1 is simply amazing. The Mini 2 is unbelievable! A complete marvel. I will stick with the original, but if I didn't have it the new drone takes things another leap forward. Thanks for yet another great review Kelly. Stay safe

I'm a beginner. I've been studying drones for couple months now. So, is the Mavic mini 2, or mavic air 2 or mavic pro 2. Can I get another point of view for a beginner what would you buy outta these 3?
At the fly more price might as well get a good 2nd hand mavic pro which at least have a few obstacles sensors compared to the mini which has none which is strange because you would think a "beginner" drone would have more sensors
Buy the mini if under 250g and the ultimate in convenience is important to you. Buy the air 2 if you live in windy gusty area. And also need obstacle avoidance and tracking. PS. I'd buy the air 2s over the air 2. Not worth saving a few hundred bucks.
If I had occu-sync, I probably would not have lost my Mavic Air and be stuck with just the spark (which is an ok drone) but the flight time is really bad. It would be cool if they made a modular drone that you could pay for the features you want. :) I might have to start saving for a mini-2. Whatever the next one will be for me, I am making occu-sync a priority. :) Wow the tech these days is unbelievable!
A fair review though I know the camera catches better images than that shown here at low altitude over the long grasses. The camera has many features not shown here.

At the moment i am starting to collect money to buy a drone. And for the price of 1 mavic air 2 i would get fly more combo mini 2 so.. But mini 2 does lack collision avoidance sensors and active track.. And some features which mavic air 2 has.. But are those really necessary??

Go with mavic pro can't beat it been a work horse for dji for years and you can get a like new 2nd hand for around 400
