As a rape survivor myself, if you let yourself sink into the horror of it, it takes a day ro two to recover with lots of bad stuff (anxiety, flashbacks, depression). Humor or other positive things are a common coping mechanism and can help you share your trauma without having to relive it

If that's the case, then a statistically effective way to clamp down on sexual abuse might be through tracking people who post negative online comments about sexual abuse victims. What I'm saying is that posting of negative online comments about SA abuse victims can provide a mechanism by which authorities can track likely perpertrators - maybe not so much now, but perhaps in the future if society becomes even more 'woke', or AI becomes more powerful, or legislation enables law enforcement to snoop into people's online activities more thoroughly, or if any increase in automation/efficiency/effectiveness enables a higher proportion of cases to be processed and therefore lower priority crimes to be investigated thoroughly. If any of those things happen, people who are currently posting hateful comments online might find their necks on the chopping block.

If that's the case, then a statistically effective way to clamp down on sexual abuse might be through tracking people who post negative online comments about sexual abuse victims.
What I'm saying is that posting of negative online comments about SA abuse victims can provide a mechanism by which authorities can track likely perpertrators - maybe not so much now, but perhaps in the future if society becomes even more 'woke', or AI becomes more powerful, or legislation enables law enforcement to snoop into people's online activities more thoroughly, or if any increase in automation/efficiency/effectiveness enables a higher proportion of cases to be processed and therefore lower priority crimes to be investigated thoroughly.
