Actually, there are now 38 provinces in Indonesia including the addition of the new province of Southwest Papua. The buildings of the traditional houses of each province are built as authentically as possible I guess. And please do remember this is a traditional house, some provinces may still use this form of building but maybe there are also provinces that no longer use this form of house building but are more following the times. But we are still preserving and introducing these traditional houses to generations so that they will always be remembered that this is the identity of each province, the identity of the nation that must be preserved.

Provinces in indonesia is like states in US.
Every provinces, they have their own local language. Even in one province they have more than 1 local language. For the example, Banten Province has 8 city/region, and they have 3 local languages: Sundanese, Javanese, and Betawinese.
