    My point is simple: in a democracy, a nation of donkeys will only be successful in electing the best donkey as its leader. But military dictatorship is still not the answer. What you need to do is to separate the legislative (national and provincial assemblies) and administrative (local bodies and councilors) parts of the government. The legislative part should be selected by the president (civilian dictator) with no concept of an opposition (beyond consultation and advisory roles), while the administrative part should be elected.
    Henry Ford famously said: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.”. The problem with having democracy in legislation is clearly visible with civilian coups such as VoNC, and no real legislation because short-sighted civilian representatives have no interest in statesmanship, only narrative-building and pulling the chair from under the opponent.

    If not structural reforms then what Pakistan is going to do?
    Afghanistan like condition---buffer state---as conditional establishment of Pakistan to destabilize global east.
    If the more development happens in India, the more Pakistan will destabilize the region.

    I think you also need to highlight Bangladesh's economy from 1971-2011. If Pak Army were such a leech as Indians usually claim, it wouldn't have taken Bangladesh 40 years before turning the tables. Pakistan's GDP per capita was at par with India's in 2008 when democracy won the war in the country.

    • @vinsin328
      @vinsin328 ปีที่แล้ว

      He explain, it takes usually 2 generations to build economy. Yes Bangladesh has done better than expected due to population control, women participation in work force. It just shows the extend of destruction that Pakistani did on Bangladesh, so world is right. Pakistan need to compensate for it yet.

    • @ibratnak
      @ibratnak ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vinsin328 Bangla also faced political instability and army's interference. Economic development is usually a multi-generational process, but not in Bangladesh's case.
      Also, we've been told East Pakistan had all the factories while West Pakistan leeched their resources. If that were the case, Bangladesh would have prospered sooner.
      But history is history. Bangladesh currently has more women in the workforce than Pakistan can even imagine. We have allowed regressive mullahs to dictate terms instead of exterminating these pests.

    Interesting video but don't you think the territory in which Afghanistan & Pakistan exists historically raided India or used its surplus to survive and now, when nation states have to remain within their borders, both these countries are facing economic issues? Pakistan has to bear the defence cost against AfPak border without even worrying about India. Pak prospered prior to 1971 by treating Bangladesh as it's colony and afterwards, prospered only by extracting geopolitical rents. Now that those dollars have stopped, it's facing issues. Because the problems of electricity theft and land-politician nexus exists in India too. Also, exporting is not as easy today- Vietnam ends up winning against Indian efforts!

    • @vinsin328
      @vinsin328 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are absolutely right, and the way subcontinent Muslims use religion as a reason for being against rationality and science. Their heroes are ones who burned universities and libraries. India electricity issue is due to politicians trying to distribute it freely. Many Indians vote just for free votes, mixer, bucket, cycle, etc. India doesnt have DHA.
