Bro, this was the best animation that i've seen in a while, gotta say my favourite was the scenes of the book at the end, that delivered like a order in a my doorstep, sweet and subtle.
I love this! This has a lot of potential! I kinda wonder if this could be series that touches on creating OC's when you're young and how they tie in to the process of growing up. That portal animation was honestly amazing!

Dang Ashley's mom really screwed her over. I know this is for plot reasons but when your child is nowhere to found, don't you have anything better to do than to close a book ? Especially when it's stained. Even while not knowing that it's a portal to a magical world, closing a book with a big ink stain on it isn't a good idea since it could spread to the other pages. I mean I personally wouldn't mind this world so much considering that reality sucks and I wouldn't care so much that I can't leave (or more like I would try to not think about it too much and just focus on getting used to this new life), but still I feel bad for Ashley.
I remember trying to find pilots like these by searching it up and not being able to find one and now a week later they just start popping up on my fyp???
This pilot is great, my only complaint is the pitch of the character’s voices, not sound but voices are inconsistent but props to for this excellent pilot, love the art style btw👍

I would just like to say they I really appreciate the attention to detail. The fact that Ashley mostly draws with a pen and ink and I'm assuming most of the time she doesn't color her illustrations. So the fact that the paper world mostly consists of paper texture and black ink is a really cool detail! Especially since I can also relate to it since I only use a pencil and never usually color my drawings. I love the nostalgic vibe the world gave off and I really hope that you continue to turn this indie show into a reality!🦈💙 (sorry for my bad grammar)
