Donald Trump was working with Kenneth Gardner to bring them back bigger, stronger, and two to three stories taller. Frankly that's what I remembered when he ran for President in 2016. It's why I voted Trump than, in 2020 and again in 2024. I can't count the number of uploads calling for rebuilding the Twin Towers and Comments about how much they're still missed when I see them on other uploads. I definitely hope that enough people will bring this to Trump's attention when he gets back in the the White House THAT is when America will be able to fully heal.
@@APerson-ni1gb Trump is being taken much more seriously now. Like others I'm hoping that when all of this "stuff" is over, he might be approached to do that. It appeared that he had the chance. He was stopped by people in this nation who did 9/11 and used fear e.g.it will happen again. It happened because American politicians did it. But they had no problem building the ugliest thing they could. I still think it's worth a try.
Even though I don't dislike the current WTC, the original towers just go so hard man. Two giants of concrete, glass and steel, standing together tall and proud in union, dwarfing every building around them.
Having been born after 9/11 I can imagine my opinion is definitely be affected by that. However I would have loved to have seen these towers rebuilt, they were such an iconic addition to the skyline and whilst looking simple, they added so much to it. The WTC now sparked the beginning of this modern architecture slop that does not belong in NYC.
No, never use the same steel, that’s what caused them to fall in the first place, if u see the video of them being built, they used very thin floor metal.
Best edit so far. Not going to lie, I understand why they've built the Freedom Tower but it shouldn't be called One World Trade Center, the real World Trade Center were the Twin Towers. And after all, what we ended up with, is just a void in the heart of a city whose role is being the center of the world, a void which will never be filled again, until they'll rebuild them in the same location, even though the skyline will be different, and that's something which the new generations and us are going to live with until we die. We'll never going to have them back, and that bothers me a lot.
"All new yorkers understand we deserve something better and for my son"-are you sure buddy? The twin towers were iconic, tall, beautiful and even safe(if they would've not crashed into them). May be the original world trade center always rembered (1973-2001).
They already built the memorial and even if they did, people would start having flashbacks to the attacks probably. Also if they did, the one wtc would be next to it which makes it look kind of weird

In order for the Twin Towers to come back, they'd have to remove the Freedom Tower, and somehow make it work with the current design of the memorial.
