In the country, we just do it. we don't call it anything. It's part of homeowner obligation to learn how to fix it and do it. Only city folks call it DYI cuz they're socialized to ineptness. It makes them feel special to label themselves as something. But in the country, we break everything and we fix everything.
I couldn't find my little floor jack so I had to use the jack from my pickup truck and it worked perfectly. Thank you for the idea

Thanks beating on my Maytag as we speak! Going to call it a night and get that jack at Harbor Frieght!
Took me 4 days to get the bolt off! If the agitator did not come right off, I was going to take my stackable and shoot it!
Currently rigging up C4 and a detonator. Will be back to let y’all know how it worked.
