The quality of life living in Germany is way better… less pollution, better healthcare, better transportation and lot more, so you can’t say that your living will be better in India at same salary that’s not even close to the truth… better infrastructure and trust me it’s very quiet
Do you live in Germany?
@@KruthikaSreenivasan_why
@@KruthikaSreenivasan_Who tf told you this? German healthcare is among the best in the world
@@troyeakb6314 I am staying here, I have faced it. Doctor appointments are only possible if you're about to die. In India, you get a clinic in every street, they do home service and if there's any issue, you can go to these health centres as they are nearby
@@troyeakb6314 statistics tell Germany and other neighbouring countries have labour and specifically a shortage of healthcare workers that they are putting several efforts to attract nurses and doctors practicing in India and other neighbouring countries.
Because Germany has way less healthcare workers. I'm not bashing you country, I love Germany, it has got better food and aur quality plus, the system is very neat, but facts are facts.
20 LPA in India is high income. You can afford decent home, car, healthcare, schools etc. You can hire maids, eat at decent restaurants and afford holidays in India and surrounding countries. You can also save / pension schemes / insurance / build a decent wealth portfolio. To me, that is good enough quality of life. Living close to your family and celebrating your own culture is priceless.
and you can travel to places like germany easily with your savings !
More like living in a shit heep

Sometimes it is better to move to a different country like Germany where you can get quality education for your kids. Being in open category with 90 percentage is useless against 60 percentage in sc st category. Sad to say, education has become business in india even if the country has grown in different fields.
60 percent in sc st category 😂 😂😂😂
What about quality of life?? The environment health conditions and education??? Even if it's so still worth it ❤ only savings doesn't matter
Money is king…. this is the scam that every welfare nation does . They are going to take all your money from you and you are going to enjoy it 😂
Exactly
Quality of life in Germany is among the best in the world
@geranienbaumexplain
If you are earning 20lpa your quality of life won't be bad anyway except for the unavoidable pollution (but that too is avoidable to a large extent if you work and live mostly in ac environments). You can afford healthcare at the best hospitals for the most part and buy healthier, organic varieties of food. I would say middleclass and lowerclass people definitely have better standard of living in Germany, its just that if you're upperclass in India your money can quite literally buy you a whole new standard of life.
What about parents? Where they will live...
I think you are confused. In India tax rate is 30% for 20LA, Which means even with your EMI, Principle, Health insurance you cannot save not more than 4L for tax exemption, in this case for Emi you have to pay 48K P/Month, as per your saving it would be 1.1L p/m and not 1.5K, then again kids schooling ,for 2 kids it would be 2.5 L/A, then 1.1L - 21K = 89K, House general needs per month is 40K nominal (Petrol, EB, Internet, Groceries & Veggies), which is 89K-40K = 49K would be max savings not even close to 1.1L
👍👍👍
True
Who said u shud have kids and marry that's the biggest chutiyap
Quality of life is completely different from money and salary
German cities like Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin rank in the top 30 best cities to live in the world
Quality of life ≠ money
You will be homeless in those best cities if you don't have money

What about environment, Security, social security services?
Trust me whoever earns 20LPA in India will not get anything below 80000 euros in Germany
its nothing like that. It depends on company how much they want to pay you.

I live in Berlin as a electrical engineer ... If you have package of 25lpa India which too high and possibility is less and if we talk about highest salary in Germany is 1,10,000 euro.
After paying all taxes in hand salary is 16lakh in India and 75000(₹ 41,04,000 ~ 41LPA ) in Germany.
Is 2500€ (NETTO) a good salary, thats what Ausbildung nurses earn around! Is this enough to live a comfortable life and buy a car and house down in future? Pls let me know
Lol only the top ,top senior guy earns 110k euros. And that too after like minimum 10yrs exp. You can get 25lpa salary around half that time here if youre in engineering. Not to mention, you csn claim taxes here unlike in germany...
@@thevinarokiarajl2149I’m in a spot of choosing German career, your help will be valuable for me, should I opt for MBA in india or get MS in Germany and develop career there after?
@@thecerebrum. hi..it depends on your experience level now. So for MBA it will be exact 2 years but Master's there, if you choose technical fields like electronics or CS, it will take 2.5 to 3 years(coz thesis as it will take more than 6 months) and after that, your salary depends on your exp level. If you have 2 yrs of exp, your pay will be around 55 to 60k euros which will be 3k euro per month after taxes. You will be spending more than 1k euros coz traveling and eating out frequently compared to when you were a student and you will be sending home about 2k,maybe even less coz after 2 yrs , inflation and house rent will deffo increase there. So it will be like earning a salary of 1.5 to 1.6L per month. Now , after MBA here, your average salary will be kinda the same as stated above. So, to round off, after MBA here, if you get 20+ lpa, stay here, it's better here. If you think it will be less, then you can plan accordingly. Check purchase power parity to get better idea..
@@thevinarokiarajl2149what if you go there and work for 10 years and then come back with a saving of 1 cr at the age of let's say 40. Could you save this much in India? Definitely not
Edit: My senior has been working there for 4 years and he said he has already saved around 50 lac.
Monthly expenses for a single person is not 1900 euros in Europe
Depends on many factors
so is it higher or lower?
@@lokeshwartailor8250 it is possible because after u get a job, your spending will increase due to tourism, eating out frequently, clothing compared to when you are a student..u can consider 1.2-1.6k euros perhaps slightly more..
Its way more expensive
I think it'll be near to 1000 euro
This is such a basic categorisation, you have absolutely not taken into consideration that in India you need to save up for Children's education, primary schools cost around 1lpa, all of that then college... education in Germany compared to this is wayyyyyyyy cheaper. Secondly you did not take into account healthcare. Indian families save/invest large chunk of their income for healthcare.
If India was better, why did you go to Germany?
We also have insurance man 😂😂
40000 cost of living in india😂😂😂
I think I need to shift to a village to make it a reality..

Yes, then it's worth it. All the best!

Cost of living 40k in Bangalore is a joke. Rent 30k groceries 8k EB, WiFi, maintenance, maid 8k, petrol 5k, kid school fee 10k per month. Miscellaneous 10k so all around 70k without car EMI. If add that too then 90k per month. Savings around 40k
Germany
Rent €1400 groceries, EB, WiFi, maintenance, insurance €1000
Savings 70k
School fee free, medical free. Quality of life 💯 work life balance💯 don't have to spend 4 hours a day in traffic.
It all comes down to one's preferences.
As woman, I'd rather live on minimum wage in Germany than on a 1cr per annum package in India.

But do consider after paying off for kids education in India every month if you admit them to best schools. Min 1L per year.

Not sure 100% about Germany..with the information i have..the life will be secure after 40 and good benefits to maintain the rest of life…
Most important aspect (education costs) didn’t cover in the video..in India 20% salary goes towards education
What is a good salary as a single parent with two kids? I am talking making enough to buy a property down the line. I have a bachelors degree and speak English and German at the native level.
For buying property you need to have good amount of savings 10%-20% of house price. Plus you need high paying job. At least 75k - 80k euros plus euros yearly salary for single earner with kids.

Not at all. 2500€ isn’t enough, as cost of living is pretty high in Germany. It’s gonna be extremely hard to buy a car, let alone to save for a house. Consider: your rent, food, public transport, eating out, taxes and so on.
@@alechasanov thank you for the reality check! I was planning to come as a skilled nurse but thank you for saving my life! Means a lot! Also, this 2500€ which is hard as you said, is just netto or brutto? Could you tell me
Thats fantastic salary

@@traceymarshall5886you live in Germany..?
1. When you have 20l package in India you can’t save 1 lac per month its impossible. Where is rent /emi/ maintainance/ car/ bills/ it all will cost u around 1 lac. So at the month end you will hv nothing.
2. In germany a post graduate with above basic salary can easily save 1 lac per month.
3. In India you work 9 hrs , In germany you work 7 hrs only.
4. Of course there are many best things in India that no country can replace.
But in terms of salary the above research from video is not correct..
It's a fake calculation of Indian taxes. 20LPA in India comes under 30% tax slab. If get 1.5 lakhs exemption for tax and hra upto 3 lakhs. Still you should pay 30% tax for 15.5 LPA you will end up paying around 4 lakhs as tax.
In india we have to wait for 3 to 6 years for 20 lakh. But in Germany we need only MS degree for 50 Lakh.
Yes but in 20 lakhs you can live like a king in India. But in 50 lakhs in Germany you have to think before spending even 5 euros every single day. It depends on what your life goals are. Good savings or life abroad
@@wanderess_priyankabasically you’re telling us to not to move abroad. For what exactly???
@AnamShaikh-un5zc I'm telling you to take decisions based on some research and what is financially better for your situation. I talk to many people who regret after moving so learn the difference before leaving a good job and so much ease in India.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this insight!
She made you an Id!ot
Don't believe this rubbish lol
The breakdown of salaries is totally flawed, the Indian salary doesn't include any PF and employer contributions which are part of the CTC.
whereas in German salary you forgot to mention the Pension, health insurance, etc. components and labelled the whole 20k as tax.
I'll try to make a detailed video about german salary structure.
But if u consider education for kids all those cost, germany is better right. Also work life balance
tax deduction in india will be 6L not 2L since it is 30% income tax.
😂😂😂😂😂
Baby there is a huge difference between gross income and net income
I am a ca student
And my uncle income is around 21 lakh
I file his itr And it's around 1,89,000
😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@innocentstudent- you are CA student dont act like a CA...
But the problem is 20lkh per annum is very rare. In India there are very less people who earns 20lkh in 12 month. Most of the people in india earns 10lkh or less than it. So we can't compare this to german life. Because in Germany they earns around 1lkh inr per month. And day by day it will increase.
Most people who book consultation calls with me earn more than 1 crore per year as a couple. 1 lakh is the saving in Germany. Depending on job you can earn more in Germany.

First of all the take home salary of 20L package is definitely not 18L(tax is even higher and you didn’t seem to have considered PF, gratuity and other deductions). And what about the indirect taxes levied upon us in India? Did you consider a factor about children’s educational expenses in India? Please do your own research before making such comparisons!
