Dear Mr Kumar, you just saved me a ton of money! I didn't even open up the electronics - after looking at your video, I stuck a small magnet in the spot where the door used to have one (I honestly never even thought that it would have a magnetic sensor🙈) and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much.
@uroatia13 Hi, I literally just stuck a very small , flat, silver magnet using contact adhesive. It fell off of the lid after a few weeks, so i stuck it against the machine itself. This means that the machine now wash with the lid open. The magnet is round and about 10mm(1cm/1/2 inch - like one you will find in a magnetic clasp on a wallet or handbag - looks like a small battery) It is now 2 years later and my machine still works 100% I am sure any magnet will work, but a flat magnet allows the door to close properly.
Thank you my brother. I really can't afford a repair or replacement at this moment. You saved me a ton load of unwarranted expenditure through your kindheartedness . At least I can save a little more to acquire my POIO to return to Bharath one day.
Good karma for you mr Kumar! I knew there would be a simple fix,ive had my washer for 13 years and now maybe a few more! Much gratitude and blessings, namaste 🙏
Phenomenal and my washing machine no longer gives the error :) and is fully functional :) someone wanted $450 just to come and look at it, many thanks my friend. Your video was easy to follow and was done in a matter of 5-10 minutes
Thanks bro..you are trully my 100 bucks savior..i almost end up replacing my whole door sensor set..somehow i manage to find toy magnet and replaced the lost one..thanks a lot..
It was great help, or else I'd replace complete unit. Worked perfectly for my LG 5.5 fuzzy logic. Instead of magnet, it was metal piece in the front side and need to wrap it with Aluminium foil to tightly slide in to its slot. Then apply cellotype to avoid slipping. Thank you for sharing this trick.
Thank you for mentioning magnetic thing. Now I can fix my washing machine just becoz the magnet was fall off from its door. So I just glue the magnet back on it place. Luckily I didn't lost the magnet.
Lg 9.5kg it’s starting cycle fills up Then when it goes to next part of cycle (drain ,spin) The water goes in flat out then nothing dribbles into the machine ( only thing makes water start full is pause and start) Then if you leave it long enough error code 1E If you got a part for this I’d be more then happy to buy it This machine is out side and I only have cold water to both inlets it’s the only thing I can think of that might play with the function of it.

I can't find the magnet on the 12.0kg version
Just replace it with any small magnet and attach it like this video..
Thanks
Unfortunately this didn't work for me :(
Where I can find the magnet
it is well hidden inside of the door plastic you need to pry it open slowly.. in my case it was well closed and i nearly broke it
Tell me now my brother is 8 2 same as 8.5k
That didn't work at all
