Make Brianna (Handmaiden) a Jedi Guardian

- If you get enough influence with the Handmaiden, you can learn more about her past. Eventually, this will grant you the ability to train her as a Jedi.
I'll be doing a whole series of these when I get around to it. :)

I don't think Kreia likes Exile making people force users, considering she wants to end the force. Its a betrayal of both of them, but notice how Kreia basically just sort of comes to terms with it, while Atris gets her reee on right in front of the other handmaidens.
@@shoopoop21 I think Kreia knows that her hate for the force is to strong that it not possible to make a decision which is fair to galaxy so she chooses a proxy the exile to decide what should happen next. Her time is over, but her teaching may survive or not if the exile can be taught. Also, the exiles jedi are true Jedi as they supposed to be which have seen the darkness by going on the journey with you in contrast the jedi master are hiding and cowering in fear of change.

Actually, I was cracking a joke about Kreia being the EXILE's mom. You know, because of the way she reacts about Visas and Brianna both. And she's always nagging, ect. ;)

When I fought her for the 2nd time I beat her and she straight up died, I couldn't even choose her from the party tab anymore.

You could turn Kreia's words over and over again in your head, pondering them. If the Jedi and the Sith were meant to balance each other, then what balanced the Jedi when there were no Sith? I think Kreia would consider 'balance' to all be a matter of perspective.
The Jedi certainly had no shortage of conflicts before the Sith. The Great Schisms, as well as numerous smaller battles and wars.
They always seem to create their own worse enemies.
No, the Sith are not meant to be balanced with the Jedi, it goes against their nature, what have the Sith done ever since their inception? They separated from the Jedi order because they wanted to dominate. And they dragged the galaxy to war again and again and again until they were destroyed...with the exception of Darth Bane, and even then they worked to undermine from the shadows, this resulted in the Jedi's near extermination and the Galactic Empire.
The phrase balance to the force is what was used, but a more accurate word would be "peace," the Dark side isn't actually one side of the Force, it's a cancer upon it, a cancer that's perpetuated by the Sith above all others.
Only when Vader and Sidious passed did the Force come into more balance than ever before.

The Jedi used to practice both the light and dark side. The moons on Tython would go out of balance if they practiced one more than the other

KOTOR is one of the greatest rpg's ever, the music is epic, the fighting is epic and the way you shape yourself between light/dark side is fucking epic, god damn I want a KOTOR 3....
I second this. It should of happened years ago. Just add,the ability to grind if you want a full fledged character and character dueling for online fights with your campaign character.

4:35 the way she worded that final statement; if it's true Kriea and Brianna are related, perhaps that was a tiny bit of motherly love she had toward her before abandoning it for her own goal. Furthermore, I would go as far as to say that Kriea didn't want Brianna to go down the path of the jedi because of what she endured and so it would be better if she didn't become one
I wish the force was treated are carefully as Kiera treated it. Unlike the new Star Wars movies

Dammit dammit dammit, I've tried to gain influence with Handmaiden. I just didn't know it was through sparring. And how do you gain influence with Atton? Through playing Pazzak? Atton is like a brick wall.
Listening to the conversation with Kreia so many years later, the stuff she says is like, so radical from what many people thought of star wars. The whole, "the force is not so easily classified as light and dark." It's just like. Wow.
I agree too. Nowadays people talk like this but back then when I was a kid? Absolutely not. It was black and white and this game was so incredibly far ahead of its time.

There's also other interesting bits of information; apparently, Nihilus was supposed to have been created as a result of the Exile severing his connection from the Force. In essence, Nihilus and Exile were the same person.
Darth Nihilus was what the Exile would have become if they didn’t deafen themselves to the force. Nihilus was stranded on Malachor and began to feed on the force of others.
And she will be flawed, it's funny because she would be able to be better then atris. I would train her as a grey Jedi though.

most of Atton's influence opportunities occur off the ship, through action, not conversation, whether you help or harm people will not matter to Atton, as long as you respect his opinion afterwards :) He's by far the easiest to gain influence with in the whole game, as the only thing that loses him influence is directly insulting him.
Or taking on the Disciple with him in the party.
Brianna is my fave Jedi trained in the game.
If Kreia did not want Brianna to know of her capacity with the Force, then why did she tell the Exile about it? Another test to see what you would do perhaps?

In case you didn't know, it was confirmed that both Disciple AND Handmiaden canonically traveled with the Exile. I'd assume the romance is non-canon, but hey, you never know.
It just sucks that no matter how you play, you can't actually get the true story. It isn't even possible with mods.
Party Swap is around now, though I wish I could straight up swap G0-T0 for Handmaiden.

Kreia isn't echani, Brianna is. All echani have white/silver hair and eyes, they're a subspecies of humans.
Kreia is indeed Arren Kae. Kavar leans towards that when he says to Kreia "I thought you had died in the Mandalorian Wars" another thing is that Kreia also claims that she was Revan's first teacher when other sources besides her say it was Arren. There are connecting dots everywhere
Desmond Howard Not only that but pay attention to Kreia's hair. Ad time goes on her hair shifts white instead of brown. She is a force sensitive Echani.
I am playing this game, March 6, 2023. I just made her a Jedi at level 13. I deliberately held her back and did lots of Duplication. Unfortunately 'Pimp the Handmaiden' didn't work this time, but I still got 150 robes, the hard way. I mostly run Handmaiden and Visis in the game, only using Atton, Bao Dur, and Kreia when I have to. I was able to get Micro Pulse blasters isn't do 56 points of damage. Much more than than my lightsabers, which are topping off at 41. I haven't built a 'Super Saber' yet. Can't get Kreia to upgrade my Crystal, only done it once, and I'm at level 22! Not going to go up many more times as I usually finish the game about level 25-27! I simply run out of game.
The scene on telos doesn't load, but instead it loads my character in and I can't leave...
did you ever find a fix?

I agree with you. A new X-Wing and Rebel Assault would be nice, too. There's some sort of X-Wing successor in progress: Fate of the Galaxy, based on the Engine of Freespace 2.
IIRC, in one of the interviews (LP Archive?) he was asked whether he was Kreia being Arren Kae was fact and he used his signature phrase: "Can't comment, but good catch." It means it wasn't exactly planned but he likes the idea or it was meant to be vague. (Usually both)
So if you come to the conclusion that Kreia is Brianna's mother, you wouldn't be wrong.
You got to have enough influence, and you need to train whith her until she says she's got nothing else to teatch you

She had never worn the robes before. Meets a jedi and after sparring she put the robes on immediately. Seems she wanted the jedi to ask her about the robes...perhaps she wanted to train as a jedi...?
It's Darth Bandon's armor form the first Kotor. Normally, you can't get it, but this video was made using mods.

Hey this might be sorta a nooby question but I'm still kinda new to the game and I only talked to Kreia after the first sparring when I fought Visas so can I still make her a Jedi or does she never become one now?

Damn...Kreia is like the perseptive Jedi/Sith in all Star Wars.
Star wars in a manichean universe. The dark side is indeed evil. Kreia's philosophy was indeed very interesting and great for the story, even if she was wrong in the Star Wars universe: tou can't really stay fully neutral, it's not the nature of the Force. You can try to reach a kind of balance, but ultimately you'll always "fall" in a side or the other, more likely the dark side
Just for anyone who gets stuck on Telos after they made Handmaiden a Jedi- I have had the same problem when I made a LS character but when I made a DS character and thus made Handmaiden a Dark Jedi, it worked fine. I'm still not sure why it gets you stuck on Telos when you are LS... But for some reason I didn't experience the same thing with the DS.

When all of this {{WAS}} canon I wish she was canon to the actual story as on the Fem Exile (Meetra Surik) path instead of just being that character you get exclusively for choosing Male Exile path. Now alas .... none of it is canon!!! ARGH!!!

but the mandalorian wars were mentioned on the star wars rebels show. so that at least has been cannonized, they even said they were going to have revan as a force ghost at one time but then changed their minds.

It doesn't matter, just get her to LV18 and have very high influence with her(which is easy if your LS).
Am I the only one who gets the betrayal cutscene with Kreia and then teleported to the empty academy? It’s a bug and there’s seemingly no solution I heard about it on PC but I play on Xbox One I would’ve thought they’d have patched shit like that up a while ago
This just means that they will level up with you, and gain more force-related abilities. Once you've made them a Jedi, that's all the training you've go to do! :)

What sucks is that I had thought on my last game save before I restarted I thought I had broken the game because it has been so long since I last did this and then I deleted 16+ game play and all I had to do was ask her some more stuff.

LucasArts needs to make a lot of things, like a new Grim Fandango, Sam and Max, Battlefront 3, a new KOTOR (the new MMO looks really good, but also a KOTOR that's single player and story driven), a new Jedi Knight/Dark Forces game, the list goes on and on. But all they seem to be focused on is the mediocre Force Unleashed series, a Star Wars Kinect Game, and the Clone Wars games.
Great Video... and for all who will try to follow path "Make Brianna a Jedi", crucial for final success is engage first sparring whit her right after leaving Telos Academy, and do second sparing before Visas will show up.
If you chose to wait until Dantooine and first you will speak whit Visas then its all over (Brianna will be in other words so pissed off that any further interactions will be impossible).
OK good *phew* one more question is it possible to train more then one party member casue I just got Mira to agree to go with me to Nar Shadda to do the listening thing

You need to spar with her 3 times, but you need to meet 'her' level requirements.
The first time, tyou have to be 12th (I think), the second time, you have to be 14th and the 3rd time, 18th

Agreed. She's just bitter she had a crush on the exile and never spoke out about it, then he left and did awesome stuff while she sat around a library. (I know it's not the canon, but hey I guess none of it is now. So that's my version) I think it makes her a tragic character from that point of view. But makes a good point that unrequited love in the long run if not filled with another love or dealt with, can turn a person down a dark and lonely path. And in this way I love it's done using a Jedi character. Because in some ways it's darker then the sith life, the sith use the force to free themselves, but atris can't free herself from loneliness and the feeling that wouldn't go away, even when she uses the dark side. And she is trapped by an emotion that should have no power, and yet has more power over her then the force, which is a powerful statement and all it is, is an emotion. And it at one point was probibly a pure emotion, to begin with, infatuation or a crush, but when she failed to say anything and he failed to pick up she loved him, she began to hate both herself and the exile. That is why she wanted him dead when he returned from the war. But also the fact that she partly hates herself is something she doesn't reconcile or admit, even though I suspect she knows. In my own head canon though I like to think she and male exile reconcile their differences and she finds redemption in that. After having nothing but hate but learning she has no reason to hate (male light side exile) and confessing her past feelings, he can show her he cares, and once they remake a connection she can heal herself and purge the dark side and then be a truer jedi. But I love this point that (even if just all in my head) that the thing that saved her from the dark side was her attachment to another who cared. And as Jole Bindo said "the problem with the Jedi, is they think love will condemn you, when in fact it will save you." And this is the perfect story that I think shows where the Jedi's weakness comes from, that they try to connect to the force and the universe but they won't connect with individuals even ones they would love. And what harms the Sith is they fight among themselves in large numbers, hence why rule of two makes them stronger. And what harms the Jedi is they are in a sense alone, when they would be more powerful through love not in-spite of it. And it (for me at least) shows the most powerful person is someone who has command of both light and dark, and is connected and has reason to fight. I would just love to see such a character made in fiction some how.

I already finished all the sparring matches, but neglected to convince her to put on clothes. Can I still do so? Also, is talking to Kriea critical? She won't talk to me without going to Dantooine, but Dantooine is bugged.

Ok I have enough influence and beat her in sparring 3 times but when i ask her who her mother was i dont have the same dialogue options all i get is "i had other questions" and "i'll be going now" also how do you get her name as Brianna she won't tell me her name even though my influence wit hher is very high
yep. I don't know why, but this has always been my favorite part of the soundtrack in K1. :)
Arren Kae is probably Kreia though.
Sorry. Modding an xbox would be tricky business, and I really have NO idea how to do so myself. You'd need some external hardware (like a chip), and even then, you'd void your xbox's warrenty. You're better off just buying the PC version. ;)
