    CHANGE THE WAY YOU APPLY FOUNDATION FOREVER
    • THE MOST AMAZING FOUND...
    Wayne Goss Brush No. 10 World Wide Delivery! www.beautylish.com/s/wayne-gos...
    This tip builds upon the last tip about using oil in your foundation. This is a hame changer. What we want is gorgeous skin not painted to filth. Skin that glows. Skin that looks real. Skin with dimension. Not stripes all over the face so thick that you need a pound of makeup to cover them. This is real beauty. This is beauty how i see it. This is the way to contour and highlight so that no one knows why you're glowing.
    Tip three will be available next week which will show you an amazing way to reduce oil, stop your foundation changing colour and powder you skin so it looks like nothing is on :)
    NOTE: This tutorial is exaggerated for effect and i do not recommend you use this amount. Though it can still look like skin, its really not necessary.
    NOTE 2: Women of colour will tend to highlight more than contour and women with lighter skins will tend to contour more than highlight.
    If you read all this please thumbs up :) and if you really want to make me happy - please share on twitter, Facebook etc... thank you x

    This should tell everyone how fabulous putting the oil in the foundation is. I'm going to be 64 in 2 months. I had to go to my pain management dr. several days ago, because I have fibromyalgia. I walked in and every doctor and nurse complimented me on how glowing I was. Wayne, not many 64 year old women in pain can glow. My hat's off to you!

      Rachelle Wells i agree as well,he's very trendy yet not caught up in all the crap and talks so very calmly...i personally have learned quite alot from him and that's saying alot bc most other YT beauty gurus just speed through and go on and on ab a product they usually don't even like..not to mention he's like a 💎 ,i just stare at his face and eyes like he's the most beautiful person alive 😂..maybe that's why I learn so much from him 😁💞 jk but he's awesome

    What was everybody's favorite Wayne Goss tip in 2014?
    Mine was definitely the one where you use rose water in between each layer of face makeup. Up until then I HATED foundation and everything that came after it. However, using the rosewater hydrates my dry skin and eradicates any possibility of cake face. My actual skin shows through and now it's my holy grail every single time!

      I discovered Mr. Goss's channel in 2014, and the first video I watched was the one showing where to correctly apply blush. I felt like an idiot (but it was a good thing). :-) Since then I've learned so much, but that was my favorite tip.

      I'd have to say that I remember his video where he talked about it being ok to powder BEFORE applying liquid foundation, and I had never heard of that before. I thought that was a taboo in makeup. And also, I learned from him that primers work best when "like speaks to like". who knew?

Watching all the caked up and bettered/airbrushed/photoshopped versions of normal-looking people sometimes used to make me question myself... You really help me like myself the way i am.. It gets people to watch his videos! But I agree, everything is the most amazing, the best and so on, but sometimes it's very average.
      But it's a clever idea of Wayne :)

So recently I tried what she told me to do. And guest what?!! I get sssooo many compliments on how flawless my skin looks. I tell them it's makeup & they say your should be a makeup artist. I say, I'm an Accountant, I don't have time to do everyone's makeup. 😂😂😂

      +Jennifer Ann Fox (Feathers in the Nest) I actually put rose hip seed oil in my foundation every morning (I use Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Wear Foundation), and I think it's wonderful. I usually have oily skin and need to blot during the day but adding this to my morning routine has helped with oil production during the day. Also, since rose hip seed oil has natural cell rejuvenation benefits, I find that it has lightened my acne scars as well as retained its elasticity and youth.

    Hi Wayne, is it because I used fresh's mineral oil, but the foundation went really orange when mixed with the oil. I love the idea and it works wonder with dehydrated skin, but the change in color of the foundation made me wonder if I should use a white based oil. The oil I used is a bit on a yellowish side. xoxo

    Can you do a "tip" for oily eyelids?
    I have very dry skin but my eyelids are SO OILY. I am pretty sure it's hormonal so I'm def taking care of that at the doctors office but in the mean time- what do I do to stop my eyeshadow from creasing and looking awful??! my eyeliner doesn't transfer so atleast I got that going for me:(
    Love this tip though. Thanks for the advice!

      After struggling myself the only two I've found to work for my extreme issue is urban decay primer potion THEN lime crimes eyeshadow helper and i simply powder overtop! Work as quick as you please Works like a dream!
      However if i had to recommend one it would be lime crimes eyeshadow helper it is amazing! :)

      LITERALLY GURL BUY THE NARS EYESHADOW PRIMER AND THANK ME LATER. BEST BEST BEST FOR OILY EYELIDS. END OF STORY.

    • @mellabella120

      I have horribly oily eyelids as well. I've tried so many primers, and the only thing that I've managed to make work is NARS eyeshadow primer with a matte cream eyeshadow in a color close to my skin tone over it (I use MAC Painterly, but Soft Ochre would be good for a yellower skin tone). Then I'll proceed to use a powder eyeshadow for the look I'm going for.

      Melanie K Exactly! Best combination ever for oily lids.

    • @daisydose1
      @daisydose1 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, so you suggest the NARS eyeshadow primer or the mac painterly? I am currently trying out painterly on my eyes... I don't know if I didn't put enough or what but it creased within 10 minutes- even with powdering it with a matte eyeshadow. I have a little more on my eyes today, and didn't notice any creasing. We will see after 5 hours though! Melanie K
      Thank you guys for the other suggetions! I see that the NARS one is very popular... I was actually researching it but it's a bit too expensive for my taste :(

    What would be the process when a color corrector has to be applied to do away with dark under eyes? I understand sheering the highlighter and contoure but think that sheering the concealer out on top of corrector would move the product around. What a beautiful application and turn out!!! I understand your excitement about the results it can have.

      i use a lot of orange corrector for my hyperpigmentation. if i don't want it to budge i powder it with mineral powder before layering my concealer. i use a no-water, all-oil formula for my foundation and it glides over the corrector beautifully. you just need to test out various combinations! good luck!

    • @vga1738
      @vga1738 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I use corrector and concealer on my undereyes first. Then when I do my foundation and contouring I avoid that area completely or just pat around the edges to blend it. It still looks completely natural and gives a wonderful glow. So I imagine you could just use this method everywhere else and still get the same result. Sorry if that's not quite the answer you're looking for. But I too find that correctors tend to move around too much and become useless very easily.

    Wayne! Today I tried the "Add oil to foundation" with sweet almond oil with a foundation that tended to make my face feel dry by the end of the day and I was amazed that during application, the foundation blended really nicely and when I check my face at the end of my day, the foundation was not emphasizing any dry patches and looked really fresh!!
    Thanks so much for the tips, I never would have thought it would have worked!

    Wayne, I have tried the "inverted triangle with light concealer" and the dark color contouring techniques....several several times....boy DO I LOOK LIKE A STUPID CLOWN!!! But almost all the youtubers look amazing with this technique! Oh well!

    • @TraceyAnita3
      @TraceyAnita3 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I had a problem with that technique as well until I stopped using such a big triangle and REALLY a blending it out. It's a pain but keep trying with different sizes

    • @tiafuqua
      @tiafuqua 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I had the same problem and Tracey Nickens is spot on. I had to switch up the size of my triangle too bc the further I dragged it down the longer my face looked. Which wasn't cute since I already have a super long face lol. I also changed the width of my triangle. So instead of it reaching by the side of my nose I would cut it off shorter. I hope that makes sense.

      LOL I have a problem with the eye makeup looks. It looks wonderful on the gurus on youtube but when I do it, I look like my eye is diseased or I've been slugged in the face.

    • @Sirenamia777
      @Sirenamia777 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      keep trying and what works for me is use a concealer that is not so light or blending the light one A LOT. same for the contour using one closer to my skin tone. I actually just use a powder foundation and you can use a liquid foundation too on a darker color . You are gorgeous btw :)

    • @Sirenamia777
      @Sirenamia777 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bibimbapski happens to me too one thing I CAN'T DO AT ALL put eyeshadow under the eye and "smoke it out" it just looks too panda-ish on me lol... I put a really thin line of darkbrown powder like it was eyeliner and it makes my eyes look more defined. But ever since I got eye brushes i feel like they do all the job for me , that helped me out a lot. still learning.

    I love watching makeup videos on TH-cam, reading blogs or browsing on Instagram.. but quite often I do wonder what some of the makeup looks like in real life. If the foundation and powders look cakey, if the strong/Instagram brows look stupid, if the contouring and highlighting looks ridiculous.. I think you kind of get that too. I like that you show us ways to be creative and enjoy makeup, as a way to enhance beauty not cover it. You are amazing and I've learnt so much from you over the years. Lots of love xx
