- Just thought this was kinda cool, ya know?
Update 4.36 for Falcon BMS introduces amazing new Probe and Drogue basket physics for air-to-air refueling.
The refueling basket can be knocked, bumped and even tipped to a degree when attempting to seat the in-flight refueling probe in the 'basket'.
Tanker platforms available in Falcon BMS 4.36
KC-10, KDC-10
KC-135R, KC-135E
KC-130H
C-160R NG Transall
IL-78M Midas
Tu-16N Badger
Meanwhile in DCS: READY PRE CONTACT 5X TIMES.
BRAKE AWAY, BRAKE AWAY, BRAKE AWAY
Because of that passion I see in your guys videos I’m seriously considering dropping DCS for this. Wags I hope you’re reading this
No law that I know of says you can't have both! Enjoy!
Fly both!! Both sims excel in different areas. Falcon BMS is an amazing sim and people would be crazy to miss out on the immersion and systems fidelity it provides.
BMS will continue to develop and expand into the very distant future. It’s an amazingly unique experience and tbh I think the guys at ED are already paying attention to this.
Nice. That sine wave on initial contact is looking good!
Thanks! Yes it's so satisfying after a plug to watch that big ripple. It's somewhat dynamic also.
I like how this actually takes skill instead of just flying close to it and then it automatically glues on to your plane
That is nothing short of impressive!
Wow! That really looks good!
Outstanding, looks good, looking forward to being a active member.
This video is just awsome. Makes me wonder why we have that bug of basket abrutply coming back in position instead of smooth....
To be honest, it's not too far from reality there. After disconnect the basket does 'whip' back to its natural resting spot quite rapidly.

Awsome! Perfect Video!!
Thanks Cypher! That's huge praise coming from you! :)
Meanwhile in DCS.....
Right? No float through your plane garbage.

@@sebas793 Tell me I'm not right. How is it possible that a group of friends can do this better than a millionaire company.
@@JoseMartinez-ez6uc aaaaah, you made a postive remark! Sorry, then I misunderstood . It felt like you suggested that DCS did it better. No I agree, it is amazing what they can do in BMS. If you like the f16, there is nothing better.
@@JoseMartinez-ez6uc I think that's the nexus of why we can see these kinds of additions in BMS and not DCS. The DCS business model means they need to work on new modules that they can charge for to keep their revenue stream flowing. The BMS dev's have the luxury of working on whatever it is they find fun.
In this case, it's so cool to see what happens when maths nerds and flightsim nerds work together to make features.
WHOOO
I think the RSAF F-16D should feature in a lot of missions when .36 releases. I didn’t fly it for the video but the new refuelling is super addictive!
DAAAAAAAAAAAMN
Can you fly the 18's as well?
Yes you sure can!
Drop date?
It’s out as of yesterday!!
DCS is better?
Not for basket refuelling. BMS has the more advanced modelling.
Dcs will be better when the Viper flies like a viper, has the dynamic MP campaign and has the physics that this has.
DCS will never have what Falcon BMS already has and what it will have as time goes on.
@@robertsartino7664 it will be more and more like BMS of course… Nothing is forever therefore also supremacy
@@milkovivaldi DCS would be for single mission and multiple type of aircraft and has been created like that falcon is more campain related with all the complexity and interconnexion between each target type and much more F16 than other plane ... if only i had the time i would fly both... since my time is limited falcon stays on top nothing beat a TvT with 20 people in the air after few days of war ... (sharkololo)
a pity that DCS is a very old game if it couldn't also have this kind of thing, kkkkkkkkkkk
watching it slinky up the hose like that is cool as fuck
