@MrGriff305 the main focus being the subject. Before 9/11 I would see the twins and just see them as the background to the main subject, which would be the actors. Now if I see them, I’m focusing more on the buildings and the surroundings to capture the vibe. I have a different emotion when seeing the twins in a movie or show compared to when I see the Empire State Building. I acknowledge it’s there, but I don’t have that same emotion. Kinda hard to explain

What gets me is when you see the towers is that they were such a good landmark reference, knowing which is north and south you could quickly get a reference on approximately where these filming locations where in NYC. Without them it's not the same.
Something I never realized about the video title is that 10048 was actually the zip code of the towers before they 9/11 (edit: i never saw the description of the video first many times i saw it up until i discovered it was the zip code without checking the description)
10048. They were that enormous that they were considered a city within themself. Nothing like it before or since, and missed as sorely as they day they fell with nearly three thousand souls within. Unbelievable, unreasonable, unforgivable.
I was going to the USA on that day, but from Portugal, I was all hyped up to see the twin towers, I wanted to go to the top. But my flight was canceled moments after the towers collapsed. I am glad that I survived but that doesn’t change the fact that I was super happy do visit the town towers RIP TWIN TOWERS AND THE PEOPLE THAT DIED THAT DAY
It is a headhsot for my soul to see the buildings.... beautiful buildings.... they are no more there anymore.... if they just do a second one World trade center without a antenna we would have back the good skyline....
I wonder sometimes if they installed zip lines to other buildings or somewhere safe, or some kind of slides that came out during a fire on several floors to the outside and down to the ground if that would have helped. I know parachutes wouldn't have done much if anything.
@@coreyrowe4119 Same thing could be said for the Freedom Tower, since it's not only a new World Trade Center, but also a memorial to the original towers, and represends American Freedom by being 1776ft tall. Imo they should have been rebuilt.
@@ok.6539 Freedom Tower doesn't get anywhere near the same level of attention or notoriety the old WTC did, the modern WTC the way it currently stands just doesn't feel like quite as much of an obvious target as the old version was.

I understand why many want the old World Trade Center rebuilt. Personally I don't think building an exact replica of the 1973-2001 era WTC towers is a good idea but I like the idea of the eventual 2 WTC being a twin for the modern 1 WTC (the new 2 can have an observation deck on top while the new 1 already has the antenna just like the original). A set of new age twins with plenty of nods recognizing the legacy and memory of the originals is the best way to do this imo.

Even people involved in the architecture of the new WTC said they would have rebuilt them if it were up to them. Rebuilding them stronger and taller would have been a middle finger to all terrorists. Instead they built a glass monolith that nobody really likes.

Feels like something from another timeline that never happened.
It might be painful at times but we have to remember that it happened for 28 years, they might be gone but they'll never be forgotten.
