Ok but you gotta admit the bowling tournament being broadcasted on ESPN 8 the Ocho from Dodgeball is one of the funniest things to come out of the sonic movie universe
If I recall correctly, Dodgeball willed that into existence. It was a parody, but some exec saw that and thought, "wait, why don't we have a channel for obscure sports?"

The climatic bowling alley could've been better if it had been more videogame-themed There was Wade's musical, where he was dressed as Knuckles and was "playing" the games They could've done something similar too
23:15 Exactly my take. This show gets barely anything right but I just find it so hard to completely hate it. There's an occasional really endearing nugget thrown in there
I like Wade as much as I like Sheen and Patrick, in small doses. I did like his mom a lot, though. She and Knuckles had a good dynamic. The first episode was written by Jeff Fowler, so it's the best. I wish he wrote all of it but as it stands, I still give it an 8/10.
Doug Walker (Nostalgia Critic) and some of his fans called Sonic movie 1 the equivalent of Hop or Smurfs. I heavily disagree with that argument, especially because of the Knuckles TV show. This show is like Hop or Smurfs.
The first movie was pretty trash tbh. It was 80% stolen jokes, 20% genuinely interesting stuff. Movie 2 upped the quality by a good bit and felt less derivative over all... and then this is complete garbage. It's remarkable how little Jewish stereotypes add to Sonic.
I really don't understand why they made Pachacamac a good guy when he KILLED SONIC'S MOTHER. If they needed a ghostly mentor for Knuckles, Tikal was right there.
"I wish my Dad left ME in a TJ Maxx" is one of the craziest things ever said and it's in a SONIC SERIES 💀 I wish we could've gotten more Knuckles but I also did really feel for Wade Whipple. Knuckles was kinda funny but he needed more to do. I also found this series funnier than the movies because Sonic wasn't there lol.
I genuinely loved knuckles I thought it was ok it’s a nice continuation of the universe but my only gripe is how much screen time knuckles gets but I think the show is awesome I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Flames of Disaster song and the part when Knuckles uses the Flames of Disaster it’s just so cool
I'll be honest, I'm a huge fan of the Sonic movies, with Movie Sonic being my favorite version of the character. I like that Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles live on Earth and are heroes there. I also like the human characters like Tom, Maddie, Agent Stone, and others. The movies aren't perfect, but I like them and they mean a lot to me. I would like to see Sonic and his friends explore other worlds and meet other Sonic characters, but I don't think it's necessary for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to completely abandon Earth and abandon characters like Tom, Maddie, and Agent Stone. I think the movies should be their own thing. I may not agree with your opinions, but I respect them and I won't change your mind, I just hope you can respect my opinion and how much these movies mean to me and others.
Well Pup, I've been a Sonic fan for 28 years now and for the las 8 or so I've mainly consumed everything Sonic related really, really high. Regardless of quality. I guess that's just part of adulthood.
I agree with the sweet moments between Knuckles and Wendy. Felt like he was finally starting to understand normal family times under the premise of being a guest, rather than being overloaded with it while living with Sonic and Maddie. While I was also dissapointed in this show (Wanda was wretched, and they could of had Knuckles be Wade's partner in the Bowling Tournement), I did kinda enjoyed seeing it as Knuckles' own journey to find enjoyment and appreciation for living in a place like Earth, by slowly being introduced to small moments.
A decent editor could probably make a decent hour and a half movie outta this. Cut as much of Wade's family as possible, maybe add any deleted scenes involving the bad guys.
I couldn’t get past episode 2 of the Knuckles show. For any new series they make, I really hope they focus more on the Sonic characters and less on the humans
Personally, I would have preferred a 3 or 4 episode mini-series that saves up enough budget to introduce Rouge who sneaks through the ring portal in ep. 1 and works with the rogue agents before choosing to do the right thing in the end and become a full-fledged G.U.N. agent, leading us into her cinematic debut to have the classic Dark Team from SA2. Also, for some reason, having Sam Elliot be a hermit that Knuckles and Wade meet along the way who helps with Wade’s physical and mental maturity while teaching Knuckles that men like them who are strong still find more purpose in sharing their lives with others and with what you don’t know than living only with yourself and knowing nothing but the same thing every single day, showing signs of regret and making sure the echidna does not end up like him. Maybe not that last one, since I’m sure that would defeat the “save the budget” thing since Sam Elliot would cost a pretty penny. For some reason, I just think it would be really cool to see Sam Elliot and Idris Elba Knuckles on the same screen.
Personally I feel Pachacahmac was a wasted opportunity and could have been an interesting mirror of Pistol Pete, connecting Knuckles more to Wade's plight. I always found weird how the show keeps the legacy of the echidnas in such high esteem despite Sonic 2 showing us that things were much more morally gray. This specially feels weird when a big emotional point of the 2nd movie is Knuckles and Sonic bonding once realizing they are MORE than just the legacies they carry. Id have made it that as he witness Pistol Pete betraying everyone he has a mommt where he is met by the ghost of Pachacahmac once more who doesnt seem that interested beyondjust Knuckles seeking amother quest, for Knux to realize that similarly to Wade's relationship with his dad, Pachacamahac wasnt the greatest leader that Knuckles conjured in his mind.
I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but my mom and I actually enjoyed watching the knuckles show: the only part of it that we didn't like was Wade's sister, but other than that the show is a solid 7.5 out of 10 in our book
Okay, I'll say this. First off, you are correct. About nearly everything. Speaking as someone who legitimately enjoyed this show, there has to be a certain way you go about this. As a connective tissue with any sense of world building, this show fails miserably. The one and only thing it does right is it's comedy. I love absurdist and cartoony humor, and this puts it out in spades. If I could compare it to anything, it'd be somewhere between a Ben Stiller and Will Ferrel movie. You mentioned not binging this, however that's ironically exactly what I did. I told myself I just start with one or two episodes, but ended up in for the long haul. Each episode had something in that made my have to pause and just laugh for about 5 minutes straight. Unfortunately, to get that level of enjoyment out of this, you do have to disconnect. As I watched past episode one, I could tell almost immediately that two things were going to happen: 1: EVERYBODY is going to hate this show. While Knuckles isn't treated like a clown, this story takes place in clown world. It's way more cartoony in tone compared to the movies. Thing is, I kinda liked that. I felt the insane visual gags gave this universe a bit more of an identity. 2: Knuckles is barely going to be relevant to the plot. Yeah, it's the Wade Wipple show, through and through. Now, I actually did enjoy a lot of the extraneous characters, like the sister and the bounty hunter. However, a better story could be told, hell you mapped it out beautifully in your redo. I say this as a long time Sonic fan of the 90s, with Knuckles being my favorite character of the series: I don't think this show is hot garbage and can be enjoyed. However, you have to be aware of what it is and not expect the world from it. It's not a slap in the face to Sonic enjoyers or anything like that, it's just a dumb show that some writers went nuts on, forgetting to ground it to the rest of the series. Of course, if you hate it, that's fine too. As I said, I knew almost instantly that people were not going to like this. The only thing that kept me hooked was the comedy.
I actually think it’s a fun show. It’s a good show. It’s just it didn’t meet Sonic fans expectations. But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad show. It’s actually a good one. So I say, stop going into things with expectations. Go in open minded and you might enjoy things. This goes for the games too.
in my opinion, they needa give knuckles more respect in the movies! whenever he fights anything new he looses and then it just ends like that, he's a warrior he can take things
@KnucklesPunchess piccolo from dbz. As in like, you have this character who everyone loves and is badass and super strong, but because of plot reasons they're basically never allowed to win a real fight because that's for the "main" character.
@@derekhibbard9018 ok i understand, yeah knuckles is powerful and can win and has the most potential to beating shadow or silver idk, he wouldn't win but it would be a close fight!
In this Sonic movie franchise which VFX studio is your favorite? MPC (Moving Picture Company) or Industrial Light & Magic? I think Industrial Light & Magic looks a little better than MPC but MPC still did a great job on the first 2 movies.
As much as I liked the Knuckles Show, I will not stand for what they did to the Flames of Disaster and Iblis. They took something that was significant, and a major part of the lore, and turned it into a power-up.
A comic writer would not translate that well to a show format(No, he mainly wrote dialogue for the games, not the game stories themselves), movie writers seem to struggle hard enough when translating to a show format if the MCU is anything to go by.
Wanna know something sad? Since this is a tv series and not a movie that’s all about wade, that means wade has the most total screen time out of any character in the sonic movie universe
One thing that burned me with this show was the lack of any meaningful hints to Movie 3 outside of a small line about Shadow, even the lesser MCU projects had teases to the bigger movies and Paramount clearly wants Sonic to be their MCU and I think that they can do it with how rich the Sonic lore is. Knuckles probably isn't the worst show and ever there are still scenes I like including the Holding out for a Hero montage, the Shabbat dinners fight with the rotating camera, and the rock opera. One thing they should keep is for Michael Bolton to keep singing songs for them, imagine hearing a cover of Open Your Heart or His World from his angelic voice. All of the good stuff is just held back by all the mistakes we thought the first movie were gonna make and it made for many fans worried for Movie 3 and future projects,if they made them here then they will make them again and the only way they'll stop is if they know we don't want this and that it won't show what makes Sonic special. Movie Knuckles is my favorite interpretation of him honestly and it was such a shame he got shafted hard on this show, and I think Wade is actually one of the better human characters in not just the movies but Sonic in general.I've seen your edit of this show into a movie on your Bluesky and it's so much better with the addition of actual Sonic music and better pacing,if that rumored Shadow spinoff does happen, then they have to make it a movie and not a show, and have it play in theaters so they can afford Keanu again and expand more on the Sonic stuff,Shadow sells himself on his own so I'm sure it'll be a hit and be the best selling movie of the year it comes out.👍 Lastly, the fact that Knuckles isn't even playing in the tournament was such a waste. P.S.If Sonic music isn't (apparently) appealing enough for general audiences, then why not have more popular artists make remixes of them?Sonic fans win because they get awesome remixes of their favorite game songs, general audiences win because they get to hear artists they know play these songs and get them curious to hear the originals, and Paramount wins because they can sell albums of the remixes.
It’s a shame, but this was pretty much what knuckles got for his 30th anniversary. There’s also the IDW special, but again it’s a story where knuckles is taking someone under his wing, and his apprentice gets more of a spotlight than him on his own anniversary The only difference between the two is the comic is fairly short, and I think Trip is far more interesting than Wade
If a continuation of spin offs like this happens, they need to abandon the Streaming series model in favor of straight to streaming films(Or just release more films to cinema, whichever works). Until AI technology is advanced enough, the CGI is too much of an expense to give the game characters a consistent presence in the show.
This show feels like a Nickelodeon sitcom, and it’s going to be re-aired on Nickelodeon… I think I only enjoyed it bc I was intoxicated throughout the watch. Objectively it’s bad, but I kinda like how stupid and shitty it is lmao. Having a good and thoughtful knuckles story would be lovely, we can dream.
Yeah the knuckles series sounded like a disappointment in my opinion, which is a shame because the knuckles show had so much potential to be amazing in my opinion.
Yeah, this miniseries was all sorts of dumb. I even said so in my review. Knuckles NEVER TRAINED HIM. The opening did more training than the show. Pachacamac being the trainer was a copout. Which is funny, Wade is a cop, and didn't become a better cop in the end. They made him a better BOWLER?? OCHO is Spanish for Eight. Oh-cho. Ever seen Herbie Goes Bananas? They say it there.
This show definitely felt very rushed and we didn’t get much of a story from Knuckles which is a shame because he’s my favourite character in this franchise
I wished episode 2 onward was episode 1 x10. Then it would have been fine. I’ll never see this show again. And I’ll happily forget it exists except I can’t. Lol My genuine problem with Knuckles is that it’s not funny. It just felt too meaningless. And I never cared for Wade as a character. The human characters are insufferable and uninteresting. I wasn’t expecting Wade to be the core central focus. And budget doesn’t excuse generic storytelling. What I liked about it? I like seeing Knuckles in action. I liked episode 1. At least we’re spared of any importance or relevancy to watch this series. If we do get a supposed Shadow and Knuckles series, hopefully it’s hella better than this.
Personally, I think the show is good through the first four episodes but there last 2 almost ruin the whole thing for me. They NEED to hire someone like Flynn to write the shadow spin-off, I don’t trust new people with the game cast after this.
You know, after your explanation of episode 1 I was almost willing to pause the video and give this show a chance... and then you explained that episode 2 concludes the non-existent arc of the whole show! Yeah, I just decided to watch the whole video instead lol
I don’t like The Flames of Disaster episode & Rock Opera. If that’s as far as the Knuckles Show will take Sonic seriously…Then I can’t really respect that
In the game Pachacamac is someone who will put his pursuit of power in front of everything, willing to sacrifice his family ... in the series is just a goof. Thats... thats exactly what they are doing with Gerald, isnt it? serious in the games, goof in the movie verse. I havent seen the movie (obviously, i know you have pup so you'd prolly have an idea of how true this is) but they seem to be worried to tackle the more serious things of the sonicv story in the movieverse
Even though I can see all the flaws of the Knuckles show, I personally still think its a really fun show to watch, the goofiness of wade in the show makes me laugh so much and honestly my only complains with the final result is that I want wanda to be killed in sonic 3 I hate her so much, the buyer was defeated really easily and was underutilised a lot and the final bowling tourniment lasted a bit too long I do think it should have been called Wade & Knuckles since it wouldn't have pissed so many people off + be a funny reference to S3K Also FINALLY someone said that episode 4 is one of the best episodes for the show (hot take: it's my favourite episode)
Technically, I did LIKE the knuckles show, but just barely. It’s a 6 boarding on a 5. However, I’m not to mad about it because this was really just an appetizer for Sonic 3. If knuckles does get a season 2, Stray away from the human stuff as much as possible. Just make the show animated at that point.
if he did it would probaly be about him going on a road trip with, maddie's sister rachel and the show would focus less on tails and more on rachel and her relationship drama with her gun agent husband
Okey man this is a long one so you listen and listen well iv seen poeple argue that fans shouldn't be up set becuase we KNEW what the premise is ahead of the show's release: (knuckles agrees to train wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the echidna worrior) which i guess, in the strictest sence is true he does AGREE to do it but dosen't mean it ever HAPPENS. it would be fine if knuckles was still central to his role in guiding wade if they made it a point that, despite trying to teach him everything about becoming a great worrior - the way HE was taught and learnd - kunckles still manages to learn valueble lessons from wade throughout thier Journey together and i feel like thats what they were going for but thats not at all what the end result IS. wade is going to reno, and kunckles is just THERE sometimes
Sorry guy but I lived through Sonic underground it was all pizzazz all merch all push but for nothing in the end. It was basically a teaser for something that could have been and then was abandoned. This however has connections at least in the grand scheme of things.
I still don’t understand why you like episode 4 so much, like yeah its the episode with the most amount of sonic stuff, but the way its delivered makes me feel like the shows making fun of me for liking sonic stuff. Like the shows going “yeah look at all this dumb shit that we’re not even gonna bother putting in the budget to render cgi stuff, isnt this all so lame and cringe, can you believe people actually like this.” So it overall leaves a bad taste in my mouth
@jskywalker58If I remember, they wanted to tell Knuckles' backstory, but because of budget and time limits they couldn't animate the entire scene. So the rock opera was the most practical option for them (and I personally love it for that).
Knuckles show is good when knuckles is on screen doing something cool... Which is overshadowed by all the other nonsense Oh, I think the series would be better if it was about Knuckles telling stories from his past to Sonic and Tails.

Thank you for assuring us that Sonic 3 will be awesome. But please, I need to know... Is there any toilet humour to be aware of? (If you can say without spoilers) I wanna avoid them if the unfortunately exist there, but also I pray there ISNT ANY cue I watched Puss in Boots Last Wish two nights ago and realised there were NO 'childish' jokes or toilet humour (there was puss using the toilet like a human BUT that didn't overstay it's welcome and it was funny seeing him be discouraged for it like the cat he is) and that made the movie one of my favourites cus I can fully enjoy every second of it
I don't know if you'll answer this question, but is there a possibility that we'll see characters and elements from the Sonic comics and cartoons in the movies?
As much as I hate to admit this, the Knuckles series was the weakest in the series in my opinion. I enjoyed it yes, but I do strongly agree with the criticism that Knuckles should’ve had more screen time and the comedy should’ve been handled way better, I trust Sonic Movie 3 to do better because looking at early reactions, I should see the best in a lifetime. And also it felt less like a Sonic show because even though Knuckles was the main protagonist, Wade just took up the screen time Knuckles should’ve. It’s not the WORST thing I’ve seen (which I do not want to mention), but it’s definitely blow average. I might as well go ahead and say that the first Sonic film was better, even though it took on a buddy road trip theme (That I honestly resonate with, but wish there was more action and game elements added in.) I do understand why Paramount went with the live action approach - To attract a wider audience, give us their take on Sonic, and taking inspiration from one of the games while at the same time adding their own story to it. But, I’d prefer that there was an animated film that would benefit all Sonic fans (myself included). As I’ve said, I may be on board with the movies and liking them as they are, but I do hope for an animated film in future.
Seeing this really makes me concerned about the future of the SMU (Sonic Movie Universe). Cuz after the 3rd movie comes out and makes its through theaters then eventually to streaming and then what? Supposedly Paramount has plans fro Silver and Amy to appear soon and also supposedly Shadow will either get a spinoff movie or a series. Pararmount needs to hire writers who actually care about the fans and the games as this series was not a good test run and I refuse to finish it.
This solidified my fear in the movie franchise cause it reminded me of how transformers were treated where the characters we actually wanted to see for were just in the sideline and used just to fight for cool action
It wouldn’t be a Knuckles solo series without a holocaust analogy.
It’s so weird that it happened twice. (See Archie for the first instance)
Technically 3. The knuckles IDW comic was more focused on Trip so it was a nice story for her.
She wasn't talking about the Holocaust, geez.

@@supersaiyanfox9190 I'm sorry to shit on your stolen Zoolander and super hero movie jokes.
@@deedoubsthey fixed Sonic’s design tho
@@DamnZtar They did do that, but the writing and premise are just not great.
I really don't understand why they made Pachacamac a good guy when he KILLED SONIC'S MOTHER. If they needed a ghostly mentor for Knuckles, Tikal was right there.
Agreed completely.
I don't think that was him though
I don't think Pachacamac was around for that, pretty sure he was still the chief from centuries ago
"I wish my Dad left ME in a TJ Maxx" is one of the craziest things ever said and it's in a SONIC SERIES 💀
I wish we could've gotten more Knuckles but I also did really feel for Wade Whipple. Knuckles was kinda funny but he needed more to do. I also found this series funnier than the movies because Sonic wasn't there lol.
8:50 yeah thanks for that kenith penders
I don't feel like doing this today 😮💨
9:34 oof.
2:43 I remember the og plot that was leaked that in ep 1 rouge the bat would’ve appeared and steal the master emerald
I liked it until like the 5th episode, then me and my dad forgot about it after that
I agree with the sweet moments between Knuckles and Wendy.
I have a 2 hour cut of it. 😂 I got curious. Still a lot of narrative dissonance but with less of the pacing issues.
@ChannelPup Nice! I'm curious if there's any deleted scenes for it out there. Maybe they could make your cut of it a bit more coherent.
i would not watch a movie about this though
@AntolaRes Fair.
I LOVED THE KNUCKLES SHOW, i think the hate just spans from the fact it was marketed as a KNUCKLES show
That was an awesome video!
I can vouch I took a massive edible and watched this show and had the time of my life LMAO
For some reason, I just think it would be really cool to see Sam Elliot and Idris Elba Knuckles on the same screen.
that movie 3 tease at the end. Sounds like we won't be disappointed

PHRASING!
this show was THE FLAMES OF DISASTER 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
NOW PUT IT OUT🔥🔥🔥
Knuckles and Wendy are the best characters. I like Wade as well.
The Buyer also used to work for Eggman, in the predecessor of GUN
I am a big Knuckles fan, which is why I will never watch The Wade And Knuckles Show.
As I watched past episode one, I could tell almost immediately that two things were going to happen:
1: EVERYBODY is going to hate this show.
It's the piccolo effect
@derekhibbard9018 what's a piccolo effect?
Hot take: Sonic Underground is just slightly cringe and is much better show than you remember. Main trio chemistry was pure gold.
"its fisting time" 💀
They should've called this show Wade & Knuckles
20:53 They should've made the knuckles show fully 3D animated to not worry about it.😂
18:44 to 20:15 I hate it when TH-cam contact creators can make up better stories than any execs in Hollywood these days.
Mario bros 93 is fire
Y’all will never make me hate this show. 😂
They could just made a movie of the 1st , 2nd episode and the last half of final episode and it will still be better than the show
Maybe if they got Ian Flynn to write the script, it might have been better
Personally I think the Boom writers would have nailed this premise.
“You’re rougher than the rest of them, Wade!”
I know this is bad and all but I do hope it's not forgotten about in the wider Sonic Cinematic Universe
Movie Knuckles is my favorite interpretation of him honestly and it was such a shame he got shafted hard on this show, and I think Wade is actually one of the better human characters in not just the movies but Sonic in general.I've seen your edit of this show into a movie on your Bluesky and it's so much better with the addition of actual Sonic music and better pacing,if that rumored Shadow spinoff does happen, then they have to make it a movie and not a show, and have it play in theaters so they can afford Keanu again and expand more on the Sonic stuff,Shadow sells himself on his own so I'm sure it'll be a hit and be the best selling movie of the year it comes out.👍
Lastly, the fact that Knuckles isn't even playing in the tournament was such a waste.
There’s also the IDW special, but again it’s a story where knuckles is taking someone under his wing, and his apprentice gets more of a spotlight than him on his own anniversary
The only difference between the two is the comic is fairly short, and I think Trip is far more interesting than Wade
THE FLAMES OF DISASTER
Yea, I definitely agree with your remaster of the show to be completely honest!
33:07 fin.
If a season 2 ever happens they need to lean more into the game lore like including the Chaotix which would be really interesting
I want the flames of disaster in future sonic video games
I have a theory if theres a sonic 06 remake itll be called Sonic Adventure 3 OR Sonic Adventure 3: The Flames Of Disaster
This show is genuinely so much fun to watch
23:19 oh THAT'S where he's from, i knew i recognized him
26:37 lmao, i was losing hope but you didn't let me down
31:50 “The ocko"???😂 ITS OH CHO, Spanish mi boy
I hope Brandon Trost gets to direct more movies
If episode 3 and "An American Pickle" proved anything, is that he can be a solid director
Which Knuckles episode/s did he direct?
@@ChannelPupEpisode 3
The shabbat one
This show definitely felt very rushed and we didn’t get much of a story from Knuckles which is a shame because he’s my favourite character in this franchise
I just like the series because has knuckles in it
Oh-
Its a knuckles show i guess
If that’s as far as the Knuckles Show will take Sonic seriously…Then I can’t really respect that
This is the honest criticism that the show needs. It could have been salvaged. Can't believe you liked the rock opera though lmao
8:55 What do you mean by that?
In the game Pachacamac is someone who will put his pursuit of power in front of everything, willing to sacrifice his family
... in the series is just a goof.
Thats... thats exactly what they are doing with Gerald, isnt it? serious in the games, goof in the movie verse. I havent seen the movie (obviously, i know you have pup so you'd prolly have an idea of how true this is) but they seem to be worried to tackle the more serious things of the sonicv story in the movieverse
Even though I can see all the flaws of the Knuckles show, I personally still think its a really fun show to watch, the goofiness of wade in the show makes me laugh so much and honestly my only complains with the final result is that I want wanda to be killed in sonic 3 I hate her so much, the buyer was defeated really easily and was underutilised a lot and the final bowling tourniment lasted a bit too long
I do think it should have been called Wade & Knuckles since it wouldn't have pissed so many people off + be a funny reference to S3K
Also FINALLY someone said that episode 4 is one of the best episodes for the show (hot take: it's my favourite episode)
00:48 😳
Technically, I did LIKE the knuckles show, but just barely. It’s a 6 boarding on a 5. However, I’m not to mad about it because this was really just an appetizer for Sonic 3. If knuckles does get a season 2, Stray away from the human stuff as much as possible. Just make the show animated at that point.
Yes, it was A Disappointing Spin-off. But it should be tails to got his own spin-off than knuckles?
if he did it would probaly be about him going on a road trip with, maddie's sister rachel and the show would focus less on tails and more on rachel and her relationship drama with her gun agent husband
@jskywalker58nah, that’ll happen in the shadow show, Tails will be sidelined in his show by having donut lord take over as the main character
Like the shows going “yeah look at all this dumb shit that we’re not even gonna bother putting in the budget to render cgi stuff, isnt this all so lame and cringe, can you believe people actually like this.” So it overall leaves a bad taste in my mouth
all i got from that scene was that the people behind the show are aware of what we actually want to see but refuse to show it
@jskywalker58If I remember, they wanted to tell Knuckles' backstory, but because of budget and time limits they couldn't animate the entire scene.
So the rock opera was the most practical option for them (and I personally love it for that).
Before this show i only knew Reno from fallout 2
Knuckles show is good when knuckles is on screen doing something cool... Which is overshadowed by all the other nonsense
Oh, I think the series would be better if it was about Knuckles telling stories from his past to Sonic and Tails.
I'm gonna watch sonic 3 on the 21st i wanted to watch it on the 20th but my dad have to go visit grandpa so my brother is taking me

Honestly I'd love to answer this question but trust me it'll be worth the wait to find out
@ChannelPup I personally would really like to see elements and characters from Sonic X and Sonic IDW in the movies.
I might as well go ahead and say that the first Sonic film was better, even though it took on a buddy road trip theme (That I honestly resonate with, but wish there was more action and game elements added in.)
I do understand why Paramount went with the live action approach - To attract a wider audience, give us their take on Sonic, and taking inspiration from one of the games while at the same time adding their own story to it.

We are getting a 4th movie
Someone needs to make a fan edit of this ... "Show", by removing all of the useless - non knuckles - stuff
This solidified my fear in the movie franchise cause it reminded me of how transformers were treated where the characters we actually wanted to see for were just in the sideline and used just to fight for cool action
