I lived in a small town once. There was a "town deer". Dunno it's background, but it would wait at the children's bus stop before and after school everyday to walk the kids up the road to where they'd split off to go to their homes, it would be there waiting the next morning to walk them to the bus stop. Thru the day it could be seen around town at different shops and stores, accepting treats from people. We only lived there a year so I don't know what ever happened to it. I assumed it was a doe, it was relatively large and never sprouted antlers.
Maybe she became "of age" and finally got a bf and ran off to the wild woods with him and had a family.😄🦌
