That's why they offer different engines, ones a turbo which you can fit an altronic or haltech at some point and a larger turbo and a headgasket spacer. add coil overs, lower profile tires and you now have something daringly faster. But if that's what you're after, more fun to drive like a dick head then buy the more expensive version, the type r when it is released. I mean really this is a vti-s sedan for a family or young family. Different target market. Don't rate it down due to not living up to your own personal expectations of what it should be because you clearly are not thinking right,
People of a certain age will remember Hondas of the late 70's and early 80's such as the Accord and Prelude that were luscious cars. Yes they were expensive but the premium was worth it. Then Mazda spoilt the party by releasing the front drive 323 covering both potential Civic and Accord buyers. Honda has never really discovered it's mojo since and Mazda is laughing all the way to the proverbial bank.
