My tip is to go with someone that has all the stuff 👀
lol!
Fire extinguisher or Element fire extinguisher
Ratchet straps in case something breaks and you can strap it back together to get off trail or back home. They honestly work in certain situations
Keeping the winch controller readily available in arms reach is key. Don’t want it tucked in the back of your Jeep or in the bottom of a bag MIA when you’re hanging off a hill or under mud.
Hope Ryan has some All terrain tires and keeps the unprotected side of the Jeep safe.
That UV-5R is not a walkie talkie. That is a HAM radio and does technically require a license to use it, but not to listen with it. And just so you know, you can also use it as a GMRS radio, also technically illegal, but it does work😆
Would love a JK playlist in the future. A lot of Jeep user Ik haven’t upgraded because it’s easier to customize the jk
Love all your videos Matt. Please keep it up!
Glad you like them!
Can’t wait to see that lil 2 door all done up! 🔥🔥🔥
Bad ass video again brotha! You and Ryan slayed it! 🔥🤙
Thanks Tony!
Oddball “looseness” that I’ve had - FUSES. I had loose fuses that caused errors. Simply firmly checking and setting every fuse in the panel is something important you can do.
Good call!
+1 to this. I had a few loose fuses on my factory new JL when I first picked it up. It's an easy thing to check and fix, just pop the cover off the fuse box and make sure they're all seated.
Great video. I personally laughed at the seasucker stuff when I seen it at sema last year. After checking it out I was impressed with them. I recently got some to try and all there products are awesome.
They have a lot of cool products!
Thank you for the tips!
Thanks for watching!
Im always up on the air on how much tools and what tools to really bring when wheeling.
Don’t forget the pump to air back up. I use a VIAIR 440P that is pretty quick. Also, throw in some soft shackles, a tree saver or two, and a non-stretchy tow strap. The Factor 55 snatch ring rope retention pulley is nice and lightweight, instead of a heavy snatch block - if you can stomach the price!
Good call!
Another great video… I’ve actually been thinking about this very question as I’m hoping to start getting my Gladiator ready for next summer and hitting the trails with some friends from work… as always great work and some awesome stuff to consider!!
Keep up the incredible work!! 👍
Thanks as always for watching! Check out our most recent wheeling vid!
Great wheeling tips!

Sure thing! Check out our most recent wheeling vid
Can’t wait till the next video to see what that sport can do.
👍👍
Rauch Creek is a good time for sure.
Hell yeah!
I'm just trying to figure out why my gasser sounds like a diesel when in reverse. The dealership can't seem to mimic the sound and it happens randomly.
Have you considered upgrading to soft shackles?
Definitely recommend soft shackles. Strong, light and safe.
Matt and Ryan I have a set of barricade enhanced Rubi rails for a 2 door JL I am willing to part with for free that was on my old 2020 Jeep. The passenger side rail has a small dent but does not impact the function of the rail at all.
Are you in the PA?

Isn’t the BaoFeng a ham radio?
The UV-5R can be used on Ham frequencies and GMRS. I think FRS as well but I'm not 100% sure.
Yes, the UV-5r is a ham radio. The older ones will transmit on the frs and gmrs frequencies as well. By fcc rules, only ham radio operators are supposed to use them…and there are some hard core ham operators that will be sticklers on it. But from what I can tell, the fcc cares about the higher power output radios being used that interfere with “legal” usage. These lower power UV-5r on simplex channels are used by many in the off-road community without hitting repeaters and “clogging the airwaves” because they are so cheap and work well, for what they are.
What’s the name of your Dealer and POC? I’d like to talk to them about the 2024 JT
