When I was travelling to Singapore, people think I'm a Filipino many many times. So yeah, Indonesians and Filipinos definitely looks the same.
FYI: Rupees and Rupiah are different, India has a currency of Rupees and Indonesia has Rupiah

It’s really nice to have pinoys getting travel to Indonesia and have a lovely experience, because I felt that too when I travel to Cebu. They thought that I am pinoy so they keep to speak to me in tagalog but I keep replying them in english 😂 they mistakenly addressed me as manilas because I speak a lot of English but when I said that I am from Indonesia, they just be like: warm, ultra friendly, and welcoming. I never felt that before even in indonesia itself. So yeah, filipinos and indonesians are the closest cousins. Oh I really miss Cebu and I hope I can go back there! Have a nice trip in Indonesia ❤️❤️

As Indonesian if I could speak tagalog and fluent English like you maybe I would travel to the Philippines 😃 because we know Philippines are beautiful country in southeast asia especially the ppls are very polite and good in english too so i can go there without worry about language.

Just for suggesting, learn simple word of Indonesia like price : harga, spicy : pedas etc. And carefull with the scam, if u find something not normal just leave and try another one. And also try the popular food of many indonesia's area. U can search from Google maybe. Hopefully not only capital city of Indonesia, maybe another province's in Indonesia. Especially in another island, not only Java island.
