@@Rave0815 IDK about that.. It might be competitive in a few areas.. But better than Apple iphone 14 overall!! Is one hell of a call.. An EV maker coming out with their first phone.. & is competitive is good enough I would say.. But for NIO it's not about the phone vs other phones per say.. It's about how the phone is incorporated into the EV & specifically the user experience of the two & the phone complementing the car is the bigger picture here.. & not surprisingly nobody is there yet.. Now people will copy NIO, but will see if this Phone/EV thing will take off.. It has potential IMHO.. Certainly not reflected into the share price atm..
@@peterklausner9727 yeah nio is the pioneer of the car + phone combo so if it goes well and other companies start copying the idea, nio will at least have the first to market advantage in that regard. Only time will tell

Li Auto is doing brilliantly. Will Nio catch up?
Impossible they are hybrids and Nio is pure EVs.
Once people find out that lugging an ice system around in the car is not worth it, expensive servicing, small battery will cycle a lot and wear out quicker. I think Li Auto is trying to make an EV, and have to catch up with NIO, if I was Li Auto id be partnering with NIO for battery swap.

Well, as a Chinese tesla car is like LV, and Nio is like a wart mart brand. In addition the resale value of Nio car is horrible lose 70% of value because you don’t own the battery, while tesla resale is like 30% lost of value. People keep saying swapping battery will get you new battery, but the difference in resale value get you two new batterys
Thanks for breakdown. Still with the EU putting a lawsuit on china for unfair trafe practices and clearly there is no mercedes deal happening at least this year, seems like the company always has headwinds on creating more wealth for shareholders. Hopefully your sources did not just pump you to pump your followers. People should never believe others on partnerships not until is seen with own eyes. There is always a play that we dont see from other people
That Mercedes deal wasn't necessary for NIO to become successful.. They are successful now, up 4.87X from August 2020 deliveries.. They have done all of the heavy lifting regarding new models & r&d spending, power infrastructure build out.. To me the Missed Mercedes Benz deal would only give it one purpose.. That is to acknowledge to the rest of the world how good Chinese EV'S really are. Most people don't know and are oblivious to the fact.. It would just bring up recognition of Chinese EV manufacturers like NIO.. IMHO nio is getting ripped off massive amounts of billions of market cap valuation for one reason only.. It's Chinese.

Crazy how when nio is green, xpeng is twice as green percentage wise. But on the other hand when nio is down, it’s always down twice as much as xpeng. There’s just no love for nio. I don’t get it. I’m a nio shareholder but it’s definitely frustrating and confusing
They lose 2x 3x of money than xpeng. What do you expect?
