Cool process and surprisingly fast too. I bet the riser spends longer in the de-burring and transportation period getting to and from the anodising than it does in the CNC machine.
Nice video. I think almost any archer just been waiting for somebody doing this video :D Now it would be interesting to see in contrast, how Win&Win produces their bows.
Just goes to show that you must tune your bow, there isn’t anything done from the factory other then “eyeball the center and Lock it down”. I don’t know how many people just put limbs on them and shoot them!
I have been in here for days now building one bow after the other. I lost track of time. I am growing weaker by the hour.. My phone is almost out of battery and my cries for help remain unheard. There's bows everywhere, I can barely hold my allen wrench anymore. If anyone is out there, tell my family I love them.......
Unfortunately the manufacturing of the limbs is not shown. That would have been much more interesting but I was told that no visitor of Hoyt is allowed to see this part of the factory.
Just shows that high end risers are the quality you pay for. The attention to detail and work that goes into them is astonishing!
Really sucks that we don't get to see the actual machining, it's the best bit.

I guess you made a lot of people envy you now :-) Must have been a very interesting experience ...

I was looking for the info everywhere: What aluminium is used for the Hoyt Xi. Now I know, 6061, thanks!! ;-)
How many bows did you have to build to be forgiven for the 200$ bow vs 2000$ bow challenge? :-P
Nice one! :D

I had neck pain... during practice..how prevent or control neck pain? Pls make a video
Did you get to see any of the mesmerizing milling? Makes sense that it's not in the video.
is it a good idea to threadlock the limbs aligment threads?
It's not really a glue, more of a putty that keeps them from vibrating loose. They won't be stuck
Would`ve been nice to see the billet being milled...maybe the machine is closed or no window?
The window was constantly covered in coolant and we couldn't see past it

How do we buy the riser you put together?
I think he said in the beginning of the video that he was mounting for himself....
@@herreragonza5891 I suppose, the title of the video is "Building MY Hoyt..."
