I'm like u gage once u get over a 2lber or so I'm not putting the knife to those,bigger fish are not as goood ta eat,but 10-13 inches is good eaten but I won't hardly ever keep one,and prob should.when I want sum ta eat ill go to the farm pond that has 50000 10 inchers,that's what I'll go catch.now I have been in hot tournaments that alot of the fish died,and I've told directors tell em don't throw em back let em float off down the river,and I will take em home a fillet em.no since for waste.
