The hired gun is dead. The outlaw is dead. The gunslinger is leaving….. The woman has survived and is greeting a new breed of men are who are arriving….the builders. All said with no words. Epic filmmaking!
I was in Almeria for the second time this year, visitting these old western arenas and places, this railroad track was only made for this, sequense, and are only like 5-600 meters long. A hell of a job consider this is long time ago, and they had to transport the locomotive on big trailers, the msin road is located 200 meters behind where the locomotive started, and Now the locomotive is parked for good in a Spainsh city ferder south in Spain. I also visit Flagstone, La Callahora + some ither nice western places.
Whoa! I’ve been working on my own reconstruction of the corrected ending for an OUATITW edits documentary I’m working on. I’ve had to use a variety of sources to try and get around the reissue spinning title so I’m extremely curious what source you used and how you managed to recreate the original English title! That was stunning to see. I’ve only seen the German and Italian credits outside of the English reissue credits.
Thanks! Love your channel :) Basically this is the old 2011 BD, the Italian CVC DVD and the laserdisc audio cobbled together with the credits being a digital re-creation.
I saw this film on first release in Arizona, in 1969; this played only in second-tier theaters. I cannot remember the film title (which did not appear at the beginning) just dropping down from the top like at 3:09 minutes, believe that it spun/rotated like here th-cam.com/video/ne0PXeBHe60/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/NBno8SG421I/w-d-xo.html I cannot remember if there was "Cheyenne theme" as exit music or not.
It's really incredible that Paramount isn't able or isn't willing to release OuaTitW as it originally was released theatrically in 1968. Will you also restore the first 12 min by adding the 70 missing seconds and cut out the short scene with Bronson nursing his wounds? That they up to this day did not even change the obviously wrong closing music is kinda hard to believe.
this is the greatest western ever made its an insult to his memory to change anything in this movie .

@@TheLoon Is the LD audio in sync with the UHD (e.g. Eagle)?
In terms of pure entertainment The Good, The Bad,& The Ugly is Leone's best movie but as a work of art its this movie great story and characters

Yes, planning that also!

The fact that Paramount hasn’t restored the beginning either is deplorable.
