I’m not a SnyderVerse fan, personally, and was not a fan of the Snyder Cut… *but* I appreciate that he was able to release his version of Justice League and, as you’ve said, the use of bots for a good cause is nothing to criticise. At the end of the day, the Snyder Cut is something rarely seen in the film industry and (whether you like it or not) it’s a moment his fans, and Snyder himself, will cherish forever.
Same. Im not a fan of his DC outings as they feel like bad fan fiction. But the fact his original vision got released is a marvel (no pun intended). That being said, i feel like people hold the Snyder cut in the same vein as the holy grail... When its the same movie at the end of the day with very small differences. Those differences are good, but ultimately add nothing more with the exception of Cyborg. You can argue the ending is different but it has the same end result so it doesn't actually change anything. His chosen aspect ratio is also extremely pretentious and the scenes he shot in his backyard are awful to look at

Having said that he actually did a video the other day calling BS on people saying that Snyder and Ray Fisher and others teamed up and lied when attacking Joss Whedon He was very clear that he believed everything they said and the fact that so many other people had come out against him in his opinion made it clear that everything they said was true. im mostly just happy ben is feeling comfortable enough to return to the role again after the justice league and drinking incidents, and if the post credits scene of the flash is true, it means he actively DOES want to play to play the character again. which is great for 2 reasons. one i believe he showed a ton of potential and is currently my second favourite batman, and it also sticks it to the people who were saying he’d never return.
6:41 just a correction there. According to an interview with Deborah Snyder, she explained that they were already working on stuff before the pandemic started. And because of it the studio was about to end the whole project again, but she told them how there was no need on stopping, specially because most of it could be done from home and people would keep their jobs. And then yes, as you said, they still needed content to be produced and be released the next months/year.

Why is that though? Still did way more than other fandoms. Zacks daughter committed suicide. Makes sense support to that would come up.
