I love you Edmonton! I lived in Calgary for 4 years and moved back to my hometown of Edmonton, nothing will beat it I love this city! Born and raised (:
Only problem with Edmonton is that sometimes we still like to think were a small city, with like 250 000 people living here, we don't plan out our future developments well enough, like main roads. Otherwise great place to live.
i tuned into a video posting the light rail system...i was very surprised to see the trolleys being used in this century on this transit system....skytrain may cost thrice as much but over the decades would prove have been the best choice/most inexpensive in the long run altho you'd never think so and then you've got the unscenic & costly tunnel network which can only prove worthy in the downtown area where many Starbucks dot the landscape.
Got a buddy in Edmonton. He's one of the happiest dudes I know.
so many amazing things are gonna happen in this city in the coming months and years. it truly is the Edmonton Renaissance!
I'm proud to be Edmontonian.
Canada is so new, building everywhere - future country!
Moving in 2 weeks, so excited
