Nice video. You gained a sub. Do more of these matchups and you'll get a good amount of views and subs. Since you're using Thrawns Revenge, you can matchup old CIS ships (via the Corporate sector) vs the larger Imperial ships to show how much more powerful Imperial ships are compared to the Republic and CIS. Also, some advice, one is to zoom in, and give different angles of the ship, so we can really see the turrets firing.
Thanks for the comment. Yea, that is quite nice. At least in lore, they are also quite vulnerable if the enemy can get to their rear and ofc vs. fighters. Imo the latter is not quite that well featured in Thrawn's Revenge :)
Unfortunately - this is not a good test. For some reason the AI turned half of the arcs of the Starhawk away early in the fight. Probably need to try again but probably control the Starhawk and keep it facing forward. I think the variety of weapons/missiles on the Starhawk should win out.
Thanks for the comment. That might be the case. This was actually done in multiplayer and still the ships do some weird things despite orders. Imo one problem of Starhawk is also the ship's weapon layout which does not allow as clear a focus on a single target compared to Star Destroyers :)
@ the damage was done by the environment what it did do was overload the engines the star hawk should have been able to push the ship into a planet or asteroid field, that was what made the starhawk so damned dangerous, that tractor beam could and would toss imperial star destroyers like rag dolls
@@knight5846 Hmm. Agreed on the environment but imo it also pulled parts from the ship (might remember wrong though). But agreed that tossing around :)

Thank You! And thanks for the interesting info. I will keep that zooming in mind in future vids :)
The true Imperial might!
Indeed :) Thanks for the comment.
The star destroyer was meant to match against a imperial 2 class star destroyer it makes sense a upgraded alegiance class star destroyer could win
Makes sense :) Thanks for the comment.
Star destroyer is more easily able to focus all Off its weapons on a single target

What about the starhawks massive tractor beam???
A good question. It has the tractor beam ability imo but it does not do any damage (as in Squadrons) :) Thanks for the comment.

Great video!
That's why I only play with empire.
Thanks for the comment. There is that something when a bunch of ISDs drop out of hyperspace :)
