Guess the best spots to build some secret fleets and the likes would be planets outside a solar system. They would be super hard to find , as they were not orbiting a star, so if only you knew its position, you could have secret holdouts there, massive automated ship and equiment building facilities that could resupply you, with your enemy not knowing for certain where you got your stuff from. Like, maybe you find a giant gas planet with a large number of moons lightyears away from the next solar system. You'd just mine the moons for its metalls to build ships and weapons and the gas giant for its gasses as fuel and atmospheric gases for crews.
I have a question what does the empire/first order do with their dead storm troopers seems like they would have a lot of em. And for that matter damaged vessels. a special place from where they came from etc...
#AskEck I have 4 questions all related to same ship 1. Were there Y wings present during the battle over Corusant I ask since we dont see any during RoS, if not is there an in universe reason for this? 2. Why was the Y wing used as the Alliances primary ground attack craft and atmospheric bomber even if newer ships X-wings and B-wings were available (this question also applies to the GAR as well)? 3. Is there anything the Y-wing could do better than the B-wing, outside of being cheaper and less maintenance heavy, was there any sort of advantage to picking it over the B-wing, assuming the turret is working. 4. If the Y-wings turrets in A New Hope had a gunner or were automated and functional, do you think the Trench Run would have gone differently as they could properly defend themselves from Lord Vader and his wingmen? Also I thought you were joking how good Vite Ramen was, then i actually tried the Massaman Curry and was honestly surprised on how good it tasted, 10/10 ramen, would buy again
#askeck Hey Eck! I wanted to hear your thoughts on different diseases throughout the Star Wars universe, if there’s much material there. I know Neimodians are actually famous for their skin folds housing thousands of different bacteria’s and diseases. Anyways, thanks Eck, love your content!
#AskEck I know we don't really know a lot about the other galaxies in the Star Wars universe, but I was wondering about the galaxy Thrawn was stuck with Ezra, a.k.a Peridea, and what else may be in that galaxy?
The EU defined satalite galaxies within orbit of the known galaxy, which was the largest in the local group of galaxies. They were denoted with the letters of Aurebesh. An example would be Companion Besh, known as Firefist. There's a moment within AOTC when Obi-Wan observed a viewscreen with two galaxies on it. One is identified as the Rishi Maze within the film. It is top left. Firefist was bottom right. Canonically, only the Rishi Maze is identified from that same viewscreen. Peridea's galaxy is known as the far galaxy. Positionally, it's likely much further out.
#AskEck If a Borg Cube encountered a World Devastator, what would happen? Would the Borg be able to adapt to the Devastator's weapon, or would it just get eaten away? Or would they not even fight, but instead join forces, the World Devastator having similar adapting capabilities and being the epitome of Artificial Intelligence they've been striving for? And, should they fight, would the Devastator be able to adapt to and fire back Borg weaponry?
I like the idea of a massive quasar being in the center. It is a black hole sure but it does have a lot of unknown potential. Kind of like a super interstellar entity that is able to shoot out close to the same amount of mass it takes in. Realistically I doubt it would be THAT simple but hey starwars logic it’d be a bit reasonable Plus quasar just fun to say lol 😂
#AskEck: Which universe has the greatest power in relation to the others, from among Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, and maybe some others like Halo and Mass Effect?
@askeck could you delve into the full lore of the saboath mercenaries, captain toth and their whole story, along with providing specs for his fleet, capitol ships, deployers, and all?
There’s one ship I don’t think we’ve talked about from legends which I’m curious: can you do a video breaking down the republic class star destroyer from the NR navy?
#askeck This one's gonna be a little different, you ever played the space sim Elite:Dangerous? It has a 1:1 Milky Way galaxy to travel across, and it abides by real life physics. So for example, space flight isn't a ww2-esque dogfight but rather it uses inertia & thrust vectoring and whatnot. The game might be long in the tooth these days at almost 10yrs old and suffering a decline, but it's absolutely worth giving a chance for someone like yourself. I brought it up because this video made me recall an expedition I took once to our galactic core. It took ages to get there, and it needs serious prep work to do it safely, but it was pretty crazy. The density of the systems in there is ridiculous, you're practically tripping over them. Let's say the density for average space towards the galactic edges is akin to looking at the sky in a suburban area with some light pollution but not much. The density in the core was like being in the middle of northern Canada's wilderness with no light pollution whatsoever. And travelling to a nebula looks amazing, like the crab nebula or the horsehead nebula to name a few. There's a lot more that could be said, but I'd be writing a whole book. It's a really cool game if you're into the genre. I haven't touched it in about 4-5 years but I was thinking about reinstalling it again. As a bonus fact, the model of our galaxy is so on point that several systems were discovered IRL which were nearly identical to how the ai model composed them years prior to their discovery.
For me since they've shown Corran Horn as a kid I would like to see them do a story about his time in Corsec, the Corellian Police, it would be interesting to see how people handled things during the height of the Empire and it would be the perfect opportunity to explore The Path that was introduced in Obi Wan.
What do the inhabitants of the Star Wars Galaxy call their galaxy? I mean, I doubt whoever or whatever lives in Andromeda calls their galaxy Andromeda.
#AskEck I have simple but maybe extensive question. Which fighter in Star Wars ,canon and legends, was the best performing one in atmosphere? If there even were differences to begin with.
#AskEck I have three questions regarding The Force Ability to strip someone of their connection to The Force (As shown with Nomi Sunrider doing it to Ulic Qel-Droma in Legends): Could such an ability be used in reverse, like giving someone back their connection to The Force? And then, I have one that somewhat relates to the last one: Could someone who wasn't born Force-Sensitive be made Force-Sensitive sometime in their life using that ability to restore Force Connections? Like, if Luke, or Leia made Han Solo Force-Sensitive, when he wasn't beforehand? Can you imagine how Jedi/Sith Recruitment would work if people could just be made Force-Sensitive who weren't originally born strong in The Force? Or, could people who wanted to be Jedi, or Sith, but can't because they're not Force-Sensitive go to someplace like The Valley of The Jedi on Ruusan to become Force-Sensitive if that were an option?
Hey Ek. Make a video about the dissolution of the imperial senate. How’d Sidious do it. Killed them all or what? I’m sure it wasn’t easy to do, ending the senate ..
#askEck could you do, if you want and you like, a video about when and how did the rebel alliance fleet grow and add to its fleet the different ships (starfighters, cruisers, frigates etc) based on the material we have from legends/canon? Maybe it is too much, sorry... And thanks for your videos, they are aweasome
Ya know, what if the Super-Massive Black Hole at the Center of the Galaxy just so happens to be another entrance to a space between the force? Kinda like what Mortis was, an ethereal place where the Force was extremely potent, essentially a Force Nexus, one outside of the mortal plane/realm. Except in this case, it's clearly still within reach (theoretically, that is) and not outside of regular space like Mortis was. Imagine if there are "sleeping" Celestials in there, like in a comatose/stasis-like state, perhaps a few that like, took the response to keep the Core stabilized, and therefore the galaxy, meaning that mayhaps they've allowed the Star Wars Galaxy to be less volatile than most other Galaxies maybe? I dunno, just food for thought to make it even cooler. These Celestials would just be in their OG "spiritual" forms, unlike the Mortis Gods and Bendu who evidently decided to remain physical and active in the Galaxy. (Well, not the Bendu, he just kinda wanted to sleep and do his own thing but... yeah whatever, you guys get my point) 😅
The Wellspring of Life also existed within the Deep Core, near the centre of the known galaxy. So, a supermassive black hole within the Star Wars mythos may serve as a region of which raw stellar energy is siphoned into the Cosmic Force. An ammendment, however Mortis is essentially a seperate ethereal realm described as a conduit of which all the Force flows, explaining the powerful vergence it was. Not necessarily a limbo between the Living or Cosmic Force.
@AshanBhatoa Ah, I see, so Mortis was just a powerful focus point of the Force, not necessarily a connecting/in-between passage of sorts? Also, if the Wellspring of Life is in the Deep Core, what about the Fountain of Power, since we know these are the places the Son and Daughter visited to fully unlock their Celestial Potential (or maybe that's only a Legends thing but still, food for thought) Also, when you say "raw stellar energy" being siphoned unit the Cosmic Force, what do you mean by that? I know the Living and Cosmic Force feed into each other, but how does this idea of yours factor into that? (Not questioning or saying you're wrong, I'm just asking for clarification, for I am very interested at the moment)
@DovaDude I was actually just thinking of something similar, like if they specifically made it so the Star Wars Galaxy was protected since some of their creations outside of it are... far too dangerous to be dealt with. The Mortis Gods created Centerpoint Station, so a massive "Dyson Sphere" of sorts around the Massive Black Hole could be a cool concept. One that acts as a massive Interdiction/Gravity-Well
@@thalmoragent9344 If it was an interdiction field that surrounded the galaxy it would shut down all hyperspace inside of it too. I was thinking something along the lines of a penrose sphere that essentially constricts all hyperspace lanes leading outside of the galaxy.

In either Legends or Cannon, did Obi-Wan's relationship with Satine Kryze contribute to Anakin's fall to the dark side? I'd imagine that this may have lead to some additional sting to Vader's resentment of Kenobi after Padme's death, maybe even torturing Anakin before his fall as he might have debated talking to Obi-Wan as "he might understand", especially as Kenobi even confided with Skywalker at one point regarding Satine and then throw in Kenobi's return to Mandalore for his failed rescue attempt of her. #AskEck

Hey Eck! I was wondering if you had any idea just how badly the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War devastated the Galaxy (Legends or Cannon, take your pick). I've wondered this since reading the (excellent) novel _Dark Forces Rising,_ when the protagonists had a minor freak out upon learning that Thrawn had found reliable cloning tech, since the Empire had almost depleted the manpower within its territory and this would allow a new round of conflict. The implication that every able bodied man across multiple worlds had died in war was a pretty horrifying thought by itself, as well as a disturbing indication as to just how massive and devastating the war had been. I know that this isn't the most flashy or epic facet of war to focus on, but I've always wondered how a Galaxy that's constantly seeing epic wars can withstand the constant devastation. Is galactic civilization close to falling apart from the strain, or is it capable of churning out even grander conflicts?

You'd just mine the moons for its metalls to build ships and weapons and the gas giant for its gasses as fuel and atmospheric gases for crews.
What exactly are death sticks? #AskEck
Drugs.
#askEck - Did Obi Wan Kenobi use the force in the cantina to choose Han and Chewie as their pilots?
So Byss essentially was canonized as Exegol (dark force world, massive fleet, huge citadel of Palpatine, cloning facilities for Palps,...
I have a question what does the empire/first order do with their dead storm troopers seems like they would have a lot of em. And for that matter damaged vessels. a special place from where they came from etc...
#AskEck
I have 4 questions all related to same ship
I´m always happy when u make lore vids, I´d love to see more stuff like this in the future. Star Wars infodumping is my favourite genre of vids :)
#askeck Hey Eck! I wanted to hear your thoughts on different diseases throughout the Star Wars universe, if there’s much material there. We know alot about bio weapons and plagues, but how did different species interact with others natives diseases? Is bacta a cure-all for naturally occurring diseases?
It's a new Galaxy so we don't know anything about it.
#AskEck What happens when you enter hyperspace... VERTICALLY?
#AskEck what was the story where Obi-Won and Anakin go to the planet with force sensitive beings who turn into ships?
@askech
Can you do a video on the units and rank structure of the cis navy
Could you do an episode on Maarek Stele?
Empress Teta and Tython are systems with very important history.
I like the idea of a massive quasar being in the center. It is a black hole sure but it does have a lot of unknown potential.
Kind of like a super interstellar entity that is able to shoot out close to the same amount of mass it takes in. Realistically I doubt it would be THAT simple but hey starwars logic it’d be a bit reasonable
Plus quasar just fun to say lol 😂
#AskEck: Which universe has the greatest power in relation to the others, from among Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, and maybe some others like Halo and Mass Effect?
@askeck could you delve into the full lore of the saboath mercenaries, captain toth and their whole story, along with providing specs for his fleet, capitol ships, deployers, and all?
There’s one ship I don’t think we’ve talked about from legends which I’m curious: can you do a video breaking down the republic class star destroyer from the NR navy?
Kyp Durron's sense of right and wrong.
Amazing video😊😊
Eck you should get Vite Ramen in local Halifax/NS grocery stores
#AskEck Is there any story/Character/Etc from legends that is at the top of your wishlist to be included in the Canon on screen
Blue Milky Way.
#AskEck
I have simple but maybe extensive question. Which fighter in Star Wars ,canon and legends, was the best performing one in atmosphere? If there even were differences to begin with.
Rivers of Chaos comic books and early republic bases.
Really enjoy this type of video
Just commenting out of appreciation for the channel
A super massive black hole, duh! There is rarely a large galaxy without one.
Hey Ek. Make a video about the dissolution of the imperial senate. How’d Sidious do it. Killed them all or what? I’m sure it wasn’t easy to do, ending the senate ..
I didn't realise that Empress Teta was so close to Coruscant.
Something cool could be a megastructure harvesting the black hole's energy to create the Great Hyperspace Barrier.
@AshanBhatoa
Ah, I see, so Mortis was just a powerful focus point of the Force, not necessarily a connecting/in-between passage of sorts?
Also, if the Wellspring of Life is in the Deep Core, what about the Fountain of Power, since we know these are the places the Son and Daughter visited to fully unlock their Celestial Potential (or maybe that's only a Legends thing but still, food for thought)
Also, when you say "raw stellar energy" being siphoned unit the Cosmic Force, what do you mean by that? I know the Living and Cosmic Force feed into each other, but how does this idea of yours factor into that?
(Not questioning or saying you're wrong, I'm just asking for clarification, for I am very interested at the moment)
@DovaDude
I was actually just thinking of something similar, like if they specifically made it so the Star Wars Galaxy was protected since some of their creations outside of it are... far too dangerous to be dealt with.
“Helped me raise money for hockey” I’ve wondered for a while if your American or Canadian, I know now
A secret empire waiting to attack the galaxy?
Like the aeternum
#AskEck I am a huge fan of your content and I love all your lore vids and ship breakdowns. My questions is this:
1. If you were tasked with building new Starfighters (an interceptor, multi-role fighter, bomber, heavy bomber, gunship, etc.) what would they look like? What would you call them? And What weapons would they have?
In either Legends or Cannon, did Obi-Wan's relationship with Satine Kryze contribute to Anakin's fall to the dark side? I'd imagine that this may have lead to some additional sting to Vader's resentment of Kenobi after Padme's death, maybe even torturing Anakin before his fall as he might have debated talking to Obi-Wan as "he might understand", especially as Kenobi even confided with Skywalker at one point regarding Satine and then throw in Kenobi's return to Mandalore for his failed rescue attempt of her. #AskEck
#AskEck Who would win? Necromorphs from Dead Space or the Chimera from Resistance? I also would like to see a full video on the CSO vs the Executor with full breakdown. Love your channel!
#AskEck what is on the western part of the core like why is there no trade route from coruscant passing west of the core into the south of the galaxy and where does unknown regions begin?
Here before the Canadian realizes his spelling mistake in the title
Wasn't in legends the exact center of the galaxy essentially a black hole cluster called the Maw meant to imprison Abeloth? And wasn't it where Isaard built the prototype death star?
#AskEck How would the survival of Thrawn's clone in Vision Of The Future change the Legends timeline. Please don't just look at the Vong war and look at what would happen past it.
Was the hyperspace route to Coruscant that Ahsoka and Tarkin knew from the Citadel episodes the same one that the separatists use to attack Coruscant? It looked like that's what Dave was setting up, but that thread never got picked up.
#askEck
The Separatists used a secret route through the deep core. It was in the novel.
@@bluehero-96 I'm just curious if the Clone Wars was pitching an alternate or expanded explanation
I do
What legends events are currently being replaced by the high republic canon? Is there anything interesting from legends that can make its way into this Era of Canon? #AskEck
#AskEck Thi is probably not something worth a whole video on, but do you know about Palpatine's apparent Grand Neice Ederlathh Pallopides? It's an obscure legendsd character, obviously before we learned Palpatine murdered his entire family, and I was wondering if there was more on her besides the Wookipedia Article I found.
Love these types of videos. I have to know though, what was the state of the galaxy and power balance of major players post-Fate of the Jedi? #AskEck
Is the answer helicopter?
*edit it wasn’t helicopter
You’re telling me it’s not George Lucas’ head slowly spinning as he gazes upon his wonderful creation?
#askeck might be a little dumb but, in the entire history of the galaxy why were MOST years had to be controlled only by 1 government(so like the republic and the old republic, technically, fought wars to control the entire galaxy)
Pretty good video though it was quite annoying you kept showing maps with typhon in the deep core and didn't at least mention typhon considering it's where the original order of force users that would become the Jedi and sith were from
The legendary battle between Darth Jar Jar and Sha'a gi at only 1% their power.
Either the guy in the last comments section was prescient, or this was a fast video!
#askeck The old star wars essentials guide said that most of the CIS armies were organic, but doesn't give much details. Are there any other mentions of this?
Hey Eck. I don't know if you've done a video about it but can you discuss Order 99 for the Seperatists droids?
The script-by-committee of episode eight
#AskEck How was it that Kyle Katarn was able to become a powerful Jedi so quickly? Aside from being a video game character.
#AskEck,
Doesn't Jedi Master Soloot's theory, the unpublished part of the Jedi Path guidebook, fully reconcile the Chosen One Prophecy with the Sith still being present after Endor, while no one is paying attention?
Where's that from?
#AskEck What are the three most significant, most decisive military campaigns in Star Wars Legends lore?
A super massive black hole is at the center of pretty much every galaxy.
I love these videos! Hopefully Disney can bring back the Star wars fanbase.
#AskEck
I found out about the species known as the Shards and the Tsil. I really would like to hear an in Depth Video on the lore of both of the species and their native planets (Nam Chorios, excetera)
#askeck How many high-ranking Separatists joined the Rebellion? Do you think the droid general Kalani joined the Rebellion?
Would buy the Ramen.. but it doesn't ship to Sweden.
#AskEck
What were rebel/empire military tactics like during the Galactic Civil War? Were they strategical and careful? Or more hit-and-run?
#AskEck What do you think would have changed after the Battle of Naboo if the Trade Federation won?
Hi Eck, can you talk more about the nagai tof conflict please? #askeck
As cool as Byss is I think Exegol is much more aesthetically suited for a place of pure evil where the most evil man ever to exist lives. Byss in art either looks like the Amazon from space or like a less fantastical version of Savathun's throne world from Destiny
@askeck When were the Tie Fighters and Star destroyers made? It seems the story jumps pretty quickly between republic ships to imperial ships…
#AskEck
Has there ever been an alien Jedi or Sith who was weaker in the Force and supplemented their abilities in the Force with their alien physiology?
I'm a simple man, I see Venators and a Secutor. I click. My two best star destroyers in star wars😊
