masterpiece in it's own right. Thank you david for never tiring to share it with us . . .
Agree... this particular concerto is unique and one I will never tire of listening to... I have several more recordings that I intend to set to the score.

Everything that begins with an expression of tragedy ends with a beautiful emotional charge. The dialogue builds a melody in each of the movements. Vital! it's Mozart ..
Beautifully said Eva. Echoes my own thoughts. I have listened to this piece more than 30 times, it is always a mystery.
The Allegro is overall piano, mp, mf and sometimes forte. Lovely, calming interpretation. Beautiful phrasing and passagework. The bass line is not lost but plays a prominent part in stabilizing the growing excitement of the melodic theme. The interplay between soloist and orchestra is perfect. Piano runs are smooth as silk!! Nuanced volume and phrasing. No surprise! The Cadenza is beautifully fashioned. The Romanze captivates me with its clarity and beauty. No sentimentalizing or schmaltz. The purity of her tone is steady and evenly weighted, producing a sound resonant and enviable. The quick transition to the closing Rondo is enlivening, invigorating -- fresh!! Again, the volume is subdued with nothing above forte usually, with an occasional foray into fortissimo when running to top of phrases. Barely fortissimo! Gorgeous Concerto!! Themes running through Rondo are worth their repetition. This is a good place to give the excellent orchestra it's due. Always playful and flexible, its echoing of and interplay with solo piano thematic material is consummate. Perfect use of pedalling throughout! The final Cadenza is intricate and wonderfully wrought...building to final statement of theme. Overall arc of Concerto is evident and nicely accomplished. Brava, brava!!

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieses perfekt komponierten Konzerts mit klarem doch anmutigem Klang des genialen Soloklaviers sowie gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und fast himmlisch. Der intelligente und erfahrene Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Kammerorchester im detaillierten Tempo und mit angenehmer Dynamik. Echt faszinierend!
Ich stimme völlig mit Ihnen. Diese Aufnahme ist definitiv die beste Wiedergabe, die ich je gehört habe. Mozart war und bleibt der größte Komponist, der großartige Melodien wie diese geschrieben hat!
